Strategic analysis of company Prominent CZ s.r.o.

The goal of this master's thesis is to perform strategic analysis and assessment of corporate strategy by using the system of Balanced Scorecard. The thesis itself consists of two parts. The first (theoretical) part describes mission, vision, strategy and the most common tools and methods for creating strategic analysis. This analysis contains external and internal analysis. The results are summarized in SWOT analysis, which is the baseline for creation of corporate strategy. The second (practical) part combines theoretical part and real data of analyzed company.
Assessment of the corporate strategy for company Directa Czech

Paper comprehensively summarizes the context and background of retail brokers on the Czech market and successfully leads through the various stages of setting corporate strategy on practical case, the company Directa Czech. The theoretical part provides basic information about the retail broker area, most traded instruments and describes differentiation between categories of retail brokers. In the practical part priority was given to situational analysis because it was necessary to establish a firm foothold for determining the appropriate corporate strategy. Chapter about analysis of the development potential properly extended and detailed knowledge of this situation analysis, which was used especially in determining the appropriate steps for implementation of the corporate strategy.
An Application of the Balanced Scorecard for a Medium-Sized Software Company

The thesis focuses on a medium-sized software company providing services for the largest financial companies and telecommunications operators in the Czech Republic since 1998, the corporate strategy formulation and representation of the strategy as the Balanced Scorecard. The strategic business units are identified, then analyses of different macro-environmental factors, resources and competencies elaborated. The analyses are used to formulate the strategies for the strategic business units. The corporate strategy is formulated based on discussed synergies between the strategic business units. The corporate strategy is expressed as the Balanced Scorecard system, the strategy map and the strategic actions are introduced. Finally, several aspects of the strategy are discussed from the system dynamics perspective.
Corporate culture and motivation of employees as a part of corporate strategy increasing company’s competitiveness

This master thesis combines corporate culture, corporate strategy, motivation and education of employees. Furthermore, there is also a focus on their interconnections. A real company Unicorn a.s. is presented in the second part -- owner's (Vladimír Kovář's) vision, goals and strategies. Moreover, there is introduced Unicorn's corporate culture, education of employees and human resources management. To check if the culture seems to be friendly and motivational to employees there was used a questionnaire among them. On the other hand, a few managers were interviewed -- if they are satisfied with the education level of their employees. The conclusions are summarized at the end.
Virtuální operátor jako nový typ poskytovatele telekomunikačních služeb zákazníkům.

The primary objective of the master's thesis is to identify and to characterize following action steps, which lead to establish a virtual network operator as a new start-up company. Firstly, a virtual operator is characterized from a technical point of view and as an innovation. Czech telecommunication market is compared to foreign markets by its price level. The power of market competitors was described and market gaps were identified. A project founding a virtual network operator was made to support the main objective of the thesis. General action steps were identified and commented after the project part of the thesis.
Place and the role of a risk management strategy in the system of organization crisis preparedness

The bachelor thesis discusses an importance and a position of the risk management strategy in a corporate strategy, which also forms the basis of organization crisis preparedness. The theoretical part focuses in the corporate strategy and its hierarchical structure, from which can be defined the place and the role of crisis management strategy. A part of the crisis management strategy, risk management strategy is further described in the thesis with its main components as well as the business continuity management strategy. Consecutively, a question of organization crisis preparedness with its two dimensions - factual and human is clarified. The practical part suggests a methodical procedure that includes continuity of steps needed to create and formulate the risk management strategy in a small and medium enterprise.
Diversification of production and business strategy

This dissertation is written on the company belonging to the group of the world largest producer of passenger cars and light trucks.There were identified major problems during last few years. During the first half of 2006 there was announced a sale of 51 % of company to an investor. The original mission was to serve and support sales of concern brands. The new shareholder is an investment corporation and has already announced the expectation of high increase of volumes and also the level of profitability. The subject of this dissertation is to provide Strategic analyze and redefine the Business Strategies of the selected Strategic Business Units in accordance with new needs and requirements related to the new investorś entry.

This graduation thesis is concerned with managment of company called R. Braun Internat Spedition ltd., which is carrying business in logistics, between 2004 and 2006. Thesis deals with its contemporary economic problems and proposes some possibilities how to improve business results in future too. Common analytic proceedings evaluating managment of studied company were used in this dissertation. All the results of analyses were used immediate advancements and modification of R. Braun Internat Spedition ltd. corporate strategy.

The principal objective and purpose of the thesis is to evaluate the company{\crq}s strategy and the suggestions of possible relevant adjustments and changes. Two separate divisions have been analysed in the company: division A and division B. The analysis of both divisions has been executed between 2005 and 2007. Certain anticipations of the future development have been determined on the analysis{\crq}s base. The anticipations are nevertheless influenced by the exterior and interior of the company. Three possible alternatives of the future development have been set up: the realistic, pessimistic and critical ones. These three alternatives have however the same purpose {--} to achieve the profit in both divisions A and B, or to achieve at least the level of costs where the incomes of the individual divisions are able to cover the total costs of the individual divisions.
