Personnel marketing at Higher Education Institutions

The diploma thesis "Personnel Marketing at Higher Education Institutions" deals, in its theoretical part, with the description of personnel marketing, its definition and meaning. The first chapter of the theoretical part describes its division into external and internal personnel marketing. The second chapter focuses on the selected activities of external personnel marketing at higher education institutions, building a school image and using social networks to recruit new workers. The third chapter describes selected activities of internal personnel marketing, namely internal communication, organizational culture and development and education of staff. In the research part, the questionnaire survey explores the use of personnel marketing at higher education institutions, supplemented by an analysis of the publication of vacancies on the websites of aforementioned institutions. On the basis of the results of the investigations, at the end of the thesis, proposals and recommendations for improvement of personnel marketing are provided. The aim of the diploma thesis is to describe the applicability of personnel marketing at higher education institutions through its selected activities. Mentoring in a period of professional adaptation of teachers in the secondary schools

The thesis is focused on the process of mentoring and its application in the process of professional adaptation of teachers in secondary schools. The aim of the work is based on a literature review of available literature and the results of the research to describe and analyze the process of mentoring in a period of professional adaptation of secondary school teachers. In the theoretical part are explained the basic concepts related to the topic, are described the process of adaptation of teachers, characteristic of mentoring, role of mentor, mentoring relationship, further characteristic of mentor, forms, strategies, risks and benefits of mentoring. In the empirical part are described the implementation and results of quantitative research by the semistructured interview with the directors of the secondary schools, which focused on the way, how the process of mentoring in a period of professional adaptation of teachers in the secondary schools works and what specific ways of support are in the process of mentoring in a period of professional adaptation of teachers in the secondary school applied. The results of the research are useful for recommendations for the creator of the educational system. Intergenerational programs in the practice of educational institutions

The thesis is focused on the possibilities in the management of the intergenerational programmes. The aim of the thesis is to analyze the issue of intergenerational learning from the point of view of the management of educational institutions and to create a proposal of methodology for intergenerational programs management. The first part discusses the management in general, educational management and the characterization and classification of educational institutions and the scope of non-profit organizations. It also deals with lifelong learning and defines intergenerational learning as one of its forms. It deals with the categorization of intergenerational learning and the definition of its linkage in formal, non-formal and informal learning. The work defines the concept of age management, describes its implementation in practice and focuses on the topic of intergenerational programs, their specification, categorization and definition of their benefits and risks. Development of soft skills trainers competencies: creating educational concepts

This thesis is devoted to the theme of the development of competencies of soft skills trainers. A special attention has been paid to the various roles that a trainer has when performing his/her job and the related competencies that are essential for high-quality mastering of this profession. The focal points are the possibilities of development of trainers' teaching competence within formal and informal education that a trainer has during preparatory as well as further education of trainers with special emphasis on the methods that can be employed to achieve this education. The empiric part of this thesis maps the ways of acquiring trainer's competencies as they occur in practice, their connection with further professional development. At the same time it verifies the suitability of the methods that are used to develop competencies. Based on the analysis of information provided by the respondents and study of relevant literature, a methodological concept of education of a trainer has been developed.
Applying of personality traits of headteacher in area of leadership

Final thesis describes to what extent the current school practice puts attention to personality qualities of headteacher in area of leadership. The topic is based on the experience, knowledge and abilities that use the present headmasters of elementary schools in practice. The aim of the work and selected combined investigation using methods of "shadowing" of structured and unstructured interviews and a questionnaire survey was to describe the extent to which personal qualities headteacher of elementary schools appear in contemporary educational practice in area of leadership. In the theoretical part, the author focused on gathering information from a wide resource that can provide a wider range of these areas (psychology, leadership, self-management, self-esteem, etc.). These were mainly the vocational literature on leadership, human personality and competencies. An important contribution was a personal meeting and interview with Mr. Prof. PhDr. Z. Helusem, DrSc. (interview captured in the theoretical part), which anchored the personal qualities mentioned as one of the prerequisites for a successful life and being a human in personal and professional life. Barriers in Education of Mothers on Parental Leave

This Bachelor's thesis focuses on barriers in further education of mothers on parental leave. It aims to find what the specifics of these barriers are, as compared to the wider adult population. Mothers on parental leave are considered a specific group in the job market as well as in the field of education; therefore they need to be given special attention. The first part of the thesis defines further professional education as a part of lifelong education and introduces the surveys representing the base for my own survey, and also introduces some of the factors that influence the perceived barriers in education of mothers on parental leave. The detection of barriers in further education of mothers on parental leave was carried out in a quantitative survey. Leadership in specialists' interpretations and in opinions of Czech internet users

Resume Topic of this thesis is leadership. Its aim is to recapitulate theoretical frame of this subject, and to outline to what extent Czech people (for purposes of this thesis Czech internet users) are familiar with leadership concept in similar way which is presented by authors who write about it. This work is based on ideas of so-called classical management schools, and information about leadership takes not only from books of chosen Czech authors, but also from works of foreign specialists like Peter F. Drucker or John Adair. For theoretical frame are used also some management textbooks like works of Koontz and Weihrich or Vodáček and Vodáčková. My hypothesis and initiative for this work is that for Czech environment leadership still is not much usual concept. There was quantitative survey on sample of Czech population carried out. As the interviewing was done online, it is not possible to present it as fully representative however criterions for choosing respondents corresponded with representative sample of Czech population when considered demographical indicators like gender, age, region or size of residence. Training in cognitive functions for adults with psychotic disorders

This work focuses on the training in cognitive functions for adults with psychotic disorders and it deals with this topic, also known as cognitive remediation therapy (CRT), within the framework of andragogy. The aim of this work is to examine the process of CRT for adults with psychotic disorders and the potential contributions for the participants. The first part presents the theoretical foundations related to psychotic disorders and the deficit of cognitive functions, as well as the particularities of CRT, such as different attitudes to the training, its didactic perspective and its effect. The empirical part surveys what contributions CRT had for the participants and whether it was effective. This part describes a qualitative inquiry using a data analysis based on interviews with participants in CRT for adults with psychotic disorders who underwent the training in the Green Doors facility, the Modré dveře therapeutic centre or the Psychiatric Centre Prague. The assessment of the empiric survey focuses on the recommendations that could help achieve better results in CRT and that could involve specialists from the field of adult education in the training.
