How culture affects negotiation processes and outcomes and how psychology can contribute to diplomacy is closing theoretical part. Critical in the development and outcomes of negotiations is the social value orientation - the preference for certain...

Work-life balance within couple with child
Zelenková, Lucie ; Wagnerová, Irena (advisor) ; Svianteková, Gabriela (referee)
The aim of this work is to outline the ways in which current couples with at least one child of pre-school age cope with the demands placed on them by their profession and family. The goal of the study was to reveal how couples evaluate themselves and each other in professional, parental, partnership and homecare roles. These assessments were then compared with each other. The obtained data show that men, in comparison with women, feel greater commitment from the professional role not only for themselves but also for their partners. Women's perception of parental role commitment is higher both compared to men and to their partners' rating. There are not so many differences between men and women either in partner role value or in homecare role commitment. Men evaluate their partners' commitment in the homecare higher compared with the evaluation of women themselves.
