Design of software single purpose machine for manufacturing test
Janoušek, Roman ; Šubrt, Kamil (referee) ; Houška, Pavel (advisor)
This diploma thesis deals with design and implementation of software for control of manufacturing tests of pneumatic proportional valve Festo MPYE. The single-purpose testing device consists of a DAQ device, a pressure sensor and of electrically operated pneumatic valves. In the introduction of this thesis are outlined aims of thesis followed by introduction to single-purpose assemblies commonly used in practice. The main part of this thesis deals with analysis and with solving the issues of assigned product testing. The designed and implemented modular software for control of manufacturing tests of assigned product is presented as an outcome and this software is easily adjustable for tests of a different product. In the conclusion are assessed achieved aims.
Automation of the indexing device TOS DU 250
Sobotka, Ondřej ; Vetiška, Jan (referee) ; Houška, Pavel (advisor)
This bachelor deals with the possibilities of automation divider TOS DU 250. The aim is to design affordable management with accurate position sensing and braking of spindle. Diveder control is formed through the control panel which sets the absolute value of rotation.
Verifications of properties of the absolute position sensors with Hall elements

Utilization of the inertial sensors for control of the mobile robots
Lachnit, Zdeněk ; Ondroušek, Vít (referee) ; Houška, Pavel (advisor)
The main subject of this thesis is use of inertial sensors for better motion and stability control of mobile robots. In background research are described the basic methods of mobile robots localization. Second part of background research is about mobile robot stability, in this part are described the methods of mobile robots stability control. In next part is description of MEMS accelerometers and gyroscopes and description of basic method of filtering and integration which are useful for input processing of these sensors. Thesis continues with inertial sensors analysis for application on control of wheeled and legged mobile robots. In end of thesis are specified the experiment results, which confirm the applicability of sensors for mobile robot control.
Force control possibilities of linear drives
Merzliakov, Evgeniy ; Šubrt, Kamil (referee) ; Houška, Pavel (advisor)
This bachelor thesis is about force control possibilities of linear drives. It contains the dividing of linear drives, the description of motion controller and linear drive, which were used for experiment. Also it contains the description of communication protocol, methods and principle of regulation, designing of the experimental equipment and the program in NI LabVIEW as well as the results of measurement with this software.
Design of software for testing the thermostatic valves by EN215
Halmeš, Lucián ; Šubrt, Kamil (referee) ; Houška, Pavel (advisor)
The thesis solves the control software for the flow characteristic test device. The work is also a brief study of thermostatic valves testing according to EN215 with focus on solved equipment.
Motion control of two-wheel robot
Design of autonomous monitoring system elektronics
Heger, Krištof ; Houška, Pavel (referee) ; Hadaš, Zdeněk (advisor)
This master’s thesis deals with the design of autonomous monitoring system electronics which will be used for diagnostics of the electromagnetic vibration generator developed at Brno University of Technology. This generator should be used in a practical application where frequent mechanical shocks are present, for example in vehicle or goods transportation. For such an application, the goal of the monitoring system is to find out whether generator is capable of producing enough electrical energy for smooth operation of wireless sensors used in similar applications. The first part of the thesis consists of the autonomous diagnostics system overview from both commercial and scientific spheres, brief description of the vibration generator used and also a summary of commercially available power management electronics. The next chapters present the detailed description of each functional element of energy harvesting system, the simulation of generator’s behaviour for optimal load in three different model applications and the most important part – design of the autonomous monitoring system. In the end, achieved results are evaluated and it is considered whether the shock-driven generator is suitable for use in a given application.
Software for control of mass spectrometer and deposition interface
Ertl, Lukáš ; Andrš, Ondřej (referee) ; Houška, Pavel (advisor)
This thesis describes the design and implementation of control applications for the deposition interface and mass spectrometer. The paper describes the working principle of these devices and their hardware specifications. It also describes how the design and the conception of the application. Developed applications are tested on real devices at the end.
Control of two-axis positioning table
Mičulka, Tomáš ; Kroupa, Jiří (referee) ; Houška, Pavel (advisor)
The bachelor thesis deals with design and implementation of software for control of two axis positioning table. Table control is implemeted in PLC with the Beckhoff EL 7642 card for DC motor control. Software is designed in the TwinCat3 enviroment, using TC_MC2 according to the PLCopen standard. The use of camming and gearing methods for central control of two motors is presented too.
