Principles of organic pig breeding
SKYPALOVÁ, Michaela
The objective of this study is to locate and gather available information about organic farming in the Czech republic. There are several interesting aspects of the world environment friendly economy. In the introduction chapter development swine-breeding and pork consumption in our country is outlined. The main part of this study compares the difference between conventional farming and organic farming. Considerable part of this work is focused on various categories of pigs with the emphasis on welfare. Principles of group housing of sows and piglets are also mentioned, as well as an outdoor pig housing, which is still only marginally used in the Czech Republic. The work includes principles of nutrition and feeding pigs in each categories of pigs according to ecological principles, which are very different from the normal feeding on the basis of complete feed mixtures. The work also describes the principles of slaughtering animals in organic farming. It is irreplaceable that swine-breeding is not subsidized, only through arable land, which produces feed. The question is whether the subsidy is sufficient at higher field intensity of production and consequently organic swine-breeding.
Opportunity or threat? Development projects for citizens in the village Obříství in 2015
Harkabuzová, Zuzana ; Barák, Vladimír (advisor) ; Sunega, Petr (referee)
Development projects are relatively new phenomenon in the housing market in the Czech Republic and currently leads to their expansion, particularly in Prague. This paper is about the subjective perception of citiziens about development projects in the village Obříství and this is based on the theoretical foundation of project management and activities of developer. In this work is used a quantitative research with the technique of a written questionnaire with analysis of the facts. The results showed that people perceive the impact of development projects on local life as a threat rather than an opportunity. Generally citizens are largely satisfied with the life in the village and the quality of services.
Bayesovský odhad DSGE modelů
Bouda, Milan ; Pánková, Václava (advisor) ; Kodera, Jan (referee) ; Lukáš, Ladislav (referee)
Thesis is dedicated to Bayesian Estimation of DSGE Models. Firstly, the history of DSGE modeling is outlined as well as development of this macroeconometric field in the Czech Republic and in the rest of the world. Secondly, the comprehensive DSGE framework is described in detail. It means that everyone is able to specify or estimate arbitrary DSGE model according to this framework. Thesis contains two empirical studies. The first study describes derivation of the New Keynesian DSGE Model and its estimation using Bayesian techniques. This model is estimated with three different Taylor rules and the best performing Taylor rule is identified using the technique called Bayesian comparison. The second study deals with development of the Small Open Economy Model with housing sector. This model is based on previous study which specifies this model as a closed economy model. I extended this model by open economy features and government sector. Czech Republic is generally considered as a small open economy and these extensions make this model more applicable to this economy. Model contains two types of households. The first type of consumers is able to access the capital markets and they can smooth consumption across time by buying or selling financial assets. These households follow the permanent income hypothesis (PIH). The other type of household uses rule of thumb (ROT) consumption, spending all their income to consumption. Other agents in this economy are specified in standard way. Outcomes of this study are mainly focused on behavior of house prices. More precisely, it means that all main outputs as Bayesian impulse response functions, Bayesian prediction and shock decomposition are focused mainly on this variable. At the end of this study one macro-prudential experiment is performed. This experiment comes up with answer on the following question: is the higher/lower Loan to Value (LTV) ratio better for the Czech Republic? This experiment is very conclusive and shows that level of LTV does not affect GDP. On the other hand, house prices are very sensitive to this LTV ratio. The recommendation for the Czech National Bank could be summarized as follows. In order to keep house prices less volatile implement rather lower LTV ratio than higher.
The Analysis of the Czech mortgage market from the 90s to the present focused on comparison of housing financing options
Kučerová, Viola ; Šimíček, Petr (advisor) ; Prudká, Šárka (referee)
The bachelor's thesis deals with the problematic of profitability of one's own housing. More precisely, it compares the purpose credit products e.g. mortgage and building society with paying rent. The research of literature, comparison and analysis were used as a methodologic basement of the thesis. Using all the gathered information and model calculations, I came to conclusion that the best and most profitable option of financing one's own housing is a mortgage. The future benefit provided by this work is the detailed introduction of all individual possibilities of financing the housing including the current tariffs.

Machulda, Petr ; Poláková, Olga (advisor) ; Štekláč, Jiří (referee)
The aim of this thesis is to analyze the historical development of housing policy since the end of the 19th to the late 20th century in the Czech Republic and its influence on the development of the housing capacity. The theoretical part describes the historical development of housing and its importance in human life. The following part is dedicated to the development of housing policy, its instruments and objectives. Next parts are focused on specific historical periods starting from Austria-Hungary, when the state first intervened significantly in the housing sector, through the First World War, interwar period, World War II, socialism and the transition period. For the purposes of this analysis are used contemporary legislative sources, statistical data and resources dealing with the historical development of the Czech Republic.
The analyse of cattle breeding in an enterprise - case study
HORA, Ondřej
This work deals with an analysis of breeding cattle in the agricultural cooperative Agra Březnice u Bechyně. Data on milk production and reproduction was obtained from records of performance tests and livestock records. The results of performance and reproduction in the years 2010 to 2012 shows that the monitored breeding achieved when compared to the average population of Czech Pied cattle bred in the Czech Republic, above-average values. The efficiency of milk production in the reporting period increased by an average of 394 kg. Milk composition is at the population level. The fat content was in the period, on average, 0.02% lower and the protein content was about 0.01% lower than the values of the population in the Czech Republic. The reproduction of purebred breeding is used in a closed herd turnover. The reproductive performance achieves significantly less value than the population average length of service period. The other reproductive indicators, with the exception of insemination index reached in the period better values than the average of these values achieved in the Czech Republic. The results showed that the most common reason for withdrawal from dairy herds are problems with disease of the legs and udder disease. These problems need to be addressed in the short term better approach to monitoring and prevention in the long term appears to be the most important completion of a new barn. The breeding value of bulls used in reproduction was satisfactory level.
The impact of technology on the health of housing in selected dairy farming.
SOCHOR, Luboš
This thesis focuses on the impact of technology on the health of housing hooves. The object of this work was to develop a literary summary of the available literature on this topic.
