Evaluation of the Corporate Performance

The focus of this bachelor thesis is to evaluate the performance of ZAMA interior s.r.o. using a financial analysis based on the company's financial statements and then comparing it with two competing companies. In the first part we will discuss the subject matter of the topic, introducing the key concepts, analysis and how we can calculate them. In the second part, I will apply each analysis to a selected company, compare it with competing companies and evaluate the results obtained. The third part focuses on suggestions for improvement based on the opportunities identified by the financial analysis.

Measuring and Evaluating the Company's Performance through the Benchmarking Method

The bachelor thesis is focused on measuring and evaluating the performance of BARZZUZ s.r.o. compared to selected competitors in the same industry. The work consists of the following parts. The first part is focused on theoretical background, where I describe the various methods of financial analysis and intercompany comparison. Followed by the practical part, where I apply the procedures from the theoretical part to specific companies. In the last part I will evaluate the given situations and compare them with the main company, with the help of the results I will suggest solutions and procedures that could improve the activities of the company.

The aim of the work is an analysis of recent and present economic situation and also situation in construction in Slovak Republic. It deals with the economy of a particular company, which specialises in the field of construction works, in the context of outside and inside influences. A more detailed examination relies on the results of a financial analysis. The aim of the thesis is to find out what impact these events have on a specific company and to suggest solutions that would contribute to its resilience to its competition or to help overcome the next potential crisis.

Evaluation of the Financial Situation of the Company and Proposals for its Improvement

Bachelor thesis consists of three parts. Theoretical part focuses on the theoretical issue of financial analysis and benchmarking. Besides this, it introduces and explains the terms, which are used in the thesis. The second part is practical part. The knowledge from the theoretical part is applied to a specific company in this part of the thesis. The chosen company is analysed from the financial point of view and subsequently the values are compared with the company’s competitor. Based on the results of the practical part, suggestions for improvement of the company’s condition are presented. These suggestions are described in the last part – Suggestion part.

The bachelor thesis will deal with the evaluation of the financial situation of the company KAPAMAT AG – ambiente design, Ltd. for the previous period 2015 – 2019. Various methods and indicators of the financial analysis will be used to assess the financial health of the corporation. The theoretical part will define a basic concepts and a theoretical background, which will be used later in the elaboration of the financial analysis in the analytical part. The last part will include recommended possible solutions, thanks to which the economic situation of the company would be improved.

The aim of my bachelor thesis is to map the current economic situation and its influence on construction in Slovakia and Czech Republic during the crisis. The other part is the analysis of a particular construction firm in critical times. The aim is to find out the outcomes of crisis and consecutive economic progress in that particular construction firm. I will try suggestive measures which would prevent negative outcomes.

Evaluation of the Economic Situation of the Selected Private Corporation and Proposals to its Improvement

This bachelor thesis analyses the financial situation of a selected retail company using elementary methods of financial analysis. The first part of the thesis focuses on the definition and clarification of the theoretical concepts that relate to the issues being examined. These concepts are also applied in the analytical part of the thesis and are used to propose a solution to the examined issues. The analytical part of the thesis describes the retail company in detail and provides financial analysis and evaluation of the company using the specific methods described in the first part. Based on the financial analysis, the last part of the thesis presents specific proposals to improve the financial situation of the company.
