Modelling of professional competences
Horák, Josef ; Novák, Daniel (advisor) ; Hudec, Lubomír (referee) ; Friedmann, Zdeněk (referee)
This dissertation presents the view of the place and mission of the secondary vocational education with apprenticeship certificate in a wider educational context of the knowledge society. It includes the implementation of the pragmatic issues of philosophy in educational activities including a new paradigmum of the web environment and theories of active teaching together with exposure to certain problems and trends of current pedagogy. It presents the view of the object of education (e.g. a pupil) in terms of creating of professional competences through didactic technology of modelling in apprenticeship of a metalworker and of teaching roles of educators (teachers of vocational and general education courses, teachers of vocational training, educators) in this type of formal education. The dissertation provides a stint of opinions, viewpoints and answers to many particular questions of the subject and it uses not only professional works of our authors but also of renowned foreign experts in this field. The dissertation thesis offers some trends and methodological approaches that can support and develop the educational creativity of teachers and students activity as well. Electronic Media in Professional Education
Houšková, Radomíra ; Novák, Daniel (advisor) ; Švejda, Gabriel (referee) ; Zlámal, Jiří (referee)
SUMMARY: The objective of this dissertation is to map, analyse and assess the role of modern information and communication technologies in the field of media education within the initial training and lifelong professional education provided by the police training colleges in the Czech Republic. Media literacy is a part of core competency of each individual in the current societal epoch, which is defined by the communication explosion. The issues of media education are pursued by media pedagogy. The work submitted analyses the scope of media education elements within the individual teaching subjects which are parts of police educational programmes approved by the Police Presidium of the Czech Republic. The research part of the thesis focuses on assessing the media literacy level of Czech police officers. The method of questionnaire investigation of the students of the initial professional training course provided by the police training colleges in the Czech Republic was used for the purpose of the research investigation. Subsequent relevant information was obtained through an unstructured interview with a senior official of the Police Presidium of the Czech Republic. The outcome of the dissertation is characterised by the detailed statistical description of the acquired data and the concluding evaluation of...

Testing the postural stabilization of the movement system and evaluating the dysfunction of the postural cybernetic of the movement system by a new method postural somatooscillography Abstract: Introduction: For the objectification of the structural damages in the musculoskeletal system there are many research methods and imaging techniques. For the investigation of the stabilization of the locomotion system a simple, reliable method for the clinical and instrumental evaluation of the pain-body is missing so far. These methods probably would include the cause of the dysfunction of the stabilizing mechanisms in vertically integrated persons. Therefore I introduce a Postural Somatooscillography in this work, which is a new kind of posturography on a Posturomed surface that can be unstable in a metered way. Second, a new technique of "provocation test" (Step/Stand) is introduced here. In this test, standardized claims to the increased postural stability and so on the nature of the cooperation of the intersegmental muscles and the superficial polysegmental muscles are made evident. Either caused by a good segmental stabilizing a good economic posture, without pain, or non- economic activation of polysegmental muscles caused postural related pain in these congested superficial muscles. Objectives: My aim is the...
Homoeostasis of a Person from the Viewpoint of Cybernetics and Selected Simulated Themes in Education
Jsou zde probírány základy kybernetických metod a postupů, charakteristika živých soustav, vybrané fyziologické regulace lidského organismu, principy modelování a simulace biologických systémů, některé další mezipředmětové vztahy a vybrané didaktické aspekty řešené problematiky.
Magnetic resonance imaging of the respiratory and postural function of the diaphragm
Rychnovský, Tomáš ; Kučera, Miroslav (advisor) ; Smolíková, Libuše (referee) ; Novák, Daniel (referee)
Objective: The goal of the thesis was to objectify changes of the diaphragm motion and shape in a different tasks using dynamic MRI in volunteers with pathological structural finding of the spine and the control group. Methods: Two groups of volunteers were made, those without pathological finding (n=16) and with structural pathological finding of the spine (n=17). We analyzed diaphragm function in three different tasks in all the volunteers during 1) primary breathing, 2) breathing in the course of lower extremities flexion against resistance and 3) holding the breath in the course of lower extremities flexion against resistance. Diaphragm activity was analyzed using static a dynamic parameters. For the first time ever was used postural and respiratory trace, which were separated from dynamic MRI recording. The thesis analyses frequency and amplitude of the respiratory and postural activity (independent on breathing) and their relationship. Furthermore the thesis evaluates breathe in and breathe out rotation, diaphragm excursion magnitude, inclination of the diaphragm, its height in thorax and also diaphragm motion within its different portion. Results: Diaphragm respiratory and postural changes are slower, bigger in size and better balanced in volunteers group without pathological spinal finding....
Project and problem method and their application at technical education at basic schools
Novotný, Jan ; Křenek, Milan (advisor) ; Novák, Daniel (referee) ; Kropáč, Jiří (referee)
This diploma work present how to use project and problem method practically in preparing students of basic of technology. It shows how to increase activity and productivity of students by right focus of the problem. The aims of the work are: - to map starting points which may result advantage of project and problem methods as a means of effective technical education - to verify the supposition that these methods also positively influence the pupils' attitudes and relation to taught technical subject and to the process of education itself. - supposing the usage of such methods deals to increasing of pupils' creativity The pre-set hypothesis have been verified by means of the research carried out at the basic schools in the subject "Basic of Technology" and the obtained results are presented in this work. Cooperation of telecommunication and information transmission systems
Novák, Daniel ; Vychodil, Petr (referee) ; Škorpil, Vladislav (advisor)
Some telecommunication systems are theoretically analyzed in this thesis. Basic types of digital modulations are also analyzed here and applying them to practice. In the implementation part of the thesis are realized three laboratory tasks addressing to modulations issue, coding and data transfer in the SONET network. Tasks are simulated by EMONA TutorTIMS. software. In appendix are described functions and parameters of used modules.
