The Performance Evaluation of the Company using Balanced Scorecard

The diploma thesis deals with the issues of evaluating the performance of a selected company using the Balanced Scorecard method. The first part of the thesis contains the goals, methodology, and theoretical basis for the issues. The next part is devoted to the introduction of the selected company, strategic and financial analysis. In the final part, based on the outputs of the analyzes, a proposal for the implementation of the BSC model is prepared in order to increase the performance of the company.

The master’s thesis concerns with a theme of strengthening competitiveness of a travel agency, which makes tours to abroad. Theoretical part of the work includes knowledge about competitiveness and strengthening of the competitiveness. In practical part are knowledge used in a practice. The main part of the work is analysis of the travel agency and microeconomics and macroeconomics environment, which influences the company. These analysis are made because of raise proposal for strengthening competitiveness of the travel agency.

Territory development strategy in relation to construction production

This diploma thesis deals with comparison of regions of the Czech Republic between national economy in terms of construction production and selection of region with the greatest potential for development of construction production. In the theoretical part is defined the term region, which is followed by regional economics and politics. Another topic addressed is regional development territorial development strategies and indicators that capture the differences between regions. The practical part deals with the characteristics of the national economy and construction in individual regions, which is folloved by a draft strategy dealing with problems in the field of construction. The last part of the thesis, regions are compared according to the given indicators and the regions with the greatest potential for the development of construction production are indentified.

Strategic Development of Business Model in the Context of Legal Aspects

This diploma thesis focuses on the issue of the impact of legal regulation on the business model during its formulation and implementation. This work outlines the theoretical background in which are described the key concepts of work, strategic management and strategy, the insured strategy of corporate and business strategy and innovative approach as a business model Canvas. Furthermore, the basic characteristics of the level and method of legal regulation are outlined. The analytical part presents a specific business model, which will be used to reveal key areas subjected to legislation, which will then be compared with the solutions of the most successful companies in the given area. Based on these findings, the design part deals with the formulation and implementation of the business model so that it is legally compliant at both national and supranational levels, with the economic impact of the selected solution according to the degree of complexity and risk.

Artificial Intelligence in Bang! Game

The goal of this master's thesis is to create an artificial intelligence for the Bang! game. There is a full description of the Bang! game, it's entire rules, player's using strategy principles and game analysis from UI point of view included. The thesis also resumes methods of the artificial intelligence and summarizes basic information about the domain of game theory. Next part describes way of the implementation in C++ language and it's proceeding with use of Bayes classification and decision trees based on expert systems. Last part represent analysis of altogether positive results and the conclusion with possible further extensions.
