ALU Built-In Self Test
Bednář, Jaroslav ; Růžička, Richard (referee) ; Drábek, Vladimír (advisor)
This work deals with faults, errors and failures, which can occur during manufacturing and long term operation. Work describes the various failures and fault models. There are some approaches to get fault tolerant systems, mainly in hardware. The thesis continues with a summary of methods for ALU software testing. The last chapter is about tests generation for microcontroller MSP430.
Research into influence of input error format on localization process WSN
Pečenka, Ondřej ; Stančík, Peter (referee) ; Holešinský, Pavel (advisor)
The diploma thesis is focused on two localization algorithms, iterative algorithm, and a linked algorithm simulated in MATLAB. Further, the investigation of the influence of input errors on the errors in localization of sensor nodes examined algorithms and explore possible relationships between the input errors and localization errors. Subsequently are submitted possible ways to optimize and their results.
House water meters
Zvejška, Tomáš ; Tureček, Jan (referee) ; Ručka, Jan (advisor)
Bachelor´s thesis is focused to measurement accuracy of House water meters at very low flows. There are some errors during these flows. It´s not known what the values of these errors become, yet. The goal of my thesis is assessment of these errors. Results have been achieved through laboratory measurements.
Testing process and quality of application for banking systems
Hanesová, Andrea ; Vencovský, Filip (advisor) ; Eichlerová, Hana (referee)
Testing is an important part of the software development of bank systems. Agile methodologies today are becoming more popular among computer programmers when developing software for bank institutions. The waterfall development on the other hand is becoming less attractive. The difference between them is in their approach to particular stages of development. This thesis focuses on the testing stage and illustrates this phase on a specific project. There is also a definition of testing processes in a project and his place in development, the role of test team and its responsibilities, and also problems which can be caused by choosing one of the methodologies.
Analysis of errors in process diagrams and diagrams related to them
Kugler, Filip ; Svatoš, Oleg (advisor) ; Samec, Marek (referee)
The aim of this thesis is to initiate the reader into the business process modelling and error analysis when creating them. In the beginning, the work deals with the theory of business processes reengineering, methodologies, standards, CASE tools and subsequently with modeling itself. The contribution of this thesis lies in the error assessment of process diagrams and diagrams related to them based on the type division with possible consequences of errors and techniques how to avoid them with the use of methodologies or CASE tools.
Analysis and evaluation of communication streams in application support
Čihák, Michael ; Střížová, Vlasta (advisor) ; Kastner, Pavel (referee)
Diploma thesis is focused on evaluation of communication streams in the process of application support also known under the term IT support. Thesis is divided into three main parts: In the first part outlines the topic of application support. The definition of term, relation between business and IT and defining the position of application support in the process of information system development along with support services methodologies. The second part is focused on description of typical user of application support, from the side of sponsor as well as from the side of supplier. The following are the main communication streams between both sides as well as inside the supplier team. The third, practical part contains an analysis of application support on a specific project. Discussed are communication barriers, their impact including suggestions for improvement.
Návrh optimalizace uživatelského testování v České pojišťovně
Boháčová, Jana ; Svatá, Vlasta (advisor) ; Říhová, Zora (referee)
The subject of this thesis is testing of the information system. The testing is viewed as a specific part of the project, which should be described by a process. In the first part of this thesis the general concept of testing is described, it also contains basic ideas about its importance and basic concepts related to it. There are defined basic categories and testing techniques. There is also suggestion of structure of test team, individual roles within the team and general model of testing. The second part is a practical one, which deals with the project of development of payment systems within Česká pojišťovna. There are defined main problems in testing, which are solved by the proposed changes -- new organization of the project, new roles and new processes. In conclusion, these changes are evaluated whether they are positive or negative, and whether problems were resolved.
Mistakes and errors in giving of the nursing care
TOMANOVÁ, Dana
In this bachelor{\crq}s work are presented the problems including some mistakes and errors during providing nursing care. The target of investigation was to identificate the most common mistakes in nurses` establish errors in the frame of nursing care then to identificate whether the public have ever met these mistakes in medical care. For conversion necessary information was chosen quantity research by questionary. There were determinated two research complexes. The first one were nurses who study adult education at the Health Social College in České Budějovice and second one were respondent of the public from South Bohemia Region.
XML error indication improvement possibilities
Kyncl, Jan ; Kosek, Jiří (advisor) ; Nálevka, Petr (referee)
The main point of this thesis is the option to improve the indication of an error in XML documents for SAX. The thesis could be divided into three parts. The first part describes parsers from the theoretic point of view. The second part is about SAX and current forms of reporting the occurrences of errors in XML documents. The last part is about my program JKER. This program is able to indicate the occurrence of an error using XPath expression.
Methodology of Testing Web Applications
Šplíchalová, Marcela ; Buchalcevová, Alena (advisor) ; Hostomský, Stanislav (referee)
The principle aim of this thesis is to create an unified methodical framework for a smaller Software Testing Department. Furthermore, its aim is to define and describe an important element of testing - the software mistake, define the way of its reporting and finally with the view of it to specify the troubleshooting areas of web applications. The last aim is to find a solution of how to publish this methodology. The aims of this thesis were reached by studying available theoretical findings and applications of principles that are known from notorious and approved methodologies which complexly focus on the software development. These principles were confronted with author's practical experience. Based on these processes, the methodology described above has been originated The contribution of the thesis is in the inner structure of the methodology, summarization of the most important information, application of practical personal experiences and adapting some elements of the methodology according to its usage in a small team. Other strong points are the proposals and recommendations of how to improve the situation on the testing department of a particular company, how to publish the methodology and how to maintain it in the future. The thesis is composed of three main parts. In the first chapter, the essential characteristics of testing, models of the life cycle of software development, sorts and levels of tests are given. The second chapter is the crucial part of the thesis. It describes the whole methodology - the main workflow and its details (processes), activities made during these processes, roles occurring in the methodology and the description of its responsibility (for activities and artefacts), artefacts made on the testing department, full description of mistake and its reporting and finally the summary of mistakes appearing in the web applications environment. The last chapter attends to the way of putting the methodology into operation - technical coverage of particular parts of the methodology in the present time, suggestion of improvement the testing in the future and possibilities of the publication of the methodology.
