Study of Purchasing Function in a Production Company

The aim of this work is the study of buying positions in manufacturing companies of the food industry. The work focuses on the current situation of the company, its purchasing function linked to warehousing inventory and manufacturing process. Partial aim is to present proposals for improving the current shopping feature. I reached these proposals through analyzes internal and external environment, and also using more detailed look at the inventory, the enterprise and its suppliers. Finally, I made proposals which should help the company improve the current situation, not only in terms of shopping.

Tato diplomová práce se zabývá návrhem a analýzou strategie vstupu společnosti RENOCAR, a.s. na slovenský trh. Práce obsahuje přehled související literatury s důrazem na publikace, které se zabývají problematikou internacionalizace firem a vstupem společností na zahraniční trh. Analytická část zkoumá momentální situaci na trhu s automobily v České a Slovenské republice a stručně představuje toto průmyslové odvětví z evropského pohledu. Pomocí základních finančních ukazatelů pak hodnotí současný stav ve společnosti RENOCAR, a.s. Na základě výsledků získaných z výše uvedených analýz, autor ve třetí části práce navrhuje a kriticky analyzuje strategii expanze společnosti.

The theoretical part provides knowledge in the field of financial analysis, external and internal analysis. The analytical part is focused on the essential steps for a detailed evaluation of the financial health of the company, including assessment of business environment and calculation of financial indicators. In the last part of the thesis are demonstrated suggestions for the improvement of the unfavourable situation.
Marketing of a trading company

The aim of this thesis is to analyse the marketing activities of the company Eljet s.r.o. The theoretical part defines methods used for correct external environment analysis of a target market. This part also provides information on the marketing mix instruments and the types of competitive strategies. The practical part, which is based on the conclusions from the theoretical part, describes the current marketing activities of the Eljet company and its current position on the Czech market. Based on that, the goals and plans for future marketing promotion are established. Some of the conclusions of the analysis led to specific steps, which helped to improve the situation of the company. Proposals of new marketing activities have become the real future plans.

This bachelor thesis analyzes comparative advertisement made by Hyundai. This thesis analyzes both external and internal environment of the company. The means to achieve this are SWOT analysis and PESTLE analysis. Those analysis help to understand motivation of Hyundai to differentiate their products. Thesis also explains advantages and disadvantages of comparative advertising and its risks and opportunities. In further reading are analyzed notable comparative commercials from the past. Thesis is divided into theoretical part and practical part. In the theoretical part are explained keywords necessary for the practical part. The practical part utilizes knowledge from the theoretical part. In the conclusion of the practical part is evaluated effectiveness of the comparative advertisement and its impact on sales.
Current business environment of Chile

This diploma thesis aims to analyse the current state of the Chilean business environment and highlight the benefits, opportunities as well as possible threats of the Chilean market for Czech exporters. The work is divided into four chapters. The initial definition of the business environment and the determination of used methods is followed by the actual analysis of the business environment. PESTLE analysis is used to explore the political, economic, socio-cultural, technological, environmental and legal environment of the country. The outputs are processed using SWOT analysis. The third chapter focuses on the relationship of the Czech Republic and Chile, and the fourth part contains three case studies designed to identify specific sectors that are promising for Czech exporters.
Strategic analysis of Czech republic´s wine industry

The aim of the thesis is to analyze Czech republic's wine industry environment. Models used in the thesis are typical for strategic analysis and examine both macro and micro view of the examined entreprises. Firstly the PESTLE analysis will be conducted, describing political, economical, social, technological, legal and ecological aspects relevant to the industry within the Czech republic. Secondly I focus on the particular characteristics of the analyzed sector in terms of product differentiation, market size, competition, distribution channels and expected future trends. This characteristic also covers the financial sector analysis as well as value and bankruptcy models. Third section covers Porter five forces analysis and defines impact of new competitors, customers, suppliers, substitutes as well as existing competition. Last section consist of the SWOT analysis of identified market leader. It describes his strengths and weaknesses, and based on previous analyzes formulates opportunities and threats for the industry in which he is located.
