This diploma thesis called The city of Kutna Hora in year 1968 describes main events of year 1968 is the city of Kutna Hora in the Central Bohemian Region. At the beginning of this thesis, there is described the whole of Czechoslovakia in year 1968. The aim of this work was to concentrate to events of this year in the city of Kutna Hora and make an overview about this city in year 1968. There is the whole situation in Kutna Hora from the beginning of they till invasion of Armed force in August. Kutna Hora was not very strategic place in Czechoslovakia. For this work, the method of oral history was mainly used, big part of this thesis are stories and memories of local people, who remember the year 1968. Ladislav Štoll'Participation on the Shaping of the Czechoslovak Culture

The aim of the thesis is to describe how a literary critic and an ideologist of the Communist Party Ladislav Štoll influenced the making of the Czechoslovak culture in the 20th century. At the same time we try to capture Ladislav Štoll's life in the form of a political biography, which describes his activity in connection to the discussions, polemics and the political development of the Czechoslovak cultural left wing. As a part of the thesis we describe the activity and opinions of Ladislav Štoll in the interwar republic, his attempts to write his own fiction and broadly also his participation in the discussions amongst left-wing intellectuals (so called generational discussion, the controversy around André Gide, polemics about the Moscow Trials). Also his relationship with the thinking of Zdeněk Nejedlý, the heritage of F. X. Šalda and Štoll's opinions before the outbreak of the Second World War is analysed in the thesis. We try to capture Štoll's activity during the Second World War, including the problem of his involvement with the anti-Nazi resistance. The main focus of the thesis is Štoll's activity after the war. Women and Trade Unions 1945-1952

This thesis was written to highlight the role of women in the Revolutionary Trade Union Movement after the Second World War. It described existence and the activity of a relatively autonomous group of women which was established as a part of the Central Trade Union Council. Especially after the monopolization of a communist government in February 1948, the trade unions, as representatives of all workers, had become an important political agent in the state organisation. One of their major tasks was to mobilize workforce which was essential in order to boost the post-war economy. This activity was supported by ideology, promising to create new and better socialistic society. Appropriate attention was paid particularly to housewives who represented the greatest reserves of workforce. The intention was to integrate as many women as possible into the work process, organise them in trade unions and help them with household chores and family problems. Therefore, boards of women were established along with the trade unions' body and existed under the aforementioned Women's Committee of the Central Trade Union Council. Disciplinery and labour camp in Lety by Pisek

Summary: This bachelor's thesis deals with disciplinary and labor camp in Lety by Pisek, which was later renamed the transit camp and then became a gypsy camp. The Camp was established during the Nazi occupation in the Protectorate of Bohemia and Moravia. In this camp, hundreds of Roma died of typhus, mainly due to poor hygienic conditions, which the Czech government and the Czech guard could not provide them. This work covers not only the history of the camp, but also the events after the end of the camp. With a lack of long disinterest, the camp has been completely forgotten. Furthermore, it discusses the later establishment of the monument, the following ceremonies and interminable argument about the pig farm, which was established at this place later on. Process of Záviš Kalandra and it's press returns

The bachelor thesis describes the process with Záviš Kalandra, which was a part of the political process with Milada Horáková and others from the year 1950. It also deals with press returns of Kalandra's process. The thesis is divided into practical and theoretical part. The theoretical part presents Kalandra's life, his relations with the czechoslovakia communist party, newspaper activity and circumstances of his arrest. This part is also devoted to political process with Záviš Kalandra, and circumstances that predated his beginning, preparing and course of the process and his final verdict, which fell in process. Last chapture of this part deals with propaganda campaign, her beginning and way of propagation. In practical part of the thesis can be find the several articles from czechoslovakia daily newspapers, appreciates their importance and on the basis of these articles compares, how different newspapers described the process. Henri Bergson's ethics

In this thesis, we analyze ethical system of 19th century French philosopher Henry Bergson. In a beginning of thesis, we research philosophic context of 19th century. We analyze Bergson's philosophy in his works (Time and Free Will, Thought and Motion) with emphasis on ethical problem, which is solved in this works. Main part of this thesis analyzes his ethic work The Two Sources of Morality and Religion. Here we also analyze his method for solving religious and sociologic questions.
