The aim of this master thesis is an analysis of choosen company and its competitiors, from which will be created proposals for changes in the primary marketing strategy, to increas their competitiveness which will lead to a strenghtening its positron in the market. The theoretical part of this work contains survey and elaboration of the appropriate materials and theory which are needed for successful realization of the chosen objectives. The practical part is dealing with the analysis of current marketing promotion and formulation of proposals for its efectiveness.

Proposal of Activities Increasing Competitiveness of Company

The aim of this master thesis is to improve the competitive position of a selected company by creation of new marketing mix. The thesis is divided into three parts. The first part constitutes the theoretical basis. The second part contains SLEPT analysis, analysis according to Porter’s five forces model, analysis of the company‘s marketing mix and its competition, and also includes a questionnaire. The third part deals with creation of new marketing mix for the company.

Quality and competition.

The present bachelor thesis deals with quality and it´s influence on competitiveness. This thesis consists of two parts- first part is focused on history and nowadays quality management both in the Czech Republic and word wide and it also explains the related basic terms. The main emphasis is given on the proper attitude to these issues and on the comparison of different cultures. The second part is devoted competitiveness and how to reach it by means of quality factor. Quality is divided into two sections – the inner quality of the company which can be achieved bythe system of quality (ISO standard, Kaizen, Lean production) and for the quality which the company must ensure to attract the customer, the so- called external quality (transport, design, marketing). A special subsection of the second part is a description of the company which has managed to successfully apply the system of quality into practice i.e the Japanese company Toyota.

Indirect costs as a competitive factor in the construction industry

Diploma thesis deals with an evaluation of indirect costs as a competitive factor in the construction industry. Notions like construction market, construction company, costs, their structuring and the way of their calculation, then competition, competitive advantage and competitiveness are theoretically defined in the first part of the thesis. The second part of the thesis deals with an evaluation of the questionnaire survey and the guided interviews. The questionnaire survey results and the results of guided interviews are compared and subsequently, recommendations are determined at the end of the thesis.
