Kůta, Radim ; Vindušková, Jitka (advisor) ; Kaplan, Aleš (referee)
In our work we analyzed the performance of the members 14-15 years old of the sport centres (SpS) 2014 . We compared the members of SpS with school population from the study of Pávek (1977). The basic motoric tests were 50 m run, standing long jump, the medicine ball throw 2kg and the 12 minute run. The memberes of SpS 2014 were significantly better than school population from the study of Pávek (1977). We compared the meberes of SpS with the athletes of ČSTV (1982). The athletes of ČSTV (1982) were significantly better than the meberes of SpS 2014 in motoric tests: standing long jump and 12 minute run. Furthermore, we found that general physical performance of sprinters specifically reflected in their athletic performance. Title: Sprinter's training in the specialized phase of the conditioning Selfanalysis of one's own training Goals: The main goal of this dissertation is to review the development of my own performance and to evaluate the training in the specialized phase of the conditioning. Next goal is to evaluate the individual development and the results of chosen STU, that are important for short smooth sprint, and afterthat to compare those indicators. Methods: Data for the explorative part were gained by the method of content-selfanalysis of training documents, and we I evaluated chosen special training indicators of those documents. We mainly focused on development of acceleration maximum speed, followed by the development of speed endurance and running with load (total volume in km). Results: The results of chosen training indicators are processed to the table and graphic form. The form of comments is used for analysis of sport preparation, setting up the compensative exercises, health condition and evaluation of performance' development during four years period with two different coaches. The load was increasing in all chosen STU. The individual approach of the coach and communication with the client was very important aspect, that also contributed to the conclusion, that the best results were reached with...

Svědíková, Martina ; Vindušková, Jitka (advisor) ; Krátký, Petr (referee)
Title: Trends in performance development in combined events. Objectives: The aim of this work was to investigate trends of the performance development in combined events during 2005-2014 based on results of top level competitions and interindividual variability of the point structure of individual combined events athletes. Methods: In this work we used the method of comparison and analysis of the performance development in combined events. Results: The trend of the performance in combined events did not change. Combined events are dominated by athletes with excellent sprint-jumping performances without significant weaknesses in throwing disciplines. The evenness of women opponents is more evident than among men. Slight progression in men's decathlon ocurred in the years 2012-2014 because of the high scores of Ashton Eaton's winning performances. Carolina Klüft dominated women heptathlon in the years 2005-2007, but the average score among heptathletes did not increase. In indoor pentathlon, the development was slightly progressive until 2012. Average scores of pentathletes were similar to the winning performances showing high evenness of opponents. Point structures of five selected male and female athletes (of top performance level) in the observed time period show understandable differences from...

Ptáčníková, Hana ; Vindušková, Jitka (advisor) ; Červinka, Pavel (referee)
Title: Sprinter's training Objectives: Determine the dynamics of performance and assess training load in the stage of specialized training. Try to find out why the training load contributed to the expected growth performance in the periods 2009 - 2010 and 2012 - 2013 and that the training load was consistent with model values. Methods: In the thesis I used the method of content analysis, comparative method, a method of self-reflection, self-analysis and objectification. Results: In performance analysis, we found out that the highest efficiency in running the 100m was achieved in 2012 and running the 200 m in 2009. Values of training load comparing to model values are average or below average, only the speed endurance values were above average. The main reason for the decline in performance in 2009 - 2010 and 2012 - 2013 were health problems as a result of lack of regeneration and psychological problems arising from unfulfilled performance aspirations. Suchelová, Nikola ; Šteffl, Michal (advisor) ; Vindušková, Jitka (referee)
Backgrounds: Pole vault could be counted among the most frequently mentioned athletic disciplines in terms of injuries. In the recent past there have been done a number of changes of rules which have led to a reduction in the number of accidents. Objectives: The main objective of this study was to identify the most common causes of accidents and injuries in pole vault, to describe preventive measures that have already been carried out and to draw attention to the others which could be possible. Methods: This work provides a systematic review combined with practical experience. Four electronic databases - EBSCO, ScienceDirect, WoS, PubMed were used to obtain the relevant information. Conclusion: Although there have been made several significant changes of rules leading to better safety, it is still necessary to continue the discussion about further measures such as the obligation to wear a helmet or to insert a box padding which could limit the risk of injury in the pole vault even more. KEY WORDS: pole vault, athletics, injuries, causes, prevention

Title: Javelin thrower's training - self-assessment of performance development and training Aim: Assessment of my career, development of performance and evaluation of training in each stage of development. Methods: Research of specialized literature, retrospective analysis of performance tables, training records and interviews with coaches. Description and comparison of training strategies in each stage of development. Results: I have been a competing athlete since 1993. I threw 55.79 m at the age of 15. I surpassed the 70 meter mark after four years of training. I reached the finals of the World Junior Championship. Then, after repeated injuries, I decided to quit athletics. While studying at the university I started training again. After a year Jan Železný became my coach and within two years I reached the finals of the Olympic Games in Beijing. This gave me a new impulse to continue high level training. My basic general training was led by coach Lípa. The positive aspect of this stage of training was that I received a very good general performance base, Mr Lípa gave me a very good running and sprinting base and I benefit from this even today. Insufficient and uneven development of muscle strength was the downside of this stage. Specialized training was led by coach Jaroslav Halva. The positive...
