Augmented Reality for Mobile Devices for Local Visual Navigation for Android
Bezděk, Dušan ; Maršík, Lukáš (referee) ; Beran, Vítězslav (advisor)
This bachelor’s thesis deals with a proposal and implementation of application, that uses augmented reality and serves as a navigation for smartphones with the operating system Android. The navigation uses augmented reality for viewing virtual path into the canvas of the real world. This path is heading to the target destination. Map datas are provided by Google directions API and the location of device is fixed by GPS. This thesis describes a proposal and the realization of the application and writes about the solution of important problems in its implementation. The end of the thesis mentions the testing process and the final chapter evaluates the final results.
Application for Mobile Phone Which Will Proccess GPS Data (WM)
Skácel, Dan ; Zbořil, František (referee) ; Horáček, Jan (advisor)
This work deals with the development of an application for a mobile phone equipped with GPS module.  Theoretical part of the work briefly informs about GPS system, possibilities of saving GPS data and developing possibilities of applications for phones with Windows Mobile operating system. In practical part the solved problems are described, you can also find there the project and implementation of the application GPS Training, that serves as a training diary for sportsmen.
Drummer's Metronome for Smartphone and Smartwatch
Ondráček, Aleš ; Zemčík, Pavel (referee) ; Herout, Adam (advisor)
The purpose of this thesis is to create a drum metronome smartphone application, which would allow rhythm patterns to be stored in playlists. These would then be used to assist the drummer while playing at rehearsals and at smaller or medium-sized concerts. Key properties of the smartphone application design include the ability to be controlled wirelessly via bluetooth, by a smartwatch application. The final product consists of two interconnected parts: a smartphone metronome application, and a smartwatch control application.
Threats and negative influence of the use of technologies
Wohlgemuth, Petr ; Krhutová, Milena (referee) ; Walek, Agata (advisor)
Metronome for the Android Mobile Device
Pomkla, František ; Burget, Radek (referee) ; Bartík, Vladimír (advisor)
The purpose of this project is the implementation of metronome for smartphone with OS Android and smartwatch with OS Tizen. Both applications provide asynchronous functionality of metronome as well as data sharing  through Bluetooth connection. These metronome applications should help musicians in music bands. It allows to save specific song's tempo into playlists and than share them via Bluetooth connection with smartwatch application. The smartwatch application produces vibrations instead of click sound. Other smartphone metronome functionality is to scan drum stroke by internal device microphone and compare it with metronome beat. The programming languages C# and Java with SQLite databases were used for implementation.
Information System on Smartphone for Teachers
Živnůstka, Ondřej ; Smrčka, Aleš (referee) ; Rozman, Jaroslav (advisor)
This thesis is focused at information systems for basic and high schools and their use on smartphones. The goal is to create aplication for operation systems Android and iOS, which mediates work with school information systems. In the document is described topic of mobile applications and implementation. To create application were used tools PhoneGap and JQuery Mobile and programming languages JavaScript and HTML. Also database and server for communication were created.
Comparison of data from smartphones, fitness trackers, and specialised devices
Kačníková, Diana ; Smital, Lukáš (referee) ; Němcová, Andrea (advisor)
The focus of this thesis is the comparissement of data from smart phones, fitness bracelets and specialized devices. Thesis includes description of features when using special devices such as smart phone, Axivity AX3 bracelet and Fitbit Alta HR for data recording. Signals were recorded using those devices with different anatomical locations and sampling frequencies. Those data recorded were implemented for three algorithms created for activity classification. Detection accuracy was calculated for each signal recorded. Devices, sampling frequencies and anatomical locations were compared based on the accuracy. Ultimate combination of sampling frequency, anatomical location and suitable device was defined.
Smartphone-based fall detection
Strejček, Jakub ; Smital, Lukáš (referee) ; Němcová, Andrea (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with basic processing of data from accelerometer in smartphone, which is used for fall detection of people. By right detection we could prevent many serious injuries caused by delayed help to people, who were unable to call for help. This paper focuses on the mechanisms of falls and their characteristics and also on hardware used for fall detection. Furthermore, already created Android applications from Google Play and their functionality are studied. In addition to that there were collected data about people falls and an algorithm for detection of fall was created in Matlab. Android smartphone application was developed and tested in this work.
Classification of free living data
Rychtárik, Martin ; Vítek, Martin (referee) ; Smíšek, Radovan (advisor)
The topic of this bachelor thesis is classification of free living data, captured by the accelerometer sensor of a smart phone. The first part of the thesis deals with the possibilities of recording daily activity using accelerometer and subsequent classification by neural network. In the next section, the data of eight different daily activities were recorded on ten people. An algorithm containing a neural network was created for the data in the MATLAB programming environment to automatically identify the activities. In the last part of the work the algorithm classification was compared with manually recorded reference and the results were statistically evaluated.
