Standing of the airport Prague-Ruzyně in the airline industry of the Czech Republic

This bachelor thesis focuses on the airport Prague-Ruzyně. In the first chapter, it defines airport as a complex, it acquaints with its functions and with the common problems of airports. Second part summarizes and rates the historical development of the Prague-Ruzyně airport and describes its current situation and problems. Last chapter deals with the selected performance indicators in past 10 years and thus proves its importance for the airline industry. It also suggests its future development.
Characterisation and comparison of travel operator's tour offers to a selected destination

This bachelor thesis deals with an evaluation of package holidays to Norway offered through chosen Czech travel operators for the 2010 season. After clarification of the terms 'tour operator' and 'destination of tourism', information about the country and interesting attractivities and products will be discussed. The core of this work is to analyse and compare vacation packages to Norway with an objective to help the tourism consumer when choosing a package and to help a tour operator with its formation.
Creation of the package tour in the incoming tourism

The aim of this project is to create a package tour in the incoming tourism, which was ordered by a foreign tour operator. The package tour is designed to be able to expand the range of tours to the Czech Republic from abroad. It is a cognitive package tour, which will introduce manufactory of typical Czech products to the participants. The participants will be allowed to taste all the products and also learn the production process and the town, where it originates. They are: Karlovy Vary and Becherovka, Pilsen and Pilsner beer, Old Plzenec and Bohemia Sekt, Pardubice and gingerbread, Loštice with Olomouc curd cheese and Mikulov with Czech wine.
Tourism products in regions of the Czech Republic (South Moravian Region)

The aim of this bachelor thesis is to characterize the offer of tourism products in the South Moravian Region and to determine if all the potential of the Region is used for the creation of tourism products. The actual offer of tourism products is evaluated in comparison with the potential of the Region and the demand of visitors. In the final part of the thesis, there are presented three suggestions of tourism products that could attract potential visitors to the South Moravian Region.
Financial analysis of the hotel

The subject of the thesis is the financial analysis of the company which operates the hotel Mövenpick Prague, for the period from year 2004 to 2008. The financial analysis is produced from external, publicly available data. The thesis is divided into two parts. The first part is focused on the theoretical aspects of the financial analysis. The second, practical part contains the application of the methods described in the theoretical part. The conclusion summarizes the results of the thesis.
The opportunities for graduates of Tourism Industry at the University of Economics on the labour market

The thesis looks at a detailed survey of jobs opportunities for graduates of tourism industry at the University of Economics on the labour market. The theoretical parts deals with the definition of the Tourism, actual position of Tourism labour market in the Czech Republic, factors which influence the job exercise of graduates and the causes of the graduates unemployment. A part of the thesis belongs to review of companies in the Tourism Industry, getting of workforce with the inclusion of ways of occupying places at these companies. The possible job opportunities, suitable for graduates of Tourism Industry according to the ways of getting workforce, are located in the framework of analytic part. Another chapter of the thesis is devoted to the detailed questionnaire which is focused on student's and graduate's expectations of their possible job oppostunities. As students and graduates of the University of Economics constitute the supply on the labour market, the thesis includes also evaluation of demand on the Tourism labour market in the selected region of the capital of the Czech Republic.

The presumptions are generally characterized in the first part, the second part of the thesis describes Austria, its tourism and the current development of the tourism in Austria. The second part also describes the cultural and natural attractions in Austria; the cultural attractions comprise castles, museums, monasteries, churches etc., the natural attractions describe the Austrian Alps, protected areas, natural parks, lakes etc.
Analysis of job opportunities in the tourism industry

The main objective of this thesis is to define and describe in detail job opportunities in the tourism industry and to research current employer needs. The first part of the thesis focuses on defining of job opportunities in the tourism industry and on determination of factors and subjects which influence the labour market in the tourism industry. One of the chapters explains the meaning of the education in the tourism and compares the education system with labour market needs. The second part concentrates on the analysis of job offers on the internet. Results of the analysis allow describing job opportunities regarding to their structure, region and tourism sector in which they ensue. Employer needs arise from the job offer analysis too and they are expressed by demands on education, training, language skills and other important skills.
Yield (revenue) management and its utilisation in hotel industry

Tourism trade as well as hotel industry plays an important role in the services sector of the national economy of many countries, including the Czech Republic. The success of the whole branch is significantly influenced by demand fluctuations which usually occur in seasonal terms. Nowadays, however, when the world economy is afflicted by economical crisis, the demand downturns are apparent even in the times of high season. That is why the companies search for methods which would help to soften the impact of the crisis. Yield management appeared in hotel industry more than 20 years ago and is now used in many hotel chains and even small independent hotels. Its goal is to eliminate the demand fluctuation through an effective use of the hotel capacity. In practice it means to ensure that the right rooms are sold to the right customer for the right price. The aim of this thesis is a presentation of an application of Yield management theory in practice, in case of Hilton Prague hotel and to find out the opportunities of the Yield management to reduce the impact of economical crisis. First, we will need to define the base and principals of Yield management. Then we will apply them in practice to the Hilton Prague hotel. Finally, for the use of this hotel, we will examine the methods of smoothing the stroke of the crises.

This Master's thesis is focused on financial analysis of joint-stock company Recoop Tour for the period 2004-2007, which owns one of the luxury hotels in Prague Diplomat. This hotel has a rich tradition of providing accommodation and catering services, the organization of international symposia, fairs and conferences. The company Recoop Tour is attractive for the purposes of financial analysis because it is a relatively new corporation, which was actually created for the construction and operation of one of the most luxurious hotels in Prague. The company uses a bank loans from its very beginning and therefore has negative equity. However, the results of economic activity show a continuous reduction of negative values of foreign capital. Development of indices of financial analysis suggests that the situation in corporate finances needs to adopt a number of measures such as a raise of common stock and certain other management decisions, which will increase the overall performance and achievement of economic profit.
