Cogeneration plants on vegetable oil
Macoszek, Pavel ; Baxant, Petr (referee) ; Radil, Lukáš (advisor)
The thesis is focused on cogeneration units on vegetable oil. The first chapter contains basic information about the production, supply and consumption of electric energy in the Czech Republic and about renewable energy sources. The following chapter is devoted to possibilities of use oil kinds of phytomass in the Czech Republic, or products made from them. Next chapter is mentioned on legislation allowing the use of used cooking oils for energy purposes. It contains a summary of the laws and regulations and options regarding subsidies for electric and heat power. The main objective of these chapters is to explain the issue of the establishment and operation of cogeneration units on vegetable oil. The following chapters are devoted to the design and study of simultaneously operated cogeneration unit on the vegetable oil with a combustion engine and the calculation of economic operation running. The reason of study is to evaluation, which on based of the input values and calculation methods determine the economic efficiency of the project cogeneration unit on vegetable oil under mode purchase price and mode green bonus. Appreciation is also given to the overall legal review and responsibilities of cogeneration units on vegetable oil.
Different use of the wind energy.
Lakva, Petr ; Boráň, Jaroslav (referee) ; Jícha, Jaroslav (advisor)
The target of this bachelor study is describing basic type of renewable sources of energy. Emphasis is put on wind energy. Another part is description of different types of wind generators. In the last part study deals with problem of accumulation of wind energy for later use, thanks to compression of air in the underground mines.
Vliv OZE na spotovou cenu elektřiny
Albrechtová, Aneta ; Mirvald, Michal (advisor) ; Čermáková, Klára (referee)
This bachelor's thesis investigate how electricity from renewable energy sources changes the price of electricity on wholesale market. I used data from the Germany in the year 2013 and because of high correlation between the Czech and the German wholesale price of electricity. Therefore I assume that the same effect operate also in the Czech Republic. By using a regression analysis, I prove that an increase in the RES, precisely wind and photovoltaic, electricity production does significantly lowers the price of electricity on wholesale market. Results show that size of consumption, prise of gas and price of allowances have a significant impact on wholesale price.
Summary and analysis of the acquis communautaire and the domestic law in the area of renewable energy sources
Divoký, Zdeněk ; Štěpánek, Petr (advisor) ; Černý, Pavel (referee)
The goal of this diploma's thesis is to analyze legal regulation of renewable energy sources in a context of environmental and energy law, up to the scale of subordinate legislation. The work presents summary analysis of the past and present developments in the energy law in connection to the actual problems in this field. This work gives comprehensive overlook of the legal regulation including legal regulation of the subsidies and usage of the renewable sources of energy. The overlook of recent history describes the original regulation by law regulation, as well as changes in the legal regulation connected to the changing cost of renewable energy. The first chapter gives the definition of terms, the second chapter is about European law in the area of the renewable energy sources. The third chapter focuses on the domestic legal regulation of Czech Republic. The fourth chapter brings analysis of renewable energy sources concerning other Community policies like energy security and environmental law and the fifth chapter looks into present tendency in the legislation sphere in context with present issues.
Conscription of electricity from solar radiation and its impact on manufacturers
LEBEDOVÁ, Michaela
Main topic of this thesis is implementation of a new levy on electrocity generated by solar radiation, so called solar tax, which was imlemented in 2011 to affect all solar power stations starting their operations between years 2009-2010. The main aim of this thesis is to evaluate the impact of the solar tax on providers of this type of electrocity, who were not aware about it in advance before realization of their projects. In the first part of the thesis there is a description of the basic terminology regarding renewable energy and its forms, solar energy and discharge of electricity from solar radiation. The second part focuses on the characteristics of solar power Mříč a comparison of actual and projected costs and revenues after the introduction of solar tax. For selling prices the tax is set 26%, while for the green bonuses it is 28%. Results suggest that in the year of implementation of the solar tax the true expenses for providers were much higher compared to their expected values, which led to practically zero profits.
Anaerobic Digestion Plants in Rural Space: Some Comments on their Acceptance at Community Level
Martinát, S. ; Melníková, V. ; Dvořák, Petr ; Klusáček, P. ; Navrátil, J. ; Van der Horst, D.
mportance of energy generated from renewable sources has been recently constantly increasing. One of sectors where huge development has been experienced is anaerobic digestion plants sector (biogas stations). Its number and installed capacities have dramatically risen in last decade in the Czech Republic (11 installations with 4,19 MW in 2002, 481 installations with 48 1 MW in 2013). There is no doubt that operation of anaerobic digestion plants, alike other types of renewable sources of energy (wind power plants, solar power plants etc.), yields as alternative to non - renewable fossil sources plenty of positives. However problems are linked to renewable energy projects too. Such problems are connected to its location, realisation and operation of such facilities that might have important impact on both quality of life, landscape character and spatial relations within muni cipality. This contribution deals with socio - spatial aspects of renewable sources of energy with focus on anaerobic digestion plants and their acceptance by population on local level.
Evaluation of economic efficiency of investments - biogas plant
Zemanová, Pavlína ; Srpová, Jitka (advisor) ; Habrmanová, Blanka (referee)
The subject of this thesis is to evaluate investments in biogas plant purchased by company AGRA Deštná, a.s., which is located in Deštná, near Jindřichův Hradec. The thesis is divided into two main parts. The theoretical part is devoted to theoretical assumptions of investment evaluation, grants, theories and legislation related to the biogas plant. The practical part of the thesis describes the current situation of the company, investment, and economic evaluation of investment in the construction of biogas plants.
Energy policy for Germany: the impact of European energy policy strategy
Šátek, Lukáš ; Bič, Josef (advisor) ; Vošta, Milan (referee)
The aim of my thesis is to analyze the energy policy in Germany and its future development. There are many external and internal factors influencing the way how the energy policy is going to evolve. One of these factors is the common European energy policy. In order to cover its energy demand, EU is forced to establish a comprehensive energy policy on the European level. The increasing pressure caused by the combination of external and internal factors calls for better cooperation on this field. The key element of the future energy policy in EU will be the renewable sources of energy.
Biofuels
Environmental aspects of the European Union's energy policy
