Use of mask in the Jacques Lecoq method

The theme of my thesis is the use of mask in the Jacques Lecoq method. The first part focuses on general principles of Lecoq's method, it's structure and content. The second part deals with the method in the context of 20th century French theatre. This part also concerns with some important connections regarding J. Lecoq's proffesional expierences with French theatre and his own work. In the last part, the attention is paid to a detailed study of particular types of masks which are used in the method. Finally, as a description of the way of work with these masks follows with a special focus on their meaning in actors' training.

Dramatic texts of Witold Gombrowicz (motives, life, context)

Polish novelist and dramatist Witold Gombrowicz (1904 - 1969) finished during his life a total of three plays: Yvonne, Princess of Burgundy (1936), The Wedding (1945), The Operette (1966). He is considered as a representant of absurd drama though his first play Yvonne, Princess of Burgundy was written already in 1935 and furthermore he did not declare his attachment to the aesthetics of absurd drama. In addition Gombrowicz was not a theatre lover in a common sense. According to his own words he did not appreciate theatre as a whole. Nevertheless his work is full of references to the principle of theatrality. Despite all the experiments on the fields of topics and language, the three Gombrowicz's plays maintain in principle the classical structure: dramas are locked up in three acts and regarding the formal aspects they are actually the traditional drama pieces, which can be read and played in the same way. "Aristotle's" three unities (the unity of action, the unity of place, the unity of time) are not followed, in this respect the closest link to Gombrowicz's plays leads to the romantic drama, Polish romantic drama in particular (where the time ambuguity is a characteristic feature). Contributions the understanding of the settlement structure in Bohemia during the Late Roman Period and the Migration Period. Contemporary stage of knowledge - questions and problems - evalution based on interregional relations

Broader revue of the problem of the settlement structure of the Czech basin in the Late Roman and Migration period raises a number of observations based on different methodologies and the angles of the view by which the issue can be seen the research on this period. In principle, these circuits can be divided into several thematic groups: 1) Topography of the settlements and grave grounds, 2) the chronological aspects of the settlements, 3) cultural development and inter-regional relations, 4) issues of cultural and biological continuity and discontinuity, 5) a description and determination of the finds, 6) the methodological problems of the settlements and grave grounds research, 7) application of natural sciences, 8) the problem of the economic base and economic strategies, 9) research of the technological features. This paper tried to concentrate the various aspects of settlement structure development with a much-needed comparison with similar situations in the neighboring areas of the wider Central Europe. Theatre fair

The thesis is focuses on "Theatre Fair" opened air cultural project which took place in the second half of nineteen eighties in Prague, where different art groups connected and integrated their performances. The goal is to introduce Theatre Fair and, concentrating specifically on theatre, examine how Theatre Fair participated in the new era of "non-concrete theatre" in The Czech Republic. There is a focus on the birth and structure of Theatre Fair, which is based on factual information. The text centres attention on each individual art group and its performances. It will bee seen that these performances are characterized by, and based on, historical theatrical inspiration. The thesis also addresses non-theatre areas such as music, visual arts and photography, which influenced the final shape of the project. It also reflects the activities that Theatre Fair engaged in on foreign tours. A considerable part of the thesis focuses on the characteristics of Theatre Fair and its theoretical basis. The project "Theatre Island", which followed the original Theatre Fair, is also considered in this thesis. In considerations of the distinctive visual art style of the project, a picture appendix is included in the thesis.

A violance in the medical departments and ways to solve the problem

Key words: physical force, verbal assault, aggression, patient, health workers, factors contributing to the violance at the workplace, measures to reduce the violance at the workplace We have been meeting the term violance more frequently during the last few years. There is no doubt that violance the crews emergency medical servis is a very serious problem with a possible hearth and, moreover, social and economic sequels. I focused on the problem of violance in the theoretical part of my work ( especially on types and possible risk factors of an cosequences of violance to the victim). Empirical research is based on analysis of the informing about attacked health workers of the ZZS HMP.

Simulation of I-V characteristic on photovoltaic modules

Tato práce se zabývá slunečním zářením, které je jedním z možných zdrojů obnovitelné energie. Hlavnímy body práce je seznámit se s problematikou fotovoltaiky. Sestrojení poloautomatizovaného měřícího pracoviště díky němuž obdržíme reálné I-U a P-U charakteristiky solárního panelu. Dalším bodem je sestrojení programu v programu Vee Pro 8.0, který tyto charakteristiky simuluje v programu. Cílem je zjistit charakteristické konstanty pro daný solární panel.

Mariusz Szczygieł's Gottland on Czech stages

This bachelor thesis deals with so far the only two Czech productions of Gottland based on a book of reportage of the same name written by a Polish journalist and writer Mariusz Szczygieł - the Czech premiere at the National Moravian-Silesian Theatre in Ostrava in 2011 and the later production at Švandovo Theatre in Prague. It focuses primarily on their analysis and compares different approaches to the dramatization of non-dramatic literature and by analysing dramaturgical concepts this thesis concentrates on the usage of the montage principle on stage.
The thesis also includes a brief introduction to the life and work of Mariusz Szczygieł and the tradition of Polish School of Reportage.

Energetical usage of phytomass for heating of buildings

The bachelor thesis deals with energetical usage of phytomass for heating of buildings. The issue of biomass and energy crops were described based on available literature. The main objective was to compare Miscanthus, Phalaris arundinacea and Festuca arundinacea in terms of biomass yield, dry matter yield and the heat of combustion. Four wood pellet machines were studied in terms of energy consumption and the rate of pellet production. It was found that the annual costs of production of the required quantity of pellets (including costs of planting) for a model house built by current technologies were different by individual plants. The costs of heating using pellets of Phalaris arundinacea were 16 349 CZK per year, using Miscanthus 13 519 CZK per year and using Festuca arundinacea 9 749 CZK per year. It was concluded that to use the pellets made of Festuca arundinacea is the most advantageous possibility of heating.

Specific Elements of the Polish Theatre of the New Millennium

The thesis is the pick of analysis and descriptions some of sets directed by Polish directors of
the last ten years. There are four capitols following different faces and changes of identity and
their theatre representation, that author considers significant for modern movement in Polish
drama theatre culture. Between analyzing fields are: sexual and social identity, space identity,
identity of human psychic and the identity of text, combined with destruction of theatre
canon. Individual faces of identity are observed from the analyzing position of theatre studies
as well as from social conditionality perspective, historical conditionality or changes in social
and art discourse. Between observed directors are creators of almost all generations and
stylistics: Jerzy Jarocki, Krystian Lupa, Krzysztof Warlikowski, Grzegorz Jarzyna, Paweł
Miśkiewicz, Wojciech Klemm, Jan Klata, Przemysław Wojcieszek, Michał Zadara and
Michał Borczuch.
