The impact of financial rewards on work motivation and job satisfaction

This thesis deals with the impact of financial rewards on work motivation and job satisfaction. The theoretical part highlights reward system and its components, work motivation, motive types, motivation process, attention is paid to theories of work motivation and motivational factors are summed up. Attention is also paid to job satisfaction and its factors. In the empirical part of the thesis the questionairre survey results are presented. The survey examined perceived impact of financial rewards on work motivation and job satisfaction.

This thesis deals with the most recent trends in recruiting related to information and communication technologies. The attention is focused on the internet, social networks and smartphones along with the possibilities of their use for recruitment. A part of this thesis is a quantitative survey of trends in recruiting. Practices, experiences and opinions of candidates who were looking for the job in the last year were collected in order to describe the situation of the use of these trends in the Czech Republic and their possible further development. Learning and Education in the Adaptation Proces of Employees

This thesis focuses on education and learning within the adaptation process of employees starting a new job. It is emphasizing the importance of creation of the adaptation plan. The adaptation plan also influences the effectivity of the adaptation process and related education and learning. It points out the influence of the size of the organization on the final form of the adaptation process. Well executed adaptation process may stabilize and motivate the new employee significantly. Part of the thesis is dedicated to communication as well, due to communication being an important tool in education and learning. The theses focuses particularly on education and learning, various types of learning, theories and methods used in education, that are applicable during the adaptation process. A special chapter is dedicated to tools and technologies that may aid in education and learning as well as it issues the measurability and evaluation of education and learning. Theoretical concepts are backed up by the results of a research conducted through a questionnaire survey. This survey focuses all thesis previous six chapters. Following bachelor's thesis is devoted to methodological aspects of the career counseling. It deals with the terminological discussion of counseling-related concepts and its areas of application in the context of adult education. The thesis is focused on a counseling process, structure, tools and specifics in career counseling. It provides an analysis of wide range of counseling tools from basic counseling techniques to specific digital and complex means. Practical implementation of the tools is illustrated with a case study within which two counseling programs for the long-term unemployed are compared. Application of Bata's Management

The Bachelor's thesis focuses on the analysis of Bata's system of personnel management in comparison with contemporary theoretical bases. Furthermore, it provides its comparison with personnel management of 2N TELEKOMUNIKACE a.s., a company which openly follows Bata's legacy and applies Bata's principles on the company management. The analysis of Bata's management system covers the period of 1921-1939, when the company was neither under the influence of war military contracts nor political and historical situation in Czechoslovakia after year 1939. This Bachelor thesis discusses demands on competencies of lectors of adaptation courses for high schools. The object of the thesis is to assemble a list of competencies that a lector should dispose of to be able to attain the goals of the adaptation course. The thesis presents the concept of adaptation courses and differents ways of their realisation. It also disserts on the competencies and the advantage of their utilization and presents two competency models that concern the profession of an adaptation course lector. With the use of relevant literature it identifies the main goals and principles of an adaptation course and the competencies they imply. Examples of particular show of these competencies in behaviour are a part of the assembled list. Acquisition and Development of Students and Graduates in the Concept

The thesis deals with recruitment and development of students and graduates in relation to the talent management concept. It focuses on interpretation of talent concept, development of talent management, its current approach and the importance of talent management to the organization. Attention is paid to methods of recruitment and development of students and graduates, emphasizing the specifics of this group of employees. A qualitative survey is part of this thesis. Two methods of measurement were applied in this research - studying documents (career portals of employers) and conducting interviews with representatives of HR departments of large businesses operating in Prague, focusing on whether and how employers work with students and graduates within their talent management systems, how they understand the concept of talent and which methods of recruitment and development of students and graduates they apply most frequently. This doctoral thesis proposes to specify a relatively new managerial discipline - Knowledge Management (KM) in a different way than it is done in an accessible literature. Nowadays, KM represents a wide and intensively discussed topic with many critics as well as advocates. Above all, it is a practical discipline that came out of practice and it is inseparably connected with it. Intangible (knowledge) assets are its main essence. KM is a complex process that must be supported by a strong foundation of enablers. The enablers for KM are corporate strategy and culture, team work, informal networking, measurement, and technology. Each of these must be designed and managed together with the others and supported by organizational process. The process usually involves several of the following stages or sub-processes in the use of knowledge: to create, identify, formalize, organize, disseminate, share, adapt, use and evaluate it. Effective implementation of KM brings the right knowledge to the right associates on time and in the right form to the organization. The thesis consists of four chapters.
