Golf Ball Flight Simulation and Visualization
Opletal, Petr ; Beran, Vítězslav (referee) ; Španěl, Michal (advisor)
This diploma thesis deals with the simulation and vizualization of a golf ball flight. The final application is powered by the Unity engine and the PhysX physics library. The application includes the implementation of basic golf ball aerodynamics and advanced vizualization including simple gaming logic. The final solution can be used as a part of a cheap golf simulator. The text contains a theoretical introduction, existing solutions, basics of golf ball aerodynamics, an application design, the creation of courses and implementations. The conclusion of the diploma thesis describes experiments with the final solution and summarizes the achieved results.
Proposal of 3D Electronic Catologue
Špaček, Ondřej ; Dvořák,, Jiří (referee) ; Dvořák, Jiří (advisor)
This Bachelor's thesis deals proposal of 3D electronic catalogue solution of private company. The work affords theoretic base of 3D modeling and methods 3D modeling uses. There is account of some options for display 3D graphics by 2D display devices. The work describes basic axiom of HTML, CSS and PHP languages too.
The making of 3D electronics catalogs
Spousta, Martin ; Dvořák,, Jiří (referee) ; Dvořák, Jiří (advisor)
This Bachelor thesis deals with problems of making 3D electronics catalogues for their widely usage. It contains the description of current level of electronics catalogues, theoretical solution of the problem with description of advantages, disadvantages and warrant of new solution. It contains the practical solution as well.
Climbing Wall Design and Visualization
Náplava, Tomáš ; Polok, Lukáš (referee) ; Žák, Pavel (advisor)
This bachelor's thesis deals with design and implementation of a program for climbing wall modeling. Application is written in programming language Python and it is a plug-in for professional graphics program Blender. It allows user to create a model of a wall in rapidly small amount of time, not demanding any deep knowledge of using Blender. Model can be textured, its surface covered with hand holds and the whole scene can be enriched with other accessories. The core of the program consists in space handler script which evaluates events coming from the user.
BOIDS Method for Swarm Simulation
Burda, Radek ; Král, Jiří (referee) ; Zbořil, František (advisor)
This work primarily deals with C.Reynolds's model of flocking -BOIDS - and uses the model as a basis for creating a swarm simulation. It discusses methods for obstacle avoidance and principle of forces arbitration (flocking rules, obstacle avoidance and goal satisfying) to properly avoid conflicting of behaviours. Furhermore some of other approaches to flocking simulation are mentioned while their pros and cons are taken up. Last but not least proceeding of creating a graphic environment in Blender for demonstrating boids behavior in the final 3D application is described.
Human Face Mimics
Melicher, Alexander ; Chudý, Peter (referee) ; Jošth, Radovan (advisor)
Bachelor's thesis is concerned with the demonstration of human facial gestures, which has been frequently used in developement of computer games and animated movies. The main brief of work was to create 3D model in open-source graphic software Blender. Subsequently, an application for loading of the created model and displaying the model on the screen was developed using a rendering algorithm. The application allow user to create common facial gestures by simple keyboard control. A technigue for moving the vertices was applied to some delimited areas on the face.
Mesh Generating Plugin for Blender
Černák, Michal ; Chudý, Peter (referee) ; Žák, Pavel (advisor)
This work describes automatic generation of trees in open-source 3D graphics application Blender. It also concerns different techniques for generating plants and method.
Advanced Rendering Techniques in OpenGL 2.0
Salajka, Vojtěch ; Havel, Jiří (referee) ; Švub, Miroslav (advisor)
This thesis deals with the interactive computer graphics on programmable hardware. The usage of shaders for creation of graphic effects is demonstrated by examples. It is explained how to use OpenGL library and GLSL language for their implementation. A new 3D model format was developed for the purposes of the examples.
Graphics Intro 64kB Using OpenGL
Burkot, Martin ; Polok, Lukáš (referee) ; Herout, Adam (advisor)
This thesis deals with the creation of minimal graphics intro. Intro size is not extending 64kB. The base of the intro is procedurally generated terrain supplemented with procedural vegetation and texture representing clouds. It also has terrain texture and imported 3D models. As background music is music playing.
Blender Tutorial
Tomšík, Filip ; Žák, Pavel (referee) ; Kubíček, Radek (advisor)
This thesis focuses on the increasingly popular shareware Blender which has growing application possibilities in various branches. The thesis aims at a general description of basic modelling techniques working with mesh objects as well as curves used for creating models and computer graphics. Part of the thesis is dedicated to a description of animation abilities of the programme, an outline of dierent methods and a more detailed description of correspondent modules. The central point of the thesis is to introduce the reader to the basic and advanced modelling techniques and their use in Blender, in the form of a tutorial.
