Teaching of motor activities of students with special educational needs at secondary school

The thesis is focused on selection of methods and teaching strategies in teaching motor activities of secondary school students with special educational needs. The theoretical part deals with practical training, teaching methods, the influence of diversity to selection of appropriate methods and strategies used in practical training of students. . The empirical part of the thesis is a multiple case study based on observing a group of students with special educational needs during their practical training. The reserch was focused on using of particular methods regarding individual educational needs of the students.

This bachelor thesis, Child Readiness for School Education - Methods and Diagnostic Determinations of School Maturity, I deal with the topic of school maturity and school readiness with focus on child readiness for school education. It consists of two parts: theoretical and practical. In the theoretical part, I describe and define the concepts of school maturity and readiness and the development of pre-school children. I further mention possible methods of preparing the child for education, the legal framework of the matter and also the diagnostics of school maturity. The goal of the practical part is to find out whether or not there is any merit in comparing the evaluation of the parents with the child skill tests; test the functioning of a new detection tool and, based on a pilot testing run, find other possible additional points of improvement of the tool itself and its user friendliness. As part of the case study, I deal with testing 6 pre-school children from a specific pre- school on their school maturity level and subsequently compare the results with their parents' assessment by means of a questionnaire answered by the parents. Part of this test of the group of pre-schools children is also a pilot run of a new detection tool while focusing not only on the functionality of the tool but also...
PSE as One of the Possibilities of Primary Prevention

This thesis is focused on the possibility of using Personal and Social Education in implementing effective primary prevention program in elementary schools. After the theoretical analysis of primary prevention and Personal and Social Education, the second part of the thesis presents and analyzes a proposed model of prolonged non-specific primary prevention, which is based mainly on the activities of school prevention methodologist. The methodologist is educated in social pedagogy and professionally trained in Personal and Social Education. The school prevention methodologist is employed full-time for this position, he does not teach any other subject but Personal and Social Education. In this part of the thesis there are discussed demands on school prevention methodologist activities and difficulties of presented primary prevention model. The last chapter presents supporting research that took place at four elementary schools in Prague. Observations of the teaching Personal and Social Education, conversations with its teacher and also an analysis of the Minimum Preventive Program of the school were made there.

Every inclusive school offers the possibility of special personal support in the classroom provided by the teacher and his or her assistant working together as a team. This sort of educational method actually creates and entirely new educational situation and opens a new opportunity in the educational process. It demands an effective cooperation of both educationalists, because their attitudes determine the cooperative climate in the whole class community and also in the entire school community. Psychologial deprivation and its effect on school success

This bachelor thesis deals with the issue, to what extent does a negative experience in the form of deprivation influence a school-aged child. First, the attention focuses on the theoretical part related to the subject of psychological deprivation. The child's needs necessary for its healthy development and the consequences of the deprivation are clarified. I define the symptoms of deprivation in different areas of child development. The work also emphasizes the influence of a family environment and institutional care on the origin of trauma in preschool children. The concept of school success in relation to a school-aged child is then defined. The work deals with causes of failure and factors contributing to failure. I have allowed myself to include an expert concept of school failure and his methods of working with traumatized children. The analytical part presents concrete cases of deprivation taken from the professional literature and its symptoms in a selected sample of individuals. A person with diagnosis of Asperger Syndrom and his education

The main ideas behind this thesis include introducing the characteristics of the disorder known as Asperger syndrome, searching for help for individuals with this disability, looking at their engagement in society, and also helping teachers prevent and deal with existing conflicts. After a short introduction of pervasive developmental disorders, I focused on Asperger syndrome. I concentrated on the issue of communication, its abnormalities, and the concept and modes of communication in the disabled. At the same time, I tried to indicate possible ways to educate people with Asperger's. The thesis also looks at inclusion, its conditions and forms. At the end of this part, I outline ways to organize education and chart the education of teaching staff in the field of pervasive developmental disorders. The empirical part looks into teachers' awareness of the disorder, describes education of individuals with Asperger's in practice, and suggests ways to organize education of people with the syndrome.
Degree of individual approach to children in various kinds pre-school facilities

This Bachelor Thesis describes different types of pre-school facilities and individual care provided for children in each of them. The goal of this thesis is to find out what the point of view of the parents of the children is on such a topic and to create evaluation. A field research based on personal observation will be made in each of those facilities providing more complex results. The theoretical part of this Thesis describes general definitions of pre-school education and presents different possibilities that exist on the market. The practical part is divided into two parts: survey and own observation (field research).
The effect of Mindfulness therapy on the psyche of children with twice exceptional

The bachelor thesis describes the degree to which mindfulness therapy influences the psyche of a child diagnosed with twice exceptionality. The goal of my thesis is to prove positive effect of mindfulness therapy on gifted girl suffering with ADD syndrome. Theoretical part of the thesis presents the issue of being gifted form historical, neurological, cognitive and social viewpoint altogether with the means of identification, forms of education and typology of gifted individuals. Second part deals with principles and influence of the mindfulness therapy on health of a human. Practical part is presented in a form of case study describing psychic condition of the girl for a period of three years preceding the therapy. Further a detailed analysis of eight-week therapy. The last part of the study includes observation of mental conditions during two months long period following the end of the therapy primarily focusing on reduction of anxiety and improvement of concentration.

The role of teacher's assistent in inclusive education at primary schools

This bachelor thesis with the topic "The role of teacher's assistant in inclusive education on primary schools" is aiming to approach the role of teacher's assistant in the context of current legislation. The target is to find out if this role is really needed in schools. The secondary expected contribution of my research should explain which problems appeared with the integration of the role of teacher's assistant to the classroom. The thesis is devided to two parts. The first part is theoretical focusing on general characteristics of inclusive education and the role of teacher's assistant from historically and nowadays points of view. Emphasis is placed on current legislation and changes in laws. The second part of the thesis is dedicated to my research aiming to find out if we need the role of teacher's assistant in inclusive education and if what are the issues of the assistant's integration to the classroom.
