Diplomová práce "Questioning youth": Strategie a podpora rozvoje dospívajících v kontextu českého vzdělávacího systému analyzuje systém prevence homofobie a transfobie a možnosti podpory questioning youth, tedy dospívajících, kteří zpochybňují či hledají svou sexualitu nebo genderovou identitu. Práce přináší analýzu teoretických konceptů zabývajících se LGBTQ* dospívajícími, genderovou socializací a institucionálním vzděláváním. Následovala jsem tři hlavní výzkumné otázky: 1) Jak lidé působící na školních poradenských pracovištích vnímají questioning youth, respektive LGBTQ* dospívající? 2) Jaké prostředky prevence v oblasti sexuality a genderu mají školy k dispozici, a jaké reálně využívají? 3) Jaká je systémová podpora škol v oblasti prevence homofobie a transfobie? Hlavní metodou jsou polostrukturované rozhovory se školními metodičkami prevence a školními psycholožkami z víceletých gymnázií. Výběr je omezený na Prahu a blízké okolí a zahrnuje státní i soukromá gymnázia. Empirická část zjišťuje, že zásadní témata ovlivňující přístup mých komunikačních partnerek ke questioning youth jsou postoje samotných aktérek, terminologie, kterou používají, jejich nejistoty a nedostatek informací týkající se LGBTQ* tematiky a povědomí o reálných možnostech intervence vůči questioning youth. Master thesis Questioning youth: Strategies and support of youth development in the context of the Czech educational system analyses the system of prevention of homophobia and transphobia as well as possibilities of supporting questioning youth - adolescents who question their sexuality or gender identity. This master thesis provides an analysis of theoretical concepts regarding LGBTQ* adolescents, gender socialisation and institutional education. I followed three main research questions: It attempts to find answers to the following research questions: 1) How do people who are working at school counselling centres perceive questioning youth or LGBTQ* adolescents? 2) Which tools of prevention do the schools have in the areas of sexual and gender identity based discrimination or bulling and which ones do they actually use? 3) What does the systemic support of schools in the field of homophobia and transphobia prevention look like? Semi-structured interviews conducted with school counsellor and school psychologists have been chosen as a main research method. The selection of communication partners is limited to Prague and the surrounding area and includes both public and private schools.
