Performance management in MobilKom, a.s.

The thesis includes theoretical knowledge in matters of performance management issues as one of the promising management approaches. The thesis seeks to capture a comprehensive view of job performance and its relationship to other business processes and systems. In the first part of the thesis there are described the principles of performance management concept, methods and trends in performance management, motivation, planning, performance assessment, remuneration and staff development in relation to job performance. The second part focuses on the analysis of performance management in MobilKom, a.s. The aim of this thesis is to analyze and evaluate the performance management system in MobilKom, a. s. and formulation of proposals for its optimization.
Motivation of employees in the organization in Belarus

My work covers the phenomenon of employee motivation as no one can doubt that human resources are one of the most important factors for every company. The purpose of this study is to analyse and evaluate techniques for employee motivation, used by the company NEVEL, to determine the factors, influencing the performance level of the employees and to propose an effective system of stimuli, especially in the field of remuneration, which is one of the main motivational tool in developing countries. This work investigates the motivational tools , used in the company NEVEL that is founded in Belarus. Data collection for the analysis of employee motivation was carried out with the help of questionnaire. The theoretical part of my work is devoted to the explanation of the notion of motivation, to the description of such motivation models as Herzberguv two-factors model, X and Y theories, depending on McGregor, ERG-ALderfera theories, equilibrium theory etc.
Remuneration and providing of employee benefits in Danone, a.s.

The aim of this thesis is to examine the staff remuneration in an enterprise. The theme is mainly focused on the field of employee benefits. The practical part solves the implementation of a new benefit scheme in a particular organization in a wider framework. It aims to provide an illustration of a significant bond between the tendency of the market and employees remuneration. It also covers the bond between culture of a particular organization and of employee remuneration. The real data reflecting external and internal environment of this organization and captured in a concrete time period are used in this thesis, additionally, the measurements used in business practises are mentioned.
Regulation of payroll accounting in the Czech Republic

Thesis deals with regulation of payroll accounting in the Czech Republic in corporate sector. It defines broad issue of labour-law, wage, tax and accounting regulations focused on these problems and it works up basic principles which the employer must abide by. It is mainly focused on regulations valid in 2009 and it refers to the most important changes in particular spheres of payroll accounting. The thesis is finished with practical examples of correct wage calculation and booking of processed wages.

The purpose of this dissertation is to review the work of the personnel department at a chosen company. The theoretical-methodological part contains the description of the personnel dep. activity with the regard to the importance for a small company. The analytical part includes the analysis of the current process of the individual personnel activities and the description of the revealed weaknesses. The final part summarize the found facts and contains my recommendations to the member of the personnel department.
How to recruite and retain quality workers in the ICT business

The thesis is focused on describing the procedures through which organizations can acquire and retain high-quality long-term workers in the ICT sector. Most of the described procedures can be easily transfered to other industries. Brand new approaches that can be applied in the process of recruitment, are discussed as well, specifically, the possibility of using online social networks such as Facebook, LinkedIn or Twitter. Outsourcing is another, fairly new option of acquiring employees. An example of such a service is oDesk. The following part of the work describes the processes that are used in recruitment and retaining the skilled employees in the Unicorn company, which is the major producer of software in the Czech Republic. Despite Unicorn`s long-term achievements and experience in implementing the various human resources management and other related activities in order to acquire and maintain high-quality employees, the author was able to formulate specific proposals and recommendations that may contribute to their further improvement and streamlining. These recommendations are subject to the final part of the thesis.

The main target of the thesis is to describe and evaluate personal activities and to propose measures, which would lead to improvement of personal work in the company.

Transition of small company into middle-sized company - change management in the management of work output

This master thesis deals with problems of changes in the management of human resources connected to an expansion of a company. It focuses on small and middle-sized companies. The first part describes theoretical principles of company growth, change management and specifics of small and middle-sized companies, including differences in human resources management. The second part describes some practical examples in the field of company growth and related changes. Different attitudes and ways applied to implement changes while solving growth problems are shown on the sample of two selected companies Each of the two companies finally developed in an opposite way, depending on how they had implemented changes. The first company continues its development as a middle-sized company and the latter bankrupted. Analysis of reasons of the success or failure while managing the growth is a part of this master thesis.
