Stone surface topography of Prague historic monuments over the centuries
Kovářová, K. ; Cihla, Michal ; Malát, R. ; Semerád, M. ; Tryml, M.
Stonemasons tool traces on stone surface are undoubtably a significant part of monument historic value. As any other profession, stonemasons craft develops over time and has its own specifics in every period. Each work has its own unique pattern and bears traces of individual stonemason workshops, tradition, etc. The study of building stone cutting is based on evolving methods of mechanoscopy and analytical traceology. Stone traceology deals with traces in material and the subsequent reconstruction of tools and the processes of stoneworking. The interpretation of data in terms of determining the actual trace is called a mechanoscopy. When studying a stone surface, the latest 3D modelling technology is used with subsequent analyses by means of Global Mapper software. The use of these methods enables reconstruction of the craftsman’s tools. The presented article is an extract of a study that systematically maps the stone cutting work in the territory of Prague from the oldest buildings to the present day. For example, stonework in 9th century Prague was gradually evolving from simple stone block modelling to sophisticated cutting of blocks in the 12th century. This information can be very useful in the process of monument care.

Thesis with title " Municipality and region like component of public administration reform" deal with transformation of municipal and regional local government in framework of public administration reform, which run in Czech republic since the year 1998. But it has been prepared since the origin of discrete Czech republic in the year 1993. Thesis deals also with history of public administration since the year 1848. We can see there a description of public administration in term of " First republic and Protectorate" and also in term when political power was takeover by communist party in year 1948. This event had for a long time impact on a form of Czech and Czechoslovak public administration, especially with establishing socalled public committee like the widest organization of labour and authority of state power and administration in regions, districts and municipalities. The base for realization of public administration reform is " Concept of public administration reform" which was put together in year 1998 by Home Office of Czech republic and advance report to this concept. In these materials were defined main points of prepared reform include main principle of reform like decentralization of state administration. Evaluation of running techniques in elite Czech runners
Franková, Aneta ; Červinka, Pavel (advisor) ; Semerád, Miroslav (referee)
Title: Evaluation of running techniques in elite Czech male and female runners Aims: The main goal of the work is to evaluate the running technique of elite Czech male and female runners on middle tracks and intra-individual variability of the running style. Methods of work: Qualitative kinematic analysis of motion and quantitative cinematographic examination method of video recording of running technique were used to create this work. The records were further processed using Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Premiere, Kinovea and Microsoft Excel. Results: The individual probands of the research group fulfill a substantial part of the model running technique recommended by the literature such as the active forefoot strike, the duration of individual phases, or the correct position of the head, torso, and extended reflex limb in the propulsion phase. So, we can say that Czech runners are technically capable. However, at the same time we observe a different individual concept of running technique for each proband, such as lumbar hyperlordosis, retroflection of torso, head tilt or the extent of arm work. Key words: biomechanics of motion, kinematic analysis, running technique, economics of motion
Evaluation of red blood count and biochemical parameters in elite runners - a case study
Pavlů, Jiří ; Červinka, Pavel (advisor) ; Semerád, Miroslav (referee)
Title: Evaluation of red blood count and biochemical parameters in elite runners - a case study Aims: The main goal of this work is to determine the dynamics of biochemical parameters and red blood count in relation to the individual phases of year training cycle in two elite runners on medium and long distances. The second goal is to examine the data with the intention of discovering the character of the trend of individual parameters in terms of four seasonal testing for each of the probands. Methods of work: he method of content analysis of record sheets related to red blood count (RBC, HGB, HCT, MCV, MCH, MCHC, RDW) and biochemical parameters (iron, transferrin, ferritin, iron saturation of transferrin) was used to develop the work. These sheets were provided to me by the coach of both probands. The provided data were recorded in tables which were the basis for the graphs in the final part of the work. The graphs were used to monitor the fluctuation of the values of individual parameters with respect to the RTC of each season, and possible mutual relations in the variability of these parameters were sought. The long-term trend was also examined in terms of the dynamics of the parameters. Results: The measured values of individual parameters of the athletes studied by me are in the range of...
Analysis of the training load of the Czech record holder in distance 2000 - 5000 m
Švecová, Anna ; Červinka, Pavel (advisor) ; Semerád, Miroslav (referee)
Title: Analysis of training resources of a Czech recordholder on 2 000 - 5 000 m Elaborated: Anna Svecova Supervisor: RNDr., PaedDr. Pavel Cervinka, Ph.D. Aims: The main goal of this work is analysis of training resources of professional runner specialized in 2 000 - 5 000 m long distance runs in years of 2013-2015. A partial goal is comparation of special training indicators individually in every year. Methods of work: Bacalory work is based in method of analysis of training diaries. Diaries were borrowed from RNDr., PaedDR Pavla Červinky, Ph.D. The data obtained were compared with professional literature. Results: The bachelor's thesis proved that the performance of female runners was influenced by training means, especially in the area of general endurance of the third type and in special endurance. Key words: training load, female athletes, analysis of the trainign load, Czech record holder
Retrospective analysis and identification of options for limiting sports performance
Semerád, Miroslav ; Bunc, Václav (advisor) ; Kampmiller, Tomáš (referee) ; Kučera, Vladimír (referee)
Subject: The knowledge of the sport performance structure with individual identification of the sport training model is a prerequisite for the effective management of sport training. Achieving the sports top limit performance in sport is possible by adapting the training plan to the athlete's individuality by his physiological and psychological prerequisites. To achieve the highest sports performance, sports training analysis is an indispensable tool for international competitiveness. This case study deals with the description of sports training models identified by the composition and dynamics of the training load predictors. A retrospective longitudinal study provides with insights into the possibilities of influencing sports training, which made national, Czech, records on the course of 800 m men and 3,000 m of women's steeplechase. Probandé (n=2) at the age of 21 (runner 1) and 28 resp. 29 years old (runner 2) reached limiting sports performances. The track record dates originates from 1995 to 2012. Runners were participants or medalists from top world or European athletic competitions. Objectiv: The aim of the thesis is to identify retrospectively through the found predictors, by whom were reached limit sports performance and sporting performance in the middle distances run. Methods: The...

The relationship between foot strike pattern and the incidence of the lower limb injuries in female runners in 800 meters
Höferová, Karin ; Pavlů, Dagmar (advisor) ; Semerád, Miroslav (referee)
Objectives: The aim of the study was to evaluate how lower limbs injuries are related to footstrike pattern in 800 m women runners aged 16 - 22 in the Czech Republic and around the world. Methods: Due to the current epidemiological situation, the original field investigation of 48 runners was not possible to complete. Literature research on the topic and the series of ten case studies were performed instead. The research was performed in following databases: Medline, ScienceDirect, SPORTDiscus and Bibliographia medica Čechoslovaca. Results showed seven studies that met inclusion criteria. After that footstrike pattern was evaluated and compared with injury history in 10 women runners in 800 meters, who took part in the Czech Republic championship. Results: Two studies out of seven confirmed a higher incidence of injuries in RFS than in FFS, 4/7 did not show a significant difference, 1/7 did not evaluate the higher incidence in one or the other type of the footstrike. Three studies out of seven confirmed the relationship between RFS and knee injuries. Furthermore, two of them showed relationship between RFS and hip pain. 2/7 did not confirm any relationship between footstrike pattern and specific injury and 2/7 did not evaluated this relationship at all. Based on the series of ten case studies, it...
