Design of apparatus for destructive tests of thermoelectric modules

In order to reliably test thermoelectric modules, it is necessary to have a adequate measuring apparatus. The presented diploma thesis deals with the design of measuring apparatus capable of performing both long-term testing of thermoelectric modules at a constant high temperature and thermal cycling extension has been designed. Both types can be changed in a short time.
Determination of stability of fuel feeding into boiler

This bachelor thesis deals with the determination of stability of fuel feeding into boiler. The principle of the screw conveyor is described at the beginning of the thesis. It is followed by a description of the individual parts of the worm. The second part of the research deals with the properties of the materials transported. The second half of the bachelor thesis is practical. In this section there are experimentally measured values of flow of sawdust and wood chips. At the end, the measured values are compared and evaluated.

Cizinci na trhu práce v ČR se zaměřením na hlavní město Praha

This thesis deals with the position of foreigners in the labor market, focusing on the capital city of Prague. In the first part are identified and characterized the basic conceptstogether with the conditions for residence and employment. There is then analyzed sixselected countries, the most common nationalities registered by the labor office in Prague. They are always divided into 3 states of the EU, EHP and Switzerland for 3states from "third countries". The practical part analyzes the development of labor migration in the Czech Republic, particularly in Prague. The following individual chapters of labor migration are analyzed from different perspectives and division. The conclusion is devoted to analysis and subsequent evaluation of a questionnaire survey conducted among citizens of Prague and citizens who work in Prague. The aim of this study is to evaluate the overall situation of the status of foreigners in the labor market, further evaluation of the conditions of entry, residence and employment. The questionnaire is to confirm or refute hypotheses tent.

This diploma thesis deals with means of communication of The Motol University Hospital. The objective is to find out, which means of communication the hospital uses for communication with patients and hospital visitors and which are used for communication with its employees. Next I describe them and find out, which means of communication suit these two groups, which don't and where is the room for improvement. The questionnaire survey was used to find out the preferences of means of communication, which I realized in The Motol University Hospital. The work includes research findings and recommendations resulting from their foundations.
Usage of virtualization in the small and medium businesses area - business plan

In these days the term virtualization is almost everywhere, especially in relation with server virtualization. One of the main goals is to describe the part of virtualization which is today not so known although it could have the same meaning for companies as the server virtualization had a few years ago. It is a desktop virtualization and this work includes not just a wide description of this but also related technologies such as data storage virtualization, application virtualization and cloud computing. Another goal is to hold desktop virtualization and find its benefits by placing into the area of small and medium businesses. Thesis is not focused only on the positives of using this technology but also on overall aspects of its use including related risks. Entire part of this thesis is business plan of the company that currently offers virtualization as a complex service for small and medium enterprises. Essential is not just a complete description of the fast growing area, but also concept the practical filling by the plan, which is in the acceptable form for potential investor.
Human factor in IS/ICT

In todays world which is full of various technologies and we demand for sophisticated equipment, we often forget who is going to use the equipment. It is a person, the strongest part between all systems, and not only computing systems. But this person is simultaneously the weakness part of the system. This rule is often overtrumped by amount of technical literatures about security, which tries to push aside the core problem -- human factor. That is why we should constantly warn about human factor problems in the environment of information technology.
The second generation of biofuels in the real world

The diploma thesis deals with the problematics of biofuels as a renewable source of energy in transportation, which has recently gotten under social spotlight. The theoretical part is focused on an explanation of basic terminology, historical development and especially reasons for the need to replace current fosil fuels with respect to an increasing volume of CO2 and shortening oil reserves. The practical part compares characteristics, use, pros and cons of the biofuels of the first and second generation and tries to estimate benefits of the biofuels of the second generation in both economic and environmental area.
