Implementation of offensive standard situations in football at various performance levels

The diploma thesis focuses on the implementation of offensive standard situations in football. Specifically in the competitions: division group B, third league group A and the highest competition, ie the first league. The analysis of the work is based on watching football matches from the record. The diploma thesis consists of two main sections, namely the theoretical and research section. The theoretical section is focused on theoretical concepts such as game systems, game combinations, game activities and standard situations. The research section contains the following research situations: how teams most often play offensive standard situations, from which place most offensive standard situations take place, which player most often plays offensive standard situations, from which area players most often end offensive standard situations, which player most often ends offensive standard situations, ending offensive standard situations on goal or out of goal in selected Czech football competitions, which I mentioned above. The information from the diploma thesis can be a support for coaches in the analysis of offensive standard situations of individual teams, and coaches will then be able to appropriately choose tactics in defending offensive standard situations. The Building on Obilní trh

The gap on the opposite side of Obilní trh has been a neglected area for a long time and it looks unaesthetic. The location of the place is ideal for the construction of a building of public interest as it is located near the city center and at the same time it is surrounded by nature especially the park around the castle Spilberk. The situation is solved in this thesis by designing a multifunctional building which houses mainly the Office of district Brno střed, Brno City Architect's Office and the Urban Center. The premises attract with their variable use and also with the mutual communication of the building with the outdoor spaces. The urbanism of the design respects and complements the surrounding public space while not disturbing the current state of public infrastructure and life in the city. On the contrary, the design supports the attractiveness of the place and the city of Brno as such.

Democratic Architecture – Kamenný vrch

The bachelor thesis intends to add a new perspective to the area of Kamenný vrch, which is currently dominated by a residential function. The urban design defines the center of the site, thus responding to the lack of a unified public space for the inhabitants. The designed mixed-use building is located in the southeast of the area and includes residential units on the upper floors, a vertical farm, and a market. The vertical farm and market bring new work opportunities to the area and are an interesting tourist attraction. The functions and form of the building are primarily influenced by the noise pollution from the surrounding roads and the orientation to the cardinal points.

The Final Externalization of the Others and its Consequences for the Turkish Foreign Policy

This diploma thesis focuses on the analysis of Turkish Foreign Policy (TFP) towards the sub- regions of Central Eurasia (the Middle East and Central Asia) in the period between 1991 and 2010. Theoretically, this thesis combines a modified version of social constructivism with the assumptions of critical geopolitics. Interconnecting social constructivism with the Foreign Policy Analysis (FPA), this thesis targets the domestic level of analysis. Therefore, the ideational background of the decision-makers is examined. Although, the potential impact of the identity variable on the TFP articulation is investigated after 1991 only, the genesis of the long-term identity conflict within the Turkish (Ottoman) society is also included in the analyses. Given the geopolitical part, this thesis draws upon the basic critical insight that the geopolitical argumentation is based on discursive rather than material factors. The aim is to identify the geopolitical metaphors which had been, in the examined period, applied while dealing with the above mentioned sub-regions. At this stage, the theoretical approaches are logically synthetized and the genesis and usage of the geopolitical metaphors is examined in relation to the identity of those who formulated them. Gallery of modern art

The conceptual design of the Gallery of Modern Art is created with the aim to build the timeless social and cultural center, situated in urban conservation zone, which is in the connection with the cultural axis of the existing round avenue of Brno. The proposed building is located in the Moravian Square, in the place of the existing park. It is a neoplasm in the historic space, which is adding the uniqueness of surrounding by its concept. This proposed building will reflect the most modern architectural, building and construction elements.

Kohoutovice - city district of three centers

The work in the introductory part briefly outlines the historical and current development of the Kohoutovice district in terms of historical events and urban development. Subsequently, the work focuses on a detailed analysis of the three potential centers of this city district. Each center is evaluated on the basis of predetermined criteria that describe the relationship of the selected centers to their visitors. The analyzed criteria are then evaluated and compared in order to select the most suitable of the three solved areas for building a full-fledged cultural core of the municipality and a cultural background for the Kohoutovice citizens with regard to the future urban development of the municipality.

