Environmental influences and the influence of parents' preferences on the development of movements precondition of school-age children

Title: Environmental influences and the influence of parents' preferences on the development of movements precondition of school-age children Objectives: This bachelor thesis is focused on better description to better describe infleunce of family environment on motoric growth of children and to reveal connection between parents' preferences and child's movement preconditions. Next goal is to quantify physical activities of both parents and child on weekly basis and asses the relation between child's activities and both parents past and present activities. Methods: For theoretical part we used research of existing studies that indclude this topic. With an use of surveys we got qualified and quantifies data of motoric abilities of children and parents influence to it. Participants were parents of children between 6 and 15 years of age. This Survey was created in Google Forms and is based on answers considering 43 boys and 28 girls. Respondents were chosen by a snowball method and simple targeting method though institutions. Title: The effect of evening exposure to blue light on sleep quality Objective: The main aim of this bachalar thesis is to compare and determine the effect of exposure to blue light in the evening on the quality and parameters of sleep using the results obtained from previous studies dealing with evening exposure to blue light on sleep quality. Methods: The bachalar thesis was carried out as a systemastic review. The source of information were scientific articles and studies from the electronic database PubMed and scientific literature related to the issue. Results: Exposure to blue light in the evening decreased the quality and parameters of sleep. These negative effects were eliminated by using blue light blocking glasses. Title: The effect of cigarette smoking and alcohol consumption on dental caries and periodontitis in adults and the relationship between alcohol intake and visceral fat in the elderly. Objectives: The aim of my master thesis was to assess the influence of alcoholic beverages and cigarette smoking on the risk of dental caries and periodontitis in adults. Another aim was to assess the relationship between alcohol intake and visceral fat in the elderly. Methods: The thesis is carried out as two independent cross-sectional studies. In the first study, gender differences were tested using the non-parametric Kolmogorov- Smirnov test. Pearson's correlation coefficient was used to assess the relationship between the amount of alcohol consumed in kg and cigarettes smoked in pcs and the risk of dental caries or periodontitis. In the second study, body composition analysis was performed using the electrical bioimpedance method. Two-sample Kolmogorov-Smirnov test was used to test the hypotheses. Title: Compensation of muscle asymmetries in cross-country skiers Objectives: The goal was to assemble methodological material, that is focused on muscle imbalances in cross-country skiers. Which is based on review of found materials and results gained from author's bachleor's thesis. Tasks: The task was a review of Czech and foreign literature followed by explanation of terms compensation exercise and muscle imbalances. Next task was assembling of methodological material, that is focused on muscle imbalances in cross-country skiers. Methods: Method used was comparative analysis of found materials reffering to the topic of muscle imbalances in cross-country skiers. Eating habits of children in sports primary schools

Title: Eating habits of children in sports primary schools Objectives: The aim of the diploma thesis is to find out and compare the eating habits of selected children from sports and non-sports classes at primary schools with a sports focus. Methods: In the research part, a survey was chosen, the aim of which was to obtain the necessary information regarding the eating habits of a selected group of students. A total of 208 respondents aged 10-15 participated in the survey. Results: The obtained average BMI values of all respondents are below the 75th percentile, which indicates the values of optimal and proportional body weight. We found different eating habits between respondents of sports and non-sports classes. Respondents from non-sports classes have worse eating habits than respondents from sports classes. However, surprising differences were evaluated in the possibilities of spending free time. A total of 39.6% of respondents spend time at the weekend at home or in other activities, such as watching television. Of this, 22.6% are respondents from sports classes, which is more than respondents from non- sports classes (17.1%). Effect of mobility exercises in offline and online environment on subjective perception of back pain

Title: Effect of mobility exercises in offline and online environment on subjective perception of back pain Objectives: The main goal of this work was to determine whether the onset of daily mobility contributes to the reduction of individual's back pain perception. Within the work the results between the offline and online group was compared. Methods: The diploma thesis has the character of qualitative research, where case study of 20 probands was applied. Online input and output questionnaires were compiled to obtain data, which respondents filled in at the beginning and end of the intervention. Results: The research included 11 women and 9 men aged 21 - 44 years. Individuals have mostly sedentary jobs and some of them play recreational sports in their free time. At the end of the intervention, all individuals showed an improvement on the scale of the pain intensity, when the perceived back pain was alleviated or disappeared. The offline group performed better than the online group. Conclusion: The study confirmed that the inclusion of daily mobility contributes to the reduction of subjectively perceived back pain. The use of Drums Alive exercise program in older people

Title: Use of the DRUMS ALIVE program (drumming on gymnastic balls) for seniors. Objectives: The aim of the thesis was to find out whether there will be a change in functional fitness after three months of application of the "Drums Alive" program for seniors. Methods: Ten women with an average age of 75 years were tested. Functional fitness was evaluated using the measurement of batteries "Senior Fitness Test" before and after the three-month intervention program. A custom inteview survey was used for evaluation of subjective feelings of the participants. The exercises took place once a week for three months and each lesson lasted 40 minutes. Results: Fitness Drums Alive applied for a duration of 3 months mainly improved the strength of the upper and lower extremities. The flexibility of the joints of the upper and lower extremities, aerobic fitness and agility did not show any major changes. The training program was assessed positively overall by the participants. Title: The effect of citrulline and citrulline malate supplementation on selected physiological indicators - review study. Objectives: Systematic findings overview of the effect of citrulline and citrulline malate on healthy individual's locomotor system and other physiological indicators. Methods: The study is designed as a findings overview. Electronic databases pubmed.com and ukaz.cuni.cz were used as an information source. "Citrulline" or "citrulline malate" and "exercise performance" and "randomized controlled trial" keywords were used for the information search. Results: Eighteen studies and 307 individuals are included in the overview. Studies are categorized according to duration and type of supplementation substance. Four studies agree on the strength improvement after acute use of citrulline malate. Four studies agree on endurance improvement in case of citrulline long term use. Three studies conclude on pain mitigation in case of substance use 24, 48 and 72 hours after training. Also, studies agree on increase of the levels of citrulline, arginine and ornithine plasmatic concentration after use of citrulline and citrulline malate.
