Individual planning in field-based social services for the elderly

This thesis focuses on the topic of care planning in field-based social services for the elderly. This topic is relevant for social workers and social care assistants, who are responsible for care planning in their social service. The goal of this thesis was to identify the characteristics of a high-quality care plan in field-based social services with the elderly target group, and to find out whether social workers in these services are missing resources for the creation of care plans. The theoretical part of this thesis describes the theoretical background of care planning in general, and with the specific target group of elderly people, and identifies gaps in practical resources for care planning. The goal of the research was to find out how social workers in home care work with the topic of care planning, which resources they use, and which parts of care planning they find challenging. The research was conducted using qualitative content analysis on the sample of nine interviews with social workers employed by home care services. The analysis of the research then confirms the dependency of social workers on the internal resources of their organizations. Thesis home for seniors is processed in the form of project documentation which comprises all the requisites required by current regulations. Designed home for seniors is placed on the site number 253/4 in Tabor. The building has four floors. The facility is located 64 residential units social care and facilities for the elderly. Constructional system is from lime-sand bricks, prestressed concrete ceiling panels, flat roof, wooden girder trusses. Building has contact thermal insulation system.

Apartment Building Front Street closes and completes residential block. There are shops, facilities of the apartment building and garage. Above the shops are perched three floors forward of mass housing with 13 apartments.

Designed house for seniors is located between the villages Lomnicka u Tišnova and Šerkovice. The building has four floors. The facility is located 42 residential units social care and facilities for the elderly. The structural system consists of reinforced concrete frame and masonry infill ceramic blocks. The entire building is equipped with a contact system. The roof structure consists of lattice trusses and metal roofing.

Subject of this thesis is an urban and architectural design of buildings vacant lot at the corner intersection of streets Brabansko - A small splint near the city center of Přerov. Apartment Building Front Street closes and completes residential block. Corner is cantilevered, giving rise to leeward before. There are shops, facilities of the apartment building and garage. Above the shops are perched three floors forward of mass housing with 15 apartments. The analysis of the city has shown that in Prerov is not a retirement home and no day care. So I decided to tackle this problem. The rear wing of the house serves as a single health center. It has its own entrance, its core communications and access from the garage. Its components except surgeries and rehabilitation is the seat of nursing services. Its main role would be serving the elders who live in their homes. Nurses would be goung out for them, helping with housework, taking clothes to laundry, etc. These care services are already operating in other cities and enjoying great popularity. Residential house is inside the health center connected. Given the proximity care services are particularly suitable housing for the elders. Therefore, the flats designed to lay with disabilities. All apartments are with 2 bedrooms for one or two people. Each dwelling unit has a spacious balcony overlooking the waterfront.

ResPublica/Civitas Socialis - Strachotín

The house is located in a quiet part of Strachotín. The plot itself is now used as agricultural land. The bio corridor belt creates a natural dominance around the area and ensures safe drainage of water during torrential rains. The concept is based on a wide range of services and care. The home for seniors will become part of the life of all seniors in the village and nearby. Supporting home-based autonomy allows seniors to live in their own home and only use the services that are available. Visits and social activities are a matter of course. Accommodation in the house itself will preferably be provided to seniors who require constant care. The operating standard of the home is designed to a very good standard. The home offers a barrier-free environment, single or double rooms. Meeting rooms are an important part of the house, along with a garden and bathing biotope. Separate living from operation guarantees a high level of privacy and allows direct contact with the garden.

The aim of urban concept is filling the area to make the best of the place and upgrade the importance of the spot and also to stabilize the surroundings.

Field care services in the Šluknov region

This diploma thesis deals with field social care services in the Šluknov region, the border region of the Ústí nad Labem County. The theoretical part of the thesis focuses on mapping regional coverage by the field care service providers and identifying obstacles to the development of their capacities. One of the possible barriers to the development of providers' capacities is considered the insufficient demand from the target group, due to unfamiliarity of new concepts of field care. The aim of the empirical part of this diploma thesis is therefore to know the attitude of potential clients towards field care services and to find out the preferences of personal care type. Data collected by qualitative questioning techniques are analysed by triple coding and interpretation of resulting categories and their relationships. Research findings concludes that there is distrust amongst potential clients towards field care services and show a significant degree of unfamiliarity with these services. People in need for care in the region tend to prefer the established way of solution, i.e. to care with their own strength, then use the offer of residential care services. This diploma thesis deals with the perception of seniors who are clients of care services in Pilsen-north. The main aim of this thesis is to identify the fulfillment of expectations of the clients of care services in Pilsen-north. The theoretical part of the thesis is supported by the study of professional literature corresponding to the topic, and focuses on the definition of terms such as nursing services, social services for seniors, senior as a client and locality of Pilsen-north. The practical part of this thesis is devoted to the evaluation of research questions through a qualitative research strategy. The necessary data were collected with the help of interviews with seniors, who are clients of the Care Services of the city Kaznějov.
