Scientific Web Portal Generator
Bajzecer, Tomáš ; Otrusina, Lubomír (referee) ; Smrž, Pavel (advisor)
The main goal of this thesis is to create a generator of scientific web portals which makes the creation of portals much easier. The administrators of the portals will be able to show different information to specific user groups. The generator is based on modular structure that uses Nette framework (PHP), Doctrine ORM and jQuery framework (Javascript, Ajax). The portal presents the results depending on settings of each portal and its basic data is saved in local database. The local database is a stand-alone project (ReReSearch). The portal works in different modes which are classified into three categories: automatic, semi-automatic and manual mode. The priority mode is the semi-automatic. The generator works also as a feedback for the local database, which provides relevant information from specified fields of science.
Application Database Layer Generator
Kuboš, Jaroslav ; Rychlý, Marek (referee) ; Burget, Radek (advisor)
This diploma thesis deals with the design and implementation of a framework for the database persistence layer development. This framework is easy to use while keeping the code elegance. It supports object oriented programming features such as inheritance and collections. Other features include versioning of objects and lazy loading. The object metadata are obtained through reflection provided by the .NET framework. The framework is not using any literal for identification (classes, attributes) even in object queries. Most of checks are done by compiler.
Web Application Generator with Use of VIPS Algorithm
Pichler, Libor ; Rychlý, Marek (referee) ; Bartík, Vladimír (advisor)
This thesis contains description of Visual Segmentation Algorithm, which is used for dividing web page to blocks. The purpose of this segmentation is to assign functional blocks to the visual blocks. It is possible to create a data model in the system, which is part of the definition of the functional blocks. The project also contains a generator of web applications, where the design is made by user interface layer. The generated application is extendable and reusable for next development.
Modern J2EE Development Frameworks
Ondrušek, Libor ; Očenášek, Pavel (referee) ; Trchalík, Roman (advisor)
This bachelor thesis should be a simple way to show the usefulness of modern technologies for the development process of advanced enterprise applications. This work wants to introduce simple using of this technologies in practical example. The kernel of this work is theoretical analysis of Java technology, especially development frameworks like Spring and Hibernate. The theoretical part is illustrated by practical implementation.
Technologies for Persistent Objects in Java
Šenk, Zdeněk ; Burget, Radek (referee) ; Zendulka, Jaroslav (advisor)
This master thesis deals with technologies for persistence of objects in Java. It briefly describes options of persistence of objects into files and further especially modern technologies for persistence of objects into database systems, particularly relational. It describes JDBC technology, framework Hibernate, application interface JDO, SQLJ technology, frameworks OJB and TopLink in detail and briefly the other tools. The emphasis is especially put on their usage, which is illustrated by amount of examples, their properties comparison and recommendation for the application building. The other part of thesis deals with life phases of information system development, where the differences of usage of JDBC and Hibernate, their mutual comparison from different points of view, importance of software architecture and design patterns for the application development in J2EE are presented.
Modular CMS System for Web Management
Dušek, David ; Očenášek, Pavel (referee) ; Trchalík, Roman (advisor)
The content of this thesis is the design and implementation of system for managing website. At first we define term content management system and existing open-source systems of this type are discussed. Then we determinate the requirements for the designed system, including an application that enables centralized management of updates, operating on different domains. In the next part we design architecture of system and implement it with using Nette framework and database layer Doctrine.
Framework for Dynamic Information System Creating
Dziadzio, Pavel ; Jirák, Ota (referee) ; Ruttkay, Ladislav (advisor)
This thesis analyzes and defines requirements of framework, which helps with quick and effortless development of business information systems. The main goal of the framework is development acceleration, price reduction and overall improvement of product quality. The thesis also compares and evaluates existing tools. The result is detailed design and implementation of own flexible solution that fulfills all defined requirements and removes disadvantages of existing solutions. In the scope for further studies framework development possibilities and directions are listed.
30-day Challenge
Přibylová, Kateřina ; Szőke, Igor (referee) ; Beran, Vítězslav (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with the design and implementation of a web-based application whose job is to fight procrastination and help the user achieve goals using 30-day challenges. This work addresses the problems of putting off or delaying something that requires immediate attention and analyzes similar existing solutions on the market. The development of the application focuses most on user-friendliness, intuitive control and responsiveness. The problems of maintaining users active and motivated are solved by using gamification and socialization elements. The application is implemented through modern web technologies. The end of the thesis mentions a testing process and the future of the application.
Object-Relational Mapping on PHP Platform
Mokruša, Petr ; Rychlý, Marek (referee) ; Burget, Radek (advisor)
The thesis deals with an issue of object-relational mapping on the PHP platform. The first part contains general description of the ORM technology including design patterns meant for the technology. In the next part are described the two most important ORM frameworks - Doctrine 2 and Propel. The thesis is focused on Doctrine 2 as this framework is used in an exemplary application which represents how can be the ORM technology integrated to a project and how it can be effectively used. The aim of this thesis is to introduce the ORM technology to readers and to motivate them to use the ORM technology in their projects.
Web Game Portal
Kubíček, Martin ; Křivka, Zbyněk (referee) ; Burget, Radek (advisor)
The subject of this thesis is the design and reconstruction of the already existing ImmortalFighters web portal system. The thesis analyses in detail the current system in order to prevent errors right from the start of the proposed changes in design. As part of the proposed change, a new database and a new site structure were created. The nature and logic of the Dungeons & Dragons fantasy game and the possibility of using modern object-oriented technology for use in the web-based versions were explored. An analysis was made of possible technologies that are or have the capability of object-oriented design, and could therefore be used for the actual implementation. The most suitable technology was then chosen for this according to very clearly defined criteria. The work also presents the proposed changes that arise from analysis and personal experience accumulated from a long-term presence on the web portal. The practical part of the proposal is done using special technology - the Symfony 2 and Doctrine 2 PHP frameworks of an object-relational model, so that significant improvement and fundamental differences as compared the current solutions were clearly seen.
