BICKOVÁ, Marie
Bachelor thesis carrying the title Potentialities of using choral singing as a method of respiratory physiotherapy deals with the different functioning of the respiratory apparatuses at singers and non-singers. As the main aims of my work, I have determined at first to compare the function of the respiratory apparatus at the choral singers with the control group consisting of non-vocalists and secondly to observe, whether the respiratory system has a significant effect on the posture of probands. The theoretical part summarizes basic knowledge about anatomy and physiology of respiratory apparatus, respiratory mechanics, the linkage of the respiratory apparatus with the supporting movement system, then some basic knowledge about postures, respiratory physiotherapy, pulmonary rehabilitation through wind instruments and choral singing. The practical part is constructed as a qualitative research. There are eighteen case studies, nine of which contain data about choral singers and the other nine describe the control group. Each case report contains anamnestic data and a comprehensive kinesiological analysis, focusing mainly on the respiratory apparatus and also including the examination of the simulated postural activity.
Musical activities supporting speech therapy prevention of preschool children
HOLEJŠOVSKÁ, Ludmila
This bachelor thesis deals with logopaedic prevention and the development of communication skills of preschool children. My choice of the topic "Musical activities supporting logopaedic prevention in preschool children" was motivated not only by my fondness for music and singing, but also by noticeable increase in incidence of speech impediments. In today's hectic world, music and singing lost its importance that it used to have in our lives. Singing at home has become an exception despite the fact that it is crucial for the healthy development of communication skills of a child. The Theoretical part of the thesis analyses the characteristics of the speech of preschool children, it also describes the most frequent speech impediments and their prevention including musical activities. The Practical part of this bachelor thesis consists of a methodical collection called "With a song from autumn to summer" that is focused on musical activities and logopaedic prevention, which I compiled and applied in practice and in reflection.
