Recovery duration and its effect on acceleration
Filip, Ondřej ; Jebavý, Radim (advisor) ; Červinka, Pavel (referee)
Titel: Recovery duration and its effect on acceleration Objectives: The primary goal was to find out the effect of different recovery duration between sprints of 30 m distance. The secondary goal was to find out what are the views of trainers from different sports sectors on the interval of rest, the nature of the rest, and how they can influence the speed. Methods: Data for the results of my bachelor thesis were obtained by the method of testing and subsequent comparison of repeated speed runs to 4 x 30 m, among which there was a different interval of rest. Measurement was attended by 15 football players of adolescent age. Three groups of soccer players after a classic pre-match warm-up (warm-up, mobilization, and dynamic ballless exercises, ball exercises) have completed two runs of 30 meters, among which rest was 4 minutes. Subsequently, each group had a different recovery duration when GROUP I rested 10 minutes, GROUP II 20 minutes, and GROUP III 40 minutes. After a set recovery interval, the test was to complete a 5 minute run, which contained a shortened version of the special running excersizes and followed by another two runs of 30 meters with a 4 minute interval of rest. In total, 3 measurements were taken, and the groups changed all the intervals with the weekly spacing. Measured values...

The representation of athletic training in the biathlon physical conditioning
Bláha, Tomáš ; Kaplan, Aleš (advisor) ; Červinka, Pavel (referee)
Title: The representation of athletic training in the biathlon physical conditioning. Objectives: This thesis investigates how the Czech biathlon coaches evaluate the usefulness of athletic methods in the training of biathlon and what is the experience of the Czech elite biathletes with athletic training during their careers. In order to acquire relevant results, the couches answered a standardized questionnaire and the biathletes underwent an interview. Methods: The research uses a standardized anonymous questionnaire made for the biathlon couches in addition to a half-standardized interview with the members of the Czech national biathlon team. Results: The results show that the opinions of the biathlon coaches regarding the usefulness of athletic training in biathlon were positive. This has been clearly shown on the results of the standardized questionnaires where the most used method for speed training were short relays in the form of games and competitions (n=16). Regarding the strength development, the most used methods were: self-weight exercisers (n=16), standing vertical jumps over brackets (n=14), calfs exercise, walking lunges (n=14). Uphill running (n=16) and fartlek run (n=15) are also important for strength development. for the training of dexterity. Exercises such as; an obstacle...
Optimization of warm-up before strength-power training
Čaklošová, Karolína ; Jebavý, Radim (advisor) ; Červinka, Pavel (referee)
Title: Optimization of warm-up before speed-strenght loading Objectives: The aim of this work is to compare three variants of warming up and to determine the most appropriate one before speed-strenght loading. Methods: The test group consisted of 15 male students of the Faculty of Physical Education and Sport at The Charles University at the age of 22 -26 years. The tested subjects underwent 4 tests within 4 weeks. The first test was used to determine the 1 RM bench press and leg-press, the results of which we needed for the proper determination of the weights for the following protocols. The other three measurement protocols include three warm-up (base, a speed-strenght and toning), followed by a test of explosive strength in arms and legs. Countermovement vertical jump height with arm swing was used for legs testing and medicine ball shoot-up in supine position was used for arms testing. Results: This research shows that best results in the countermovement vertical jump height with arm swing were achieved after the speed-power warm-up. The best results in medicine ball shoot-up in supine position were achieved after the basic warm up, but results are not statistically significant for these testing. Keywords: Warm-up, dynamic stretching, speed-force loading, toning, explosive force, testing
Comparison of basic abilities of younger school age children attending the athletics and modern pentathlon squad
Chyba, Martin ; Kaplan, Aleš (advisor) ; Červinka, Pavel (referee)
Title of the thesis: Comparison of basic abilities of children of elementary school age attending athletics and modern pentathlon squad Student: Bc. Martin Chyba Supervisor: PhDr. Aleš Kaplan, PhD. Consultant: PhDr. Pavel Hráský, Ph.D. Aims of the thesis: To compare the level of basic ability in selected motor tests at athletes and modern pentathletes of the elementary school age. Methodology: Performance of athletes and modern pentathletes of elementary school age were compared in the following general tests: 12-minute run, one- way jump, stability tests, tests jump. At the same time, the body composition was monitored throughout the test group. Conclusions: Testing of base performance showed that there are no major differences between athletes and modern pentathletes. Despite slightly better average results of athletes, we can only register a statistically significant variance in "one-way jump" where athletes significantly outperformed pentathletes. Another variance was recorded in stability tests, namely standing on the right feet but only within boys category. Even in this case athletes achieved better results. The reason being may be the higher calendar and sports age of athletes. Another difference has shown in comparison of training units within a weekly training cycle. Athletes normally...

Results: Study more than fourty different literary sources and creating this final work with shape of scoping study is a comprehensive text, summarizing the scattered information on the topic running training of triathlete, from witch it follows that in a methodical concept do not differ a preview of the running training by the authors of older publications and contenporary authors, who profess modern aproaches. Also showed that inexpert and free accessible training plans from internet sources are useless for use in the practice training of amateur athletes. Key words: Triathlon, running, running training, technique of running, diagnostics analysis of running, triathlon training, sport training, performance diagnostics, running...
Development of Czech achievements in jumping disciplines
Bricín, Štěpán ; Vindušková, Jitka (advisor) ; Červinka, Pavel (referee)
Title: Development of Czech achievements in jumping disciplines Objectives: We focused on achievements of the best jumpers from the Czech Republic and the world including the junior category in disciplines of long jump, triple jump, high jump and pole-jump in period from 1993 to 2016. We observed the development of achievements in particular jumping disciplines and then compared them with top achievements in the world during this time period. Methods: We observed and compared jumpers in disciplines of long jump, triple jump, high jump and pole-jump. We chose the 12 best jumpers from each discipline for each year. To have better clarity and more accurate analysis of data we worked then with group of best achievements, then with group of the average for top three, top six and top twelve achievements. We used basic statistical characteristics as the arithmetic average, frequency and standard deviation for the purpose of processing the results. Results: The best achievements of jumpers were unaffected by whether or not a top event took place in that year. To be in the group of top 12 achievements (CZ) it was necessary to jump in a long jump about 759 cm for men and about 616 cm for women. In triple jump it was for men at least 15,35 m and 12,65 m for women. In pole-jump men should reach about 5,2 m and...
Technique variability of athletic discipline old school athletes
Hykeš, Radek ; Vindušková, Jitka (advisor) ; Červinka, Pavel (referee)
Title Technique variability of athletic discipline old school athletes Objectives The aim of the work was to find out how and to what extent the technical variability of the athletic disciplines in the category of the older stage in the execution from the place or from the short start, compared to the whole acceleration version, thus at a higher speed. Methods The thesis was conceived as a theoretical-empirical survey where quantitative and qualitative assessment of the level of fitness and technical readiness of probands was used Results The best rating, and hence the high level of variability, has tested No. 5, which has reached 0.71, pointing to excellent discipline technique even at higher speeds. This is followed by Test No. 4, which has reached 0.40. Testing shows that these two tests are at the same time the best in motor tests where they achieve above-average results, so we can state that the one who is at a higher level of fitness is better able to handle athletic disciplines and adds more speed. The test value 6 also reached the value of 0.20, which also means better technical performance at higher speed. The other tests were always worse in the higher-speed version, worst-tested 3, which deteriorated by 0.72. The other tests worsened by about 0.5. Key words Athletics, older school,...
