Proposal and implementation of a system supporting selected processes of a specific organisation

This thesis concerns a proposal and implementation of a system supporting selected processes of a specific organisation. The company for which the application will be created is project PaintBall. Paintball is one of the projects of a civic association called Alternativa II. The system should mainly work as a POS application, but also as a reservation system and module for records of storage supplies. The aim is to make the selected processes of the company automated and more efficient. The contents are divided into three parts. The first chapter describes present state of company and also analyses the processes. The second part introduces a proposal of the system, taking into account the requirements of the employees of the company and also the hardware and software components. The third part deals with the development and deployment of the application, including all other relevant phases of the process.
The analysis of information sources and technologies in the zoological garden

This bachelor's thesis is focused on the ways of informing visitors, used information sources and technologies at the Prague Zoo. The thesis is divided into six chapters. The first chapter is devoted to the introduction. The second chapter explains terms associated with informing. The third chapter introduces organization the Prague Zoo. The fourth chapter describes specific information sources and technologies at the Prague Zoo. The fifth chapter contains an analysis of data obtained from survey of zoo visitors. In the sixth chapter is the conclusion. Objective of this thesis is to present the ways of infoming visitors of the Prague Zoo that are supported by the use of various information sources. Moreover the aim is to analyze the preferences and opinions of zoo visitors in terms of use information sources and technologies in survey.

This work is supposed to highlight some of the problems of today's IT generation, in which the most important thing is the internet and iformations on it. For this purpose, we will use quantitative and qualitative methods. We realize not only the transformation of traditional relationships on the Internet, but also a change in basic human activities. While questioning the influence of virtual reality/surroundings, we encounter several problems, such as multitasking, working on multiple processes at once, but neither of them gets our full concentration. Then there is the problem of student's focus on topic at hand, its processing and outcome interpretation. For our purposes is the work divided into four parts.
Difficulties with sharing knowledge using ICT tools

The Bachelor thesis focuses on the role of Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) in the process of sharing knowledge in school environment. The main objectives of the work are identifying difficulties that were caused during the process of sharing knowledge and proposing recommendations how to avoid them. The targets of the thesis are achieved by studying information sources, interviewing students and discharging participant observation. The thesis consists of several parts. The theoretical part aims to define terms like data, information and mainly knowledge. Sharing, as an activity through which knowledge is exchanged among people, is reflected from different points of view, including knowledge management, school environment, ICT perspectives. Afterwards, the thesis provides a description of ICT tools that are heavily used for knowledge sharing by students. Tools were also selected on the basis of interviews, which is another important part of the work. Research shows that main difficulties in sharing knowledge with ICT lie in quality of knowledge which is just shared. Therefore, suggested recommendations mainly relate to these issues. Primary purpose of the thesis is to provide guidance to students how to effectively share knowledge with the aid of ICT tools.
Bitcoin point-of-sale terminal software development

The bachelor thesis describes the software development process of a fully working system of Bitcoin point-of-sale terminals for retail merchants, enabling them to start accepting this cryptocurrency as a means of payment. Author compares his work with existing solutions and explains the necessary background theory of the underlying technologies and certain peculiarities stemming from them. In the following chapters of the thesis, this foundation is used to actually implement and describe the final working solution, which is targeting the Java language platform, Android operating system and Spring web application framework.

The practical part analyses various marketing activities of online retailers. The entire practical part focuses on the competition in the field of furniture retail. The primary aim of the thesis is to analyse selected online retailers and use the results as a basis for proposing recommendations for improvements in business strategy The thesis is designed to contribute by presenting recommendations for improvements in Internet marketing strategies of selected online retailers in a specific field of e-commerce.

The thesis is divided into three parts: introduction to the topic of intelligence agencies, especially those of the United States, analysis of their use of information technology and relation of the field of informatics to the field of international relations. The aim of the thesis is to define the place of intelligence agencies and their information technology in international relations and to identify another fields where informatics and international relations are interconnected.
Methods of internal comunication from the point of view of the generation Y

This diploma thesis deals with the matter of internal communication methods from the point of view of today's young generation, so called generation Y. It aims on the enterprise social networks. The thesis is divided into the two common parts: the theory and the research. In the theoretical part there is a brief introduction into the field of internal communication; and the communication methods are put into the process of Communication. Further the specific methods for internal communication are introduced. The segment of enterprise social networks as a new way within the internal communication is introduced further mote. The research is connected to the theoretical part and focuses on the position of the generation Y to their potential usage of enterprise social media in internal communication within a certain company. This research is in compliance with the proposed strategy.

Thesis deals with startup companies and their development methodology. The main aim is to present a model of startup company development. Within the theoretical part successful and unsuccessful businesses are analyzed and selected approaches to the development of startup companies are explained. In practical part, based on the findings a model for startup company development is proposed.
