Critical factors affecting the business segment of web browser games

This bachelor thesis primarily focuses on formulation of critical success factors affecting the business segment of web browser games. To meet this objective are at first defined web browser games and their position on market of online games, then are described major evolution phases of this market segment on the world's scale and individually on local Czech scale. Another information source used in the thesis are findings brought by the analysis of contemporary web browser games' market -- divided into two separate players' and producers' parts. The critical success factors in the last part of the thesis are then defined by combining all of the previously gathered information with great emphasis on differences between local and foreign web browser games' producers.

The objective of the thesis "Marketing strategy of a selected tour operator" is to get acquainted with the marketing strategy of MILE tour operator aiming to propose possible improvements based on carried analysis. The first part includes general theories of marketing and its specifics in tourism. The second part is the application of this theory into practice, starting with the basic characteristics of MILE tour operator, followed by analysis of its standing in the tourism market including analysis of external and internal environment, analysis of competitors and own questionnaire research. The next part contains analysis of the tour operator's current marketing strategy. The thesis results in concrete suggestions to improve market targeting, setting goals, selecting a marketing strategy and marketing mix.

The thesis consists of the theoretical and practical part. The theoretical part focuses on the explanation of fundamental concepts related to this issue -- what business and company are, description of a successful businessman, activities which should be done before you start your own business and activities which should be avoided. After that there is the description of the most important aspects of a business plan -- its meaning, users, rules of correct elaboration, detailed structure and its appurtenances. The practical part contains of a concrete business plan of a restaurant in the region of Mělnik. It deals with a choice of a legal form of a company, optimal placing of a restaurant and its establishing, market analysis, creation of a product, planning of a proper marketing strategy, and making plan of management and financial plan with a prognosis of developement of economy for next years. The plan was created in a way to be tabled to financial institutions while a businessman needs money subvention and also to be a fundamental document for owners while they need to lead their business.

There is also explained the importance of brand essence and brand building. It also described the area, benefiting from brand valuation. The selected company is subjected to several analysis and the value of its brand is recognized by the method license analogy.

This master thesis "Brand launch of a feminine fashion brand in the Czech Republic" provides a market analysis, which is antecedent to a brand launch. The main goal of this thesis was to answer, whether the particular fashion brand is interesting for Czech female consumers and whether the Czech market is interesting for the brand. The respective brand Friis & Company offers ultra-feminine and latest trends accessories and wants to provide their customers with "a bit of luxury for every day". The target group of the brand are young women in the age of 15 to 35. The master thesis is divided into two main parts -- a theoretical part and a practical part. The theoretical part discusses, among others, the main trends and specifics of the fashion business, specifics of women's purchase decision-making and the relation of women towards fashion. The practical part introduces the brand and provides the following analyses: PEST analysis of the Czech market, analysis of consumer behaviour of young Czech women in relation to fashion accessories, analysis of fashion brands present at the Czech market and a test of the brand's concept on Czech female consumers. A large part of the practical section of the master thesis is based on own survey.
