Vaněk, Jiří ; Molnár, Zdeněk (advisor) ; Brdek, Vladimir (referee)
The subject of the Bachelor's thesis is "The possibilities of usage of social networks for the support of entrepreneurship". This research introduces characteristics of various types of social networks from the viewpoint of their usage in order to increase the competitiveness of organizations. The aim is to analyze the current situation, possibilities and conditions of usage of the social networks in the Czech Republic. The study is divided into two parts, theoretical and practical. The first part concentrates on the introduction of various types of social networks. In addition, it also includes the history, development and possibilities of usage of the social networks in practice. In the practical part of this work the current situa-tion of Zentity s.r.o. is analyzed concerning the social networks in comparison with its main competitors in the industry. This thesis is beneficial by its comparison of usage of social networks of Zentity s.r.o. against its competitors and by suggestions of more effective presentation of the firm on the social networks.
Ethics on the Internet (Etiquette)
Malá, Kateřina ; Sigmund, Tomáš (advisor) ; Vaněk, Jiří (referee)
This thesis addresses the issue of ethics on the Internet. The first part focuses on a brief history of the development of ethics and ethical principles used even today. The second part is devoted to information ethics, which is an integral part of the Internet, since it deals with the creation, dissemination, transformation, storage, search, use and organization of information, and also deals with specific standards, codes and principles that were created either specifically for the Internet or are now an integral part. The third part is devoted to valid Czech and European legislation in the field of information work in various media, including on the Internet. The final section is devoted to the evaluation of the current situation of ethics on the Internet, where they described the problems with which we meet today. Such problems are violations of copyright law, whether piracy or plagiarism, threats associated with Internet communications, kyberstalking, cyberbullying, kybergrooming or activity on social networks. In addition, problem situations are mentioned online trading, which are currently controlled by many associations, consumer protection or influence of the media and advertisements, and incessant problem of censorship. The final part is also added to the survey, which was created speficically for this work and proposal of possible solutions to improve the current situation.
The attempt to solve dilemmas in the field of information ethics
Suntychová, Jana ; Sigmund, Tomáš (advisor) ; Vaněk, Jiří (referee)
This work is focused on information ethics dilemmas and outlining their solutions. The first part describes the situations with respekt to a question if there is a need of new ethical theories or if the theory of general ethics is sufficient. It is followed by the rest of the work where the author tries to show if dilemmas are solvable by selected general ethical theories. The work focuses on two areas of ethical problems, the right to information and the right to privacy. Selected theories include teleology, deontology and ethics of responsibility. The description of these theories is followed by their application on selected cases where there are described not only the ethical findings but also the law and the other information that is relevant to these cases.
Creativity and its research
Kušičková, Lucie ; Pstružina, Karel (advisor) ; Vaněk, Jiří (referee)
The thesis deals with the topic of creativity, which is considered to be an integral part of human life and is often perceived as one of the major prerequisites of successful individuals on both professional and personal levels. The first few chapters are dedicated to human creativity from a theoretical point of view. They summarize all up-to-date knowledge concerning this topic and focus on research in this area. This later became the basis of my own research project I am presenting in this work. The following chapters are directly dedicated to the executed research project, which is analyzed in terms of its structure. The area of research and its goals are specified and introduced here. I then characterize the involved respondents, the proposed methodology and explain which feature or area of creativity they deal with. I then further explain the evaluation method of the collected data. As part of the output evaluation I pointed out interesting facts obtained through the research and formulated a hypothesis, which observes a certain tendency to creativity in relation to the chosen field of study.
Taxes of business entites
Vaněk, Jan ; Filipová, Vladimíra (advisor) ; Drozen, František (referee)
In the first part of my Bachelor thesis I describe taxes which influence business entities in the Czech Republic. In the second one I deal with the development of the Czech tax system from the business entities' point of view and with the comparison of the tax burden of business entities in the Czech Republic and in other states around the world.
Some Duties of Civil Service Bodies in the Field of Economic Measures for Crisis States, in Favour of Inhabitants.
VANĚK, Josef
A society should work on the basis of dividing activities among individuals so that they can complement each other and master everything as a whole. We can see such a task division in the field of economic measures for crisis states among civil service bodies and local authorities. Each crisis state is able to check the system, to prove rightness of the steps on the one hand and warn of possible imperfections on the other. The first part of my Bachelor´s work is aimed at presenting basic tools of public administration and civil service bodies in the field of economic measures which could be used in the state of emergency. Other parts are focused on the review of legislative tools tried and tested in the crisis states. To get the data about public awareness of crisis management in a locality, anonymous questionnaires were used. There were mostly villages affected by the 2009 local floods in the administrative area of České Budějovice with up to 2000 inhabitants surveyed. The questionnaires consisted of three parts. The first part analysed the respondents, the second presented the respondent awareness of crisis management and the the third contained questions concerning personal experience with crisis management. The research findings were processed and arranged in graphs and subsequently used in discussion and conclusion.
Characterization of multicrystalline solar cells with LBIC method in different wavelength
Fořt, Tomáš ; Jandová, K. ; Vaněk, J. ; Boušek, J.
For the determination of defects in the solar cells was used a method LBIC (Light Beam Induced Current). We use LED light source with various wavelengths to reveal the different types of defects. Using multiple wavelengths enables detecting defects in different depths. Surface defects can be observed in shorter wavelengths (400nm and 470nm). The junction region is well observed at wavelengths close to 525nm. Defects in the base material are visible using the light at a wavelength of 630nm or 890nm.
Nízkofrekvenční šum a V-A charakteristiky kontinuálních GaSb laserových diod pro 2.3µm
Vaněk, J. ; Brzokoupil, V. ; Chobola, Z. ; Hulicius, Eduard ; Šimeček, Tomislav
Transport and noise characteristic of forward biased 2.3 µm CW GaSb laser diodes were measured in order to evaluate new technology. From the measurement results it follows that noise spectral density related to defects is of 1/f type and its magnitude was found to be proportional to the square of DC forward current at low injection levels
Air freight of dangerous goods
Janečková, Petra ; Sato, Alexej (advisor) ; Vaněk, Jaroslav (referee)
The aim of my bachelor's thesis was to describe the problem of air freight of dangerous goods. In the first half I deal with theoretical knowledge. I describe the development of air freight and development of international conventions in the air traffic, I compare the conventions of DGR shipping with single transport modes. I mention the most important international organisations concerned with the air freight of DGR. In the second half I tried to describe the practical knowledge. I relate the general requirements for DGR shipping, division of DGR into nine classes of dangerousness. I mention the documents, that are necessary to DGR shipping and I describe what the goods tariff TACT is. In conclusion of my work I tried to analyse the company Menzies Aviation Ltd, which occupies the fundamental position in air freight transport in the Czech Republic.
