Bases of establishing and maintaing authority in education from the perspective of student teachers in the international context
Šaroch, Jaroslav ; Bendl, Stanislav (advisor) ; Syřiště, Ivo (referee) ; Dvořáček, Jiří (referee)
The dissertation thesis deals with bases of establishing and maintaining authority in education from the perspective of student teachers in the international context. The thesis is divided into six chapters, the first three of which lay down its theoretical groundwork. In the first chapter the term authority is defined both generally and from the point of view of education, then it is classified and categorized, which is followed by an outline of possible dilemmas authority may cause in education. The second chapter charts both internal and external determinants of establishing and maintaining authority in education, i.e. it deals with the influence of teacher's personality and expertise, pupil, interaction of a teacher and a pupil, official pedagogical documents, as well as social and cultural factors. The theoretical part is concluded by the review of the contemporary research of authority in education. The fourth chapter presents the research question and characterizes bases of the selected research methodology - grounded theory. Also, it describes the research plan and utilized qualitative and quantitative research methods, which include free word associations, sentence completion, mind mapping, short written narratives, focus group, and adapted QTI. The chapter also concerns itself with...
The Development of Russian Anthroponyms and Processes of their Appellativisation in a Literary Text
Computer Terminology and Computer Slang in Russian and English
Experimental investigation of electromagnetic activity of living cells at millimeter waves
Jelínek, František ; Pokorný, Jiří ; Šaroch, Jaroslav
The direct detection of electric oscillations in biological cells can deliver strong evidence for Fröhlich's theory of coherent excitation in biological systems. A laboratory equipment fot the measurement of mm-waves interaction with yest cells is described.

Jelínek, František ; Pokorný, Jiří ; Šaroch, Jaroslav
The direct detection of electric oscillations in biological cells can deliver strong evidence for Fröhlich's theory of coherent excitation in biological systems. Some experimental observations of interaction of electromagnetic fields with living cells at mm waves published in literature are shortly reviewed. A laboratory equipment for the measurement of mm-waves interaction with yeast cells is described.
Electromagnetic field around yeast cells
Pokorný, Jiří ; Jelínek, František ; Šaroch, Jaroslav ; Hašek, Jiří ; Palán, B.
Electromagnetic field around synchronized cells of tubulin mutant tub2-401 of Saccharomyces cerevisiae was measured in the M phase of the cell cycle in the frequency range of 8-9 MHz. The measured electromagnetic activity is compared with the evolution of the mitotic spindle. The peaks of the electromagnetic activity seems to coincide with formation of the mitotic spindle, with binding of chromatids to kinetochore microtubules, with anaphase A, and with anaphase B.
