Title: The comparison of time utilization and skills of ice-hockey players during the competition on the small areas and on the whole skating ring (Pee-Wee). Goal: Based on time utilization find out frequency of skills during the game. What is the best combination ice surface with amount of youth hockey players during an ice-hockey game. Methodics: File for research: 32 video recordings from ice-hockey competition of Pee-Wee age children on skating rings of three different sizes. Three players with different level of abilities were chosen from every competition. The result of the evaluation is the total amount ice time during the game, time players spent carrying the puck and skills as shooting, passing. Statistic methods: A direct method of observing was used during the evaluation of individual players. To generalize the results an analysis of variance (ANOVA) was used. Conclusion: Research discoreved that the best variation for time utilization is L/N [long/ narrow] surface. According to results, the best combination to practice shooting and passing is the smallest variation, game on 1/3 of full sheet. Key words: ice hockey, youth age, time utilization, active ice time, skills, shooting, passing

Rulík, Adam ; Perič, Tomáš (advisor) ; Slavíček, Tobiáš (referee)
Title: Current trends in the long-term concept of sports training with a focus on youth categories on the example of a selected sport Objectives: Investigate what ice hockey experts consider to be trends in youth ice hockey training and what they find to be significant areas of training. Compare said experts' practical knowledge to theory. Find inner connections among individual areas of training which are considered important by experts. Methods: qualitative research - qualitative interviews with experts (open debate, guided interview) Results: The research was conducted in the form of two types of interviews with 11 experts taking part. Three experts underwent the interview of the type I. As a result of these interviews, 15 important areas of training were found, among which 12 inner connections were found (of which 2 were bidirectional). The interviews of type II brought insights of eight experts on the topic of important areas. For example, the optimal age x =12,7 for the commencement of higher intensity training was found, as well as the ratio x =42/58% for the specific/non- specific load during off ice training. Similarly, inner connections were found in this type of interview, 21 in total. The comparison of the literature and the theory built upon the type II interviews resulted in a...

The importance of long-term physical activity for the level of fitness of children of younger school age (on the example of Olympic all-around)
Foltysová, Sabina ; Perič, Tomáš (advisor) ; Peřinová, Radka (referee)
Title: The importance of prolonged physical activity for the fitness level of younger school- age children (on the example of Olympic all-around). Objectives: The aim of this paper is to investigate, using the Olympic Diploma competition as an example, whether regular participation in the competition has an effect on higher fitness levels in younger school-age children. Methods: Descriptive statistics (arithmetic mean and standard deviation) and data analysis (ANOVA method) were used to determine the difference of long-term physical activity on fitness level and to compare these results between children. Results: The theoretical part defines human development, especially younger school age, and also the development of physical abilities. It also describes motor tests, the history of testing and research on motor fitness testing in the Czech Republic and worldwide. The results compiled in this thesis were provided by the organisers of the Sazka Olympic multi-sport event and only lower primary school children aged 6 - 11 years were assessed. The arithmetic mean and standard deviation were calculated and the difference of long-term physical activity for the fitness level of the children was also calculated using data analysis (ANOVA method). The study population comprised a total of 95,430 children...
Impact of load on cognitive level in decision-making processes in selected sport game
Soukup, Vojtěch ; Perič, Tomáš (advisor) ; Kaplan, Aleš (referee)
Title: The influence of physical load on the level of cognition and decision-making processes in a selected sports game Objectives: The aim of this thesis is to find out level of changes in cognition and decision-making processes after physical load.and how level of these changes differ between more and less skilled athletes. Methods: Result evaluation was done via descriptive statistics (average result of research group, standard deviation) and t-test paired two sample for means. Results: Research group was made of 18 probands (floorball players), whose ages were between eighteen and twenty seven years. All probands performed diagnostics in virtual reality consisting of five skill tests. First diagnostics was performed before physical load and second diagnostics after physical load. The physical load took the form of the vita maxima spiroergometric test. In case of avarage changes in cognitive functions after physical load, players accomplished following outcomes: recognition time (ms) -2.1±235.8 reaction time (ms) -87.7±148.1, release time (ms) 40.5±218.9, player tracking (%) 8.7±17.3. In case of avarage changes in cognitive functions after physical load due to skill level of players, national team players accomplished following outcomes: recognition time (ms) -125.1±252, reaction time (ms)...

Pavlovičová, Klára ; Perič, Tomáš (advisor) ; Prajerová, Květa (referee)
Title: Non-specific preparation of figure skaters (5-14 years of age) during preparation period Purpose of paper: In the diploma paper I am going to focus on the issue of non-specific preparation of figure skaters. I would like to point out the importance of establishing a wide basis of agility abilities in children (from the ages of 5 to 14) during training season. The purpose of this work is to create a model of non-specific preparation of children, which emphasizes the main non-specific agility abilities for later peak performance training of figure skaters. These include balance, coordination, flexibility, endurance, speed, and strength. These qualifications determine the measure of exact execution of specific elements on the ice (jumps, step variations, pirouettes, and spirals). It is clear that these agility abilities are interconnected in a direct and indirect way. By creating a coherent training approach, these connections can be discovered, named, and included in the preparation structure. The methods: The method of literature research was utilized for this work. The result: The result should be a proposal of a coherent training approach of non-specific preparation of figure skaters (from the ages of 5 to 14) during training season. KEY WORDS: Figure skating, preparation structure:...
