Education of children with school attendance delay

The thesis deals with the issue of delay, schooling in the Czech Republic. Responding to the high percentage of children with delayed schooling in kindergartens. In the theoretical part, the author wants to provide general information about the suspension of schooling, who shall decide on the suspension of schooling and will address why the delay of schooling so much nowadays, will focus on the diagnosis of school maturity in the pedagogical-psychological counseling and pedagogical Diagnostics by means of the teachers in kindergartens. A significant portion will be devoted to the issue of educational work in kindergarten. In the practical part will then outlined examination in the pedagogical-psychological counseling, development of individual educational plan for the development of the most common areas that postponement of the schooling grants, and games for kids with the deferment of the schooling. Partial case reports will be complemented by interviews with the parents, how is the decision making process of schooling. The investigation will be carried out through a combination of research methods of interview and observation. Science experiments during free-time activities of school-aged children

This bachelor thesis deals with the ways in which science (chemistry, physics, biology) and other related disciplines can be used in primary school children's leisure time activities. It presents a number of practical proposals as for how to make these subjects more accessible in an attractive way. The theoretical part briefly describes the individual subjects in question, a range of leisure-time facilities suitable for the intended activities, and specifies the characteristics of preschool children. The practical part brings a numer of possible experiments in the given subjects, together with their description and practical implementation. The proposals for experiments and activities are based on everyday life. The aim of this thesis is to make these often not fully understood everyday life situation accessible to children in an interesting and playful way. The final reflection is aimed at the assessment of the suitability of the individual proposals, and their possible pitfalls and improvements.

PhDr. Jana Uhlířová, CSc. Abstract: The aim of this work is a comparison of contemporary French and Czech kindergarden in some significant aspects. These are (i) educational goals in the kindergardens and (ii) conception of the preschool education and daily schedule of a kindergarten class. This work consists of two major parts, the theoretical part and the empirical part. The theoretical part discusses an embedding of a kindergarden in the educational system, conception of a child, conditions of child care in a preschool age and, finally, it precisely analyzes legislative documents of the educational programs in France and the Czech republic. The analysis also includes a translation of selected parts of French curriculum. The empirical part of this work is based on observation of a daily schedule and conditions in which the preschool education takes place. The comparison of both above mentioned aspects highlights the differences between a conception of a child and the application of the theoretical document in practice in both countries, the Czech republic and France. Adaptation to kindergarten and appropriate activities for four-year-olds and younger children

This bachelor's thesis focuses on the issue of child adaptation into the kindergarten environment, particularly children four years old and younger. Special attention is given to games and activities that strengthen the relationship of the child with the teacher or the other kids and strengthen the security of the child in his new environment. In the theoretical part, the student will focus on the preschool-aged child's socialization and the aspects related to his transition from a family environment into the wider environment of a kindergarten school. The main objective of the study, which is part of the thesis, is to find out about the adaptation process with three to four-year-old children entering kindergarten and what factors influence this process. The practical part of the thesis presents three case studies of children between the ages of three and four, who start going to the kindergarten for their first time, focusing on adaptation in the kindergarten. The survey was conducted by a combination of interviews with parents, the child, the principal of the kindergarten school and by observing the child directly in the kindergarten.

Latest Trends in Primary School Education

The study focuses on problems which appear to be fundamental in primary school education. The work si centred on reading and readerś literacy in primary school. The work is also focused on issues that seem to be fundamental in European school education and current development of Czech primary school. Subject of this study is to present educational policy and educational system of Germany, Sweden and the United Kingdom, which represent three different types of school structure. It provides a more comprehensive view of the current issues of educational policy - fairness in school education, language training, integration of troubled students, integration of immigrants and the position of teacher. The final section contains an analysis of the results of PIRLS in Germany, Sweden, Great Britain and the Czech Republic.
