Use of drama as a method with a focus on health promotion at the second stage of primary school

Thesis is focused on using drama education as a method for teaching health education during second stage of an elementary school. It specifically focuses on support of health during second stage of an elementary school. The goals of drama education and its influence on pupil's socialization are set in the thesis. Emphasis is put on role play as a basic method of drama education. The aim of the thesis is to find out if teachers of health education for second stage of an elementary school use drama methods, what topics, and their sources. Using questionnaires and interviews led to finding out that teachers use drama methods in topics that are not very sensitive for pupils. It also led to finding out that there are no handbooks focused on topics of health education by using drama methods available for teachers. A set of seven topics is a part of the thesis. It contains themes for health education with role play.
Drinking regime as a part of a children and teenagers healthy lifestyle

This bachelor thesis examines drinking regime of elementary school pupils in Chrast, a small town in the Chrudim region. The paper is divided into the theoretical and practical part. The theoretical part highlights the importance of water in the human body. It also deals with the nutrients and other usual drinks ingredients. Firstly, various kinds of drinks are described as well as their effect on the human body. Fruit, vegetables and soup, partly counted into drinking regime, are also dealt with. Secondly, the nutritional recommendations concerning the drinking regime within younger school age children, teenagers as well as children with nutritional resctrictions are examined. This part also deals with the drinks which children prefer, examining the reasons of their choice. The practical part is focused on the research which was applied with the pupils and the teachers of the Chrast elementary school. The data were gained through a questionnaire survey. The survey examines the main principles of drinking regime within the pupils, their opinions and ideas. It also monitors the teachers view of the proper and healthy drinking regime of their pupils. Relationships of students of selected secondary schools to certain aspects of lifestyle

This thesis is focused on finding relations and attitudes of students of selected secondary schools on the topic of proper nutrition, physical activities and use of addictive substances. The theoretical part contains basic knowledge of the topics. The practical part of the thesis describes and evaluates the questionnaire survey, which was carried out at selected secondary schools. A whole-school project was designed to improve the identified shortcomings.
Integration opportunities of Health and Physical education in the curriculum of junior high schools

The thesis is focused on integration of Health and Physical education in the junior high school curriculum.The main objective is to find out the teachers' experiences and their opinions on the Health and PT education . And on the basis of the obtain information design, in line with the expected outcomes of the Framework of Educational Program, propose a training program for improving the Health and PT class education. In the theoretical part was analysed the common outputs and goals from the Educational Program for Basic Education updated in 2016 for these groups. Was also describes the psychomotor development of student at junior high schools based on science studiies. It identifies the way in which teachers in the field of didactics cooperate, and whether this cooperation is supported by the current curriculum. The practical part documents the course and results of qualitative research in schools with a low number of pupils and teachers in Vlašim school district. Thesis reveals the most common problems associated with teaching of Health education class, methods how teachers cooperationand, and shows the importance of teaching Health and PT education from the perspective of the teachers. The output of this thesis is make proposal of the Educational program which will link Health and PT.
