Design installation of motors ROTAX for aircraft SKYLEADER 400
Rakušan, Miroslav ; Katrňák, Tomáš (referee) ; Mališ, Michal (advisor)
The bacheloir thesis is focused to calculation forces in engine mount, design and construction of engine mount for engines Rotax 912iS and 914UL, which will be instalated to ultralight plane Skyleader 400. In the first part is short search about planes, which use the engines. Then the engine mount is calculate according to rule UL2-I.part. After the MKP analysis is calculation of screws, which hold the engine mount onto the firewall. In the end of the thesis is installation both of engines in the nose of the plane and engine mount test draft according to rule UL2-I.part.

Wing system design of competition aircraft
Mahdal, Vít ; Hájek, Tomáš (referee) ; Katrňák, Tomáš (advisor)
This bachelor’s thesis deals with the wing system design of competition aircraft. The thesis consists of five main parts. The first part is an introduction to the competition – Air Cargo Challenge, and the mission of UAV. The second part details the compilation of flight envelope and loads acting on the aircraft. Part three describes stress analysis of the old fabric method of wing construction. Part four of the thesis gives suggestions of a new wing system design, and its stress analysis. The final part of this bachelor’s thesis describes the advantages and disadvantages of the new system design, and compares them to the old version.

Analysis of a Sandwich panel under compressive loading
Kopylov, Gleb ; Katrňák, Tomáš (referee) ; Mališ, Michal (advisor)
Hlavným cieľom tejto bakalárskej práce bolo navrhnúť vhodnú simulačnú metódu pre rovinnú šmykovú skúšku. Boli popísané rôzne typy porúch kompozitových panelov a rôzne prístupy k šmykovým skúškam.

Installation of floats for the M-4Irbis airplane
Heczko, Nikodem ; Katrňák, Tomáš (referee) ; Palička, Radek (advisor)
This master’s thesis deals with the design of installation of floats for the M-4 Irbis airplane and it’s modification in aim to provide water level landing. Part of this thesis is selection of geometry of floats, weight analysis of the modified version and stress analysis of structural elements. The aim was to perform modification on a float plane which will have a minimal impact on the airframe and to meet the requirements of Certification Specification ASTM F2245 and CS-VLA. In conclusion, the hydrodynamic and aerodynamic characteristics including flight performance is determined. Final part is devoted to the design of the rudder for directional control of the floats.

Design of VUT200 TwinCobra landing gear
Novák, Josef ; Horák, Marek (referee) ; Katrňák, Tomáš (advisor)
The goal of following master thesis is to design variety of configuration and retraction options of VUT200 TwinCobra landing gear. For each option are a wheel base and a gauge set up by possibility of main landing gear retraction. Next, CS 23 demands and stress analysis are followed. There is a view of twin engine aircraft landing gear disclosed as well.
