The bachelor thesis deals with the use of the concept of total reward in a selected subject with a focus on changes in the system of evaluation and remuneration of employees. The bachelor thesis is divided into three parts. The first part contains theoretical background. The second part contains a detailed internal and external analysis of the subject and the third part contains own proposals to improve the functioning of the remuneration system in the subject.

The work is focused on the employee remuneration system and proposals for improvement in the given company. The thesis is divided into three parts, the first part deals with theoretical starting points, which are drawn from professional literature and publications by various authors who have an overview of the given issue. In the second part, the existing remuneration system in the company and the factors affecting it are analyzed. The third part deals with specific proposals for improving the remuneration system in the company.

The focus of the bachelor thesis is the employee remuneration system in the selected company. The theoretical part defines the basic concepts that fall into the area of employee remuneration. The analytical part examines and assesses the remuneration system currently operating in the selected company, taking into account the external and internal influences that affect it. The performed analyzes provide the basis from which proposals for changes to the current remuneration system are drawn up, which are intended to achieve increased employee satisfaction.

Remuneration and Motivation of Employees in the Public Sector

The aim of this thesis is to evaluate the current system of motivation and remuneration in a chosen public organization. Then propose steps that would lead to improvement of this system. The theoretical part focuses on the study of the theoretical background and the explanation of the basic terms. This section begins with description of terms as motivation, stimulation, theories of motivation. It also deals with remuneration, total compensations, regulations of wages or salary and also with public sector. The selected organization is the Municipal Office in Jindřichův Hradec, which is described in the practical part of this thesis. Moreover in the practical part the system of motivation and remuneration is analysed. The necessary data for the analysis are obtained from the internal documents of the organization. Other information was obtained through a questionnaire survey. The questionnaire is based on the total compensation. The obtained results are interpreted and some recommendations for the improvement of current state are suggested. Recommendations for improvement relates mostly to employee benefits, education, as well as give recognition or praise.
