TITLE: Romany children education in Czech school system and its realization in Náchod AUTHOR: Jan Vajsar DEPRATMENT: Primary Education Department SUPERVISOR: prof. PaedDr. Radka Wildová, CSc. ABSTRACT This dissertation is a proposal of a strategical model for romany`s pupils education in Czech school system. This dissertation is conceived for primary and lower secondary schools teachers. Our goal was to make a model of the work with romany pupils which could be applied with some modifications for any basic schools where romany pupils are educated. It has been located to Náchod. It is a town where the current situation in education can be used as a good example for the similar educational problems we can observe in other towns of the Czech Republic. The dissertation includes many methodical suggestions which are designed for simple and useful practicing at schools. These suggestions should be used in order to solve various problems teachers still have and will probably have with Romany pupils. Comparison of biometric identification systems of the financial and user perspective

This bachelor thesis deals with comparing identification systems of the financial and user perspective. The first part of the bachelor thesis deals with history of each selected biometric systems. There were selected those four biometric systems: 3D facial scans, fingerprint scans the eye and hand geometry. Furthermore, the thesis explains the concepts of identification and verification, to avoid confusion. Subsequently, the selected biometric methods are described and explained on what principle works. In the practical part were chosen specific individual readers of biometric systems. Based on their evaluation of the user and the financial individual readers compared to each other. For clarity, have been created tables with technical parameters of individual biometric readers. For the evaluation was created a table with specific parameters and using multi-criteria analysis has been selected user and financially friendliest biometric reader.

Recognizing people using esoteric identification

The bachelor´s thesis deals with the issue of esoteric systems which belong to biometric systems. The first part of the thesis contains a basic introduction to the characteristics and dividing of biometric systems. From the biometric systems there are chosen five methods, in which are described the basic characteristics and principles of operation. Furthermore, in the thesis are assessed security risks of biometric systems in general and esoteric identification systems. There are also evaluated user aspect of the esoteric systems, which is an important part of their application in practice. The final evaluation is the economic´s one, in which is assessed the economic aspects in general, afterwards there are evaluated the finger vein recognition devices and then there is compared the prize of the three different devices: One of the area of the esoteric systems and two more, which from the biometrics methods are commonly used in the market.

Access to Railway Platform for Wheelchair User

The bachelor’s thesis focuses on wheelchair accessible survey at railway stations. It has been chosen a few different kind of stations which are marked as physically disabled accessible. Railway stations have been thoroughly visited, gauged and explored. The main intention was to solve these problems as an activity chain performed by people at railway stations. It means everything from passengers arrival, do all steps in a station building, to passengers access to platforms and after that getting on the train. Due to large extent of wheelchair accessible, this thesis has only focused on wheelchair users.
