Agricultural school of Písek from 1870 to 1927.

The bachelor thesis submitted deals with the creation, history and development of the agricultural high school in Pisek at the turn of the 20th century. The agricultural high school is one of the most prominent schools in the town of Pisek and its longstanding successful operations place it among the best high schools in Pisek. The thesis is based upon study of specialized literature, publications, printed yearly reports and yearbooks. The thesis is structured into 5 basic chapters. Since the agricultural high school is closely linked to agriculture practices, the second chapter outlines the history of agriculture at the turn of the 20th century and focuses more specifically on the period starting from the revolutionary year of 1848. The following chapter describes in general terms the history of agricultural education and the creation of agricultural and farming schools in the Czech lands within the context of agriculture history. It subsequently explains the gradual upswing of this type of school and the reasons for their creation in terms of educational needs of landowners and their national awareness. The fourth chapter deals with the history of the town of Pisek where the agricultural high school was created and run its operations with a particular focus on events that took place in the period starting from its foundation onwards. The last closing chapter is devoted to the history of the school from its foundation until the year 1949 with a small digression to the year 1970. It deals with the reasons and circumstances underlying its foundation, analyzes its upswing and expansion, touches on a few significant events in its history, contains a statistics of its student body and teachers and finally provides a list of specialized training courses on offer. An entire chapter is devoted to one of the most prominent figures in the school history, its longtime headmaster, Ladislav Burket.
Supervision in education

The bachelor thesis focuses on the topic of supervision in education. Supervision is almost unknown in most schools. It acts as an independent professional support for professionals. It is used in fields where intensive work is done with relationship or emotions. The condition of supervision is voluntary. The school supervisor works with adults and their opinions, emotions, relationships, and problems. At present, supervision is more often used in consulting or in education. It is basically an educational activity, a way to self-knowledge. Through it, the work with relational issues is improved, which is important in the teaching profession. The aim of this work is to analyse and describe the current attitude of pedagogical workers in education to supervision. A partial goal is to create a recommended procedure for the introduction of supervision in selected schools. A qualitative method, a method of interviewing and an uncontrolled interview technique were used to fulfil the above-mentioned goal. Based on these findings, it was recommended to introduce supervision to selected schools. At the same time, these findings revealed the specifics of introducing supervision into education. Supervision in education has an educational function, the target groups are pupils, supervised teachers, and supervisors. The bachelor thesis can serve as an inspiration and motivation for introducing supervision to more schools.
The professional satisfaction of teachers during their careers

The diploma thesis deals with the professional satisfaction of selected teachers in the implementation of their teaching profession. The theoretical part characterizes the teaching profession in terms of historical development and current changes. This is followed by teacher preparation for the profession and the topic of professional satisfaction from an overall perspective. In the practical part, the professional satisfaction of specific teachers during their careers is examined using qualitative research. The research is based on semi-structured interviews with selected teachers at different stages of school practice. The research survey focuses mainly on the pros and cons of the teaching profession and the demands associated with the teaching profession.

The first part briefly describes the history of former czechoslovakia and newly created Czech Republic. Second part draws near a history of high seminary mainly economic) educational system from 1945 to 2000. And finally in the third part I am attending to history of Commericial Academy itself (previously High commercial school from 1.9. 1949 and after it High economic school till 1.9.1960)Even if the supplied information aren;t and not even can be all (because of unavailability of sources), still and all it catches quite big time period and serves compact view about history of Commercial Academy.
Questioning youth: Strategies and support of youth development in the context of the Czech educational system

Master thesis Questioning youth: Strategies and support of youth development in the context of the Czech educational system analyses the system of prevention of homophobia and transphobia as well as possibilities of supporting questioning youth - adolescents who question their sexuality or gender identity. This master thesis provides an analysis of theoretical concepts regarding LGBTQ* adolescents, gender socialisation and institutional education. I followed three main research questions: It attempts to find answers to the following research questions: 1) How do people who are working at school counselling centres perceive questioning youth or LGBTQ* adolescents? 2) Which tools of prevention do the schools have in the areas of sexual and gender identity based discrimination or bulling and which ones do they actually use? 3) What does the systemic support of schools in the field of homophobia and transphobia prevention look like? Semi-structured interviews conducted with school counsellor and school psychologists have been chosen as a main research method. Reflection The diploma thesis deals with the topic of teaching during the coronavirus crisis. The coronavirus brought not only a disease, but also a pandemic which had global consequences for the population. People were affected by social, economic, psychological and physical consequences. This thesis deals with the impact of the pandemic on education and the form of teaching during this period. The teaching profession that was interrupted and limited at one point. Teachers were faced with a new situations brought by the closure of schools. A considerable amount of space is devoted to teaching itself, especially distance learning and it mentions its positives and negatives. A short cross-section of the history of teaching and its interruption is also interesting. The thesis is divided into two parts: theoretical and practical. The theoretical part is devoted to important concepts related to the coronavirus disease, the occurence and development of the pandemic itself. Lost (damned) time in school? History of the Grammar School in Litomyšl during the Protectorate of Bohemia and Moravia

The diploma thesis deals with the history of the grammar school in Litomyšl during the Protectorate of Bohemia and Moravia. It outlines the establishment of the grammar school in Litomyšl and describes its development and transformation between 1939 and 1945 in the context of political, economic and social changes. It discusses the school education system during the protectorate period, the course of the school year and the newly established institutions (Board of Trustees for the Education of Youth in Bohemia and Moravia, Youth of the National Partnership), as well as about the leisure activities of the youth. It records changes in education focusing on some of the subjects (Czech, history, German). It also concentrates on students and teachers and their problems during the Nazi occupation. Last but not least, it mentions some of the specific names of the Grammar School in Litomyšl associated with the resistance, the second martial law and the persecution of Jews. Education of hearing impaired elementary school students during the world pandemic of COVID-19

Master's thesis "Education of hearing impaired elementary school students during the world pandemic of covid-19" is analyzing changes in the czech educational system during the said pandemic. The theoretical part of master's thesis describes the educational system of hearing impaired students, the historical context behind it, the legislative basis and modern trends in this specific educational branch. Furthermore there are explained communication systems used by the hearing impaired. In the last chapter of the first part there is description of the covid-19, its course and spreading and the extraordinary measures in educational systém taken by the government. The practical part is based on informants' statements in semi-structured interview. These informants were recruited amongst teachers, parents and students, who were actively involved in educational process during the pandemic of covid-19. The aim of this thesis is analyzing the impact of taken measures from diferent perspectives of teachers, parents and hearing impaired students. The research reveals how the unprecedented situation was by showing how unprepaired all focus groups were.
