Plays for a social skills development for preschool children

The bachelor thesis deals with the importance of developing the social skills of preschool children through games. Games focus on cooperation among children, good behavior towards other people and communication ability. The theoretical part contains mainly knowledge about basic concepts on the given topic, characteristics of developmental specifics of preschool child, game as a means of education and evaluation of educational programs in kindergarten. The practical part includes a program of games for the development of social skills, a description of the implementation of the games and their evaluation. In the results there are given methodological recommendations for the implementation of games with children in kindergarten.
Educational influence of Drama in Education on social and mental developement of pupils with learning difficutilties of the 1.st grade at Walfdorf school.

The diploma thesis deals with the educational influence of the subject of creative drama on psychosocial development of pupils with special learning difficulties (SLD) on 1st grade of Waldorf school. The work is focused mainly on the development of communication skills, respecting the boundaries, instructions and cooperation in the classroom using methods and techniques of drama education with pupils with SLD in 2nd half of 2nd grade and 1st half of 3rd class. The theoretical part defines the four basic parts of this diploma thesis psychosocial development of children of younger school age, special learning difficulties (SLD), accompanying phenomena and their influence on the psychosocial development of the child, characteristics of Waldorf school, methods and techniques of drama education. The practical part deals with the development of communication, cooperation, observance of rules, understanding of the topic and the ability of its interpretation of individuals and the whole group in the lessons of creative drama. In the lessons, we experienced key themes of the Waldorf School. The whole process is recorded and evaluated using record sheets from each lesson.

THESIS TITLE Children with Specific Language Impairment in the School Environment ABSTRACT The thesis focuses on children with specific language impairment (also called developmental dysphasia) in the school environment and it is divided into a theoretical and an empirical part. The theoretical part consists of four chapters. The first chapter describes specific language impairment and related terminology, defines a younger school-age child and also deals with causes, diagnosis and therapy of specific language impairment. The second chapter discusses social and communication skills of a child and the impact of specific language impairment on these skills. The third chapter concentrates on reading, writing and particular influences of specific language impairment which are associated with the development of other disorders and difficulties. The fourth chapter describes adaptation of a child with specific language impairment to the school environment. The empirical part consists of qualitative research, designed as multiple case studies, that was carried out among five younger school-age respondents.
