Employee benefits in the context of economic crisis

The bachelor´s thesis focuses on employee benefits in connection with economic crisis. The aim of this work was to identify and assess how the economic crisis that proceded last year reflected on providing of employee benefits in a case of specific subjects, especially in the providing of tax benefits. I made effort to select two large companies that provide great deal of benefits for employees, had plenty of staff and were form different spheres of business. The theoretical part contains a description of employee benefits, its types, division from several perspectives, tax issues and basic characterization. The analytical part describes development of benefits provided by the two selected companies in the years 2007 - 2010. It describes the measures made in connection with the economic crisis.
The System of the Employees´ Motivation

My final work focuses on the research of work motivation and satisfaction with the employees´ benefits in the selected company. The main aim of this bachelor thesis is to analyse the present system of the employee motivation in the Rybářství Třeboň company, to sum up the contemporary level of the employee benefits provided and make up some effective suggestions.

The first part of my bachelor's thesis focuses on the meaning of the terms motivation, job motivation and characteristics of different types of employee benefits. The second part analyzes benefits in the form of vouchers, especially their useage in tourism. In the end the analysis is completed by my own questionnaire survey. Its objective was to find out which vouchers employees get or which of them they would like to get, where the employees use the vouchers and the level of their knowledge in the sphere of voucher benefits and their usage.

This bachelor thesis deals with the area of human resources management, namely with employee motivation and employee benefits which are related to this subject. The theoretical part focuses on explanation of fundamental terms of motivation both from the general and the work-related point of view. Furthermore thesis focuses on the area of employee benefits, specifically their function, meaning and structuring. The practical part of the thesis deals with the analysis of the motivational system of a particular company operating on the Czech market. At the conclusion a concept of changes and improvements is proposed based on these findings.

In my bachelor's thesis I focus on making a company interesting for high-quality workers. My aim is to introduce the main advantages of motivation programmes profitable for both the employees and the employers. In my thesis I deal with company's contributions to retirement income insurance and investment life insurance which have become more and more popular during the last few years.
Motivation of workers of specific production in a small firm

The thesis is dealing with the motivation of human resources in a small firm producing the specialized medical equipment. The aim is to analyse the actual situation of a motivation stucture and work satisfaction through the use of an empirical research and to suggest recommendations for the improvement of this area of the company's human resource management. The theoretical part characterizes a question of work motivation, system of assessment and remuneration of workers including employee benefits. The practical part of the thesis characterizes these areas of the personnel work in the company and then it analyses factors of motivation and work satisfaction of employees. Results of the questionnaire examination are used for the suggestions of some measures for the improvement of work motivation, satisfaction and stabilisation of the company's employees.

The second practical part describes and evalutes execution of these activities in the company Lázně Poděbrady and contains proposals for improvement. The aim of this thesis is to examine the staff remuneration in an enterprise. The theme is mainly focused on the field of employee benefits. The practical part solves the implementation of a new benefit scheme in a particular organization in a wider framework. It aims to provide an illustration of a significant bond between the tendency of the market and employees remuneration. It also covers the bond between culture of a particular organization and of employee remuneration. The real data reflecting external and internal environment of this organization and captured in a concrete time period are used in this thesis, additionally, the measurements used in business practises are mentioned.
