Development strategy of the selected school

The diploma thesis focuses on the area of strategic management of a selected educational organization, which is a vocational school. In the theoretical part of the diploma thesis, attention is paid to the theoretical basis, that is the field of education, management in a broader context and strategic management with specifics in education. The diploma thesis also focuses on the selected educational organization and its characteristics, and the general specifics of special schools. The research part analyzes the current state of management of the organization and using interviews and a questionnaire survey information is obtained to meet the goal of the thesis, to compile a development strategy for a selected organization. The aim of the thesis is to develop a draft strategy for the development of the selected school, based on an analysis of the current state of school management using the results of a questionnaire survey and interviews and in connection with the strategic documents of the educational policy of the Czech Republic, including the use of the results of projects developed at the national level for the issue under investigation. Cleaning library documents with a two-phase spray.

The cleaning of particles from library materials (paper, textile, and collagen materials) using a high-speed CO2 snow jet was investigated. The measurements included\ndetermination of the cleaning efficiency, and evaluation of possible adverse effects. The method was compared with nitrogen jet cleaning. The results showed that the CO2 snow\njet is able to effectively remove particles from the surfaces. Any adverse effects were not observed at paper and textile. However, application on collagen materials caused\ndegradation of the surface.

The aim of this methodology was to create a set of procedures and recommendations for library and archive staff or restorers, using which it is possible to remove dust particles from the surface of paper, textiles and collagen materials using the two-phase spray of CO2 snow particles in the carrier gas. The result is an effective and safe alternative to existing cleaning methods. Furthermore, the research aimed to compare the results of this type of treatment with commonly used mechanical cleaning procedures for library collections and archival documents and to analyse in detail the potential use of the new method.

Methodology for removing dust particles from the surface of paper, collagen materials and textiles using the TEA CO2 laser.

The aim of this methodology was to develop a set of procedures and recommendations for cleaning materials frequently represented in library collections, using which it will be possible to use pulse infrared TEA CO2 laser to remove dust particles from their surface. The basic requirement is to effectively remove surface contamination without damaging the treated material. For this purpose, a threshold irradiation intensity is established at which the ablation of the surface dirt begins and a threshold irradiation intensity at which the degradation of the library materials. The result is an effective and safe alternative to existing cleaning methods. Furthermore, the aim was to compare the results of this type of treatment of library materials with traditional mechanical cleaning procedures and thus analyse the possible potential of the new method.\n\n

Kočová, K.: Forms of contemporary czech illustration for the youngest readers. /Thesis/ Prague 2011 - Charles University, Faculty of education, department of art education, 86 pages. The thesis deals with contemporary tendencies in illustrations for the youngest readers. It compare the work of contemporary Czech artists, who do illustrations for young children as a 'kitsch'. The thesis analyzes the phenomenon of 'kitsch' and utilizes concrete examples from books or magazines for children. The didactic section focuses on work with illustrations in the first grade of primary school. It explores children's reactions to the artwork of contemporary artists as well as the attitude of teachers to this art. Long-Term Insurance and Permanent Health Insurance

This thesis deals with long-term care insurance and disability insurance. Both products are classified as products of private health insurance which is described in the first chapter. We can find characteristics of longterm care and its providers in Czech republic in the second chapter. Further, some numerical methods used in long-term care insurance are stated. The third chapter describes the British model of length of stay in institutional long-term care, the results of the study in the Great Britain are summarized in brief. The fourth chapter deals with characteristics and numerical methods of disability insurance. The fifth chapter displays the use of state model in disability insurance. The emerging costs method is illustrated on simple example. The life tables for disabled people were designed to be used in the calculation. In the conclusion we can find reasoning for the future of products mentioned above on the Czech insurance market.

Karolína Kočová Supervisor's e-mail address: kkocova@koop.cz Abstract: This diploma thesis focuses on the possibilities of using generational mortality tables for third party liability insurance, mainly for bodily injured. It describes the construction of generational mortality tables and the creation of RBNS claims reserves. Besides the demonstration of these models, the work analyzes the results of calculating reserves in accordance with generational mortality tables and actual mortality tables of the Czech Republic. An impor- tant element in provision calculating is the simulation of future life expectancy of the insured, i.e. random generation of life expectancy based on generational mortality data. Characteristics of the distribution of reserves are derived from simulations. Furthermore, we compare the results of stochastic and determi- nistic approach of computing the reserves. Cílem této metodiky bylo vytvořit soubor postupů a doporučení pro pracovníky knihoven a archivů či pro restaurátory, s jejichž využitím je možné pomocí dvoufázového spreje sněhových částic CO2 v nosném plynu odstraňovat prachové částice z povrchu papíru, textilu a kolagenních materiálů. Výsledkem je efektivní a bezpečná alternativa ke stávajícím metodám čištění.
