Contemporary textile art. Artwork of Sheila Hicks as Inspiration for Art Education

The first part of the thesis has the character of an exploratory probe, which is looking for the form and situation of textile art at present. It is based mainly interviews of experts in the field of textile art and experiences of the visited exhibitions. Part of this thesis is also personal creation, based on textile experiments. From these findings there was created a pivotal part in the form of a didactic project, inspired in particular by the creation of Sheila Hicks. Results and benefits of the work is to outline the current situation of textile art in our country and verified in a practical set of teaching practices focused mainly on the development of sensory sensitivity. The didactic methods are supplemented by reflections and extending or innovate variant sof lesson plans in Art Education.

Professional art work competencies of teachers at MS Chodov

Following my Bachelor's Project the goal of this Thesis is to examine more deeply the contradiction between the current theory and didactics of the Art Education and the educational reality of the pre-school education. The essence of this Thesis is an evaluation research concerning the current competence conditions of individual educationalists of the particular nursery. The data collection methods triangulation including observation, unstructured interview and photo documentation of art works allows to grasp the given issue of individual views integration. My proposals and recommendations in order to improve the given practice and achieve a further professional development of the educationalists are based on this complex analysis.

Visual and verbal expression of preschoolers

The subject of the thesis is a research investigation aimed at comparing the visual and verbal expression of children, which is exhibit striking differences in the achieved level of these two expressions, and evaluation criteria of kindergarten teachers in the assessment of both expressions. The aim of the thesis is based on research findings to contribute to the deepening of the professional competencies of teachers in kindergartens in solving pedagogical problems in children with a significant mismatch between the actual achieved level of visual and verbal expression. The research problem is expressed by the research questions aimed at pre-schoolers and the kindergarten school teachers . The research uses mainly qualitative research, supplemented in some parts by quantitative research. In the preliminary investigations were used content analysis of text, in the context of my research are included the methods of observation, interviews, analysis of children's drawings, narratives . The expected outcome of the thesis is the preparation of documents intended for kindergarten teachers, allowing them to deepen their knowledge of the problem. Still life

The bachelor thesis deals with meaning of objects in our society. This thesis is divided into three parts - practical, didactic and pictorial part. The theoretical part examines an ordinary and necessary subject, subject as a bearer of meaning and a subject as a protective and ritual thing. I am simultaneously reffering to consumerism and sensitive understanding of the subject as a value in today's society. I compare the tools of the past with a mobile phone. The teoretical part is followed by the didactic part, which is composed of three artistic lectures I have given. Me and children discussed the following topics: Painted still life, Shop window and The box with my stuff. The pictorial part focuses on everyday objects. I have created the cycle of twelve still lifes. Each still life coresponds to one particular person, who is close to me, and symbolize their important things.

Artistic-Pedagogical Interpretation of Texts in Curricular Documents in Different Language Areas

Annotation: The contents and the gravity point of dissertation work is the comparison of art educational goals, anchored in the Frame Educational Program of art educational goals, anchored in the Frame Educational Program for Elementary Education and Gymnasiums in the Czech Republic and in the Educational Syllabus for eight year's gymnasiums in Bavaria. Comparing the different curricular document was realized on the basis of operationalizing observed categories of educational goals in field competencies. The possibilities of realizing anticipated educational goals were consequently verified by field research and illustrated on the basis of gained data and authentic student's art works. The indispensable prerequisite how to realize the mentioned research was the description of art educational system in Germany, the original translation work in the field of art theory and its pedagogical reflection in the 2nd half of the 20th and 21st century.
