Education to reading through work with book in pre-school age

Baccalaureate work attends to problems of the relation of pre - school child to book. Theoretic part deals with reader's literacy, possibilities of activities of pre - school arrangements fuelling the reader's literacy of childern and complexity of activities supporting aesthetically development of child in pre - school age. In practical part was realized thematic oriented project built on arranged meetings with a fairy tale. The purpose was to create and strengthen the relation of child to book. In work are further presented results of controlled talks and singhtings, on whose base was analysed present - day (nowday's) reader's level of families of hereof sample. Professional competencies of nursery school teachers

The thesis deals with the professional competencies of teachers of nursery schools. The theoretical part focuses on contemporary education of nursery school teachers and its history in the Czech Republic with an emphasis on professional competencies. Besides defining the concept of professional competence and their various concepts. Czech education preschool teachers is contrasted with the situation in Europe. The main aim of the research part of the thesis is to describe the differences between differently educated teachers of kindergartens within the conceptualization of professional competencies. The investigation is specifically compared how teachers assess the importance of professional competence and adequacy of their development in the initial training. The survey includes pilot study and private research. Pilot study includes data collection questionnaires and structured interviews for the four case studies with differently educated preschool teachers. Own research is realized in the form of questionnaires with different educated preschool teachers and structured interviews with experts on preschool education. The Transition of a Child between Nursery and Basic School

The historical and current explanations of the terms school maturity, school readiness and the key competences are specified in the theoretical part of the thesis. Then the historical development of the school system in the territory of our republic is concisely described. The thesis also deals with the contemporary legislation concerning the child's admission to the basic school. Furthermore, it is also aimed at registering the children for the first grade of the basic school and as well comparing continuity of pre-primary and primary education systems in the Czech Republic with some in other countries. The practical part of the thesis is focused on the view of the public and as well specialists on readiness of children for school in the period of transition to the framework educational programmes. Issues of the Nursery School Teaching Profession

The diploma work focuses on the subject of the high demands placed on the profession of nursery school teachers. The aim and meaning of the dissertation is to point out and prove how high these demands are. The theoretical part of the work explains the terms profession, teaching profession and the high demands placed on the work of a teacher through the variegated activities applied; and the changes that took place in this profession during the past development stages of society. It analyses the role the nursery school teacher plays in contemporary times due to the changes in society and legislation, which have brought even higher demands made on this profession. The research section contains evaluations of the high demands on the profession compiled by nursery teachers themselves. This part analyses the possibilities of further education to prepare the teachers for the new demands in practice. Possibility of Using Educational Diagnostics with Children who have been Suspended

The author of the paper used different methods of pedagogical research (the observation of children, the interview and the analyses) to discover the effectiveness of deferring the start of school attendance for one year, according to the success of individual children in a nursery school, but also with regards to their differences as a group. The research was conducted using a sample of 10 children, all with different reasons for their school attendance being deferred. It was proved, that children who had been deemed necessary by a psychologist found deferment of school attendance useful. The data obtained from this research can be used for individual education programs based on a child's particular problems. The beginning of school attendance is an important part of human life, therefore it is imperative that steps are taken to ensure that is as beneficial to the child as can be. Bachelor's degree project deals with parents and their pre-school children interactive activities' issues. Theoretical paragraph analyses current information about family itself inclusive the time spent together. Objective of the practical part is to discover (find out) how much time do the above mentioned parents dedicate to their pre-school kids.
