Prevalence of mental disorders in the Czech population: age and sex differences Abstract Mental illnesses and addictions to alcohol and drugs are quite huge problem in current society, which are not much discussed and not even solved, even though in Czechia the number of people with mental health problems is increasing. In 2017 in Czechia was made the CZEMS survey, which participated 3306 respondents, who were older than 18 years. Based on these results, there is almost 20 % people diagnosed with mental illness in Czechia. This bachelor thesis is orienting at four selected categories of mental illnesses and addictions, which are mood disorders, anxiety disorders, alcohol and drug dependencies. Men have higher prevalence of addictions, mainly alcohol dependency and drug abuse, which are marihuana, cocaine, different narcotics and inhalants. On the contrary, women have rather more risk to be diagnosed with mental illnesses such as mood disorders and anxiety disorders. The analysis also focuses on exact selected illnesses and dependencies, which are depressions, agoraphobia, social phobia, marijuana addiction and tranquilizers dependency. The implementation of rating of the audivisual products by suatibility for age groups in the Czech republic

The diploma thesis "The Implementation of rating of the audio-visual products by suitability for age groups in the Czech Republic" deals with issues of classification of audio- visual products in Czech medial space. At first, text analyses, what the audio-visual media product is, and what are the legal, psychological and economic arguments for its implementation. The history and current status of labelling in the Czech Republic is also described in this part. Included is also a description of the labelling status in other selected countries, namely United States of America and several countries of European Union. Next part of thesis deals with the Dutch labelling system Kijkwijzer, as it was recommended by experts as an example for future implementation of classification system in our country. It's labelling process and categories are described as well as reasons for why this system was chosen. Diploma thesis also describes the effort to implement this system in Czech Republic by the Audio-visual Department at the Ministry of Culture, and tries to find out why it hasn't been implemented yet. The trends of spending leisure time in Náchodsko region (a comparative study in the rural area)

Free time in today's life is becoming more and more important. The development of modern society and specialization of labor market today divides more obviously time for responsibilities and pastime. Leisure time is a very individual matter and its form is dependent on many aspects. Age and the size of the place of residence belong to those aspects that influence spending our free time. The relation between them became the core topic of this thesis. The practical part is based on my own research in three urban areas of different size in Nachod district. The research analyses the offer of free time activities as well as the attitude of the inhabitants in relation to their age and the size of town. The core task of this practical part was to look for any causal links. Deeper analysis shows that there is a certain coherence between the age of inhabitants, the size of their town and the style of spending leisure time, nevertheless this influence is not very significant. It is above all a very individual matter.

K základním výstupům ze sčítání lidu patří zjištění věkové struktury obyvatelstva. Ta je výsledkem dlouhodobého demografického vývoje, změn v úrovni porodnosti, úmrtnosti a zahraniční migrace. Hlavním činitelem ovlivňujícím věkovou strukturu populace České republiky byla měnící se intenzita porodnosti v průběhu 20. století, která spolu s trvalým zlepšováním úmrtnostních poměrů vyústila v tzv. stárnutí populace.

Socio - demographic homogamy of married and unmarried couples

The study analyzes the mutual similarity between partners in terms of basic socio - demographic characteristics. For partners entering into a marriage follows the development age and education similarities between 1993-2012. It also includes analysis of the influence of the age difference between spouses on the stability of marriage. Further studies focused on differences in the similarity of age, education, nationality and religion between unmarried partners living in unmarried union.