Modern Art Gallery

The subject of this bachelor thesis is the draft of a new building of the Modern Art Gallery. The plots in question, i. e. no. 272/51 and no. 272/56, on which the construction project is placed, is located in the cadastral area of the city of Brno, with the main access to the land from Benešova street. The building is situated on the land near the border of the plot with Koliště Street, i. e. on its northeast side. The basic concept of the project, that originates from the sole frequency of the surrounding streets, aims to balance the unevenness of the housing development. At the same time, one of the objectives of this thesis is to develop the plot so that the character of the circular bypass around the city centre is preserved. The shape of the final draft was greatly influenced by two urban axes, namely north and southwest, one of which characterizes the housing development in the direction from the Brno City Hall and the other is characteristic for buildings located in the direction of the Main Train Station. The axes then meet in the middle of the proposed building. The proposed building has four floors, while the underground floor also serves as an garage. On the first floor there is a café, which is connected to a outdoor space with staircase steps. The layout of the gallery on all floors is multifunctional. The third floor also partially serves as a terrace. The proposed building is characterized by inducing a feeling of lightening, which was achieved by embedding the first and third floors inwards and also rounding the corners of the façade of the second floor. An important element of the building is also the solution of natural light penetration. Within the exhibition areas, natural lighting is solved by a fully glazed façade, where a foil is inserted between the individual glasses, which absorbs all direct rays. Only neutral dispersion light gets inside the object. The facade of the building is solved by concrete cladding in its natural design.

The Brownfields solutions within the Czech Republic - Tepna Nachod

The diploma thesis follows up the area in the center of Náchod along the former textile factory Tepna, which is located at the transition between the historical center and the housing estate. The proposal is based on problem analysis and uses the potential, limits and quailities of the area. The concept is a new urban quarter with a residential block of buildings complemented by civic amenities and high-quality public spaces. The design preserves the existing building of the Bílá Tepna, for which a new functional use is proposed. The proposal is solved with respect to the character of the place, the connection to the surrounding buildings and the emphasis on the preference of pedestrian traffic over the automobile traffic.

The Brownfields solutions within the Czech Republic - Tepna Nachod

The urban study deals with the design of the new city district in the area where the Tepna Náchod textile factory used to stand. The total area of the solved area (including the existing development) is 10.35 ha. My intention was to create a new neighborhood that will take advantage of the huge benefits of this area. These are the terrain configuration and the immediate proximity of the historic city center and the train and bus stations. Because the area is flat and it is one of the few in the city that is not on the slope, I decided to place a compact block of flats and make the most of the area. The aim was to design a new city district, basically a modern city center, but it will not compete with the historic one, but rather will support it. The newly designed public spaces are not critical in their size, but in their content and diversity. The main idea of the proposal was to use the proximity of the railway station, the historic center and the terrain and create a barrier-free city district for the inhabitants, which will connect the surrounding city districts and at the same time offer enough housing, places for business and also a leisure time environment. And everything is within walking distance of the station and the center.

Urban concept of social center in residential complex Brno-Lesná

This thesis has been prepared as urban study of social center residential complex in Brno - Lesná. I tis a lociation which wasn´t copleted during the construction of settlements Lesná already been completed. The main objective of the study is to verify the territorial land use options that already has an earlier era of the proposed basic services and building structure and contains values that should be respected. The priority of the proposal was to amend the pedestrian routes territory and reach their easy access. It passes through the center of the site Okružní Street, which divides the northern and southern parts. Original Halasovo Square lies to the north of this large area. Therefore, it was due to the availability and optimization of facilities proposed new territory south sguare with commercial and cultural center. Furthermore solved territory is divided into four areas. Each of them are concentrated in the vicinity of some of the surviving buildings (preserved objects - Albert shop and pool together sports hall TJ Tesla Brno, Lesná Clinic, Lidl shop, building society as Vema). Proposal limits sports and recreational areas, and places new buildings for public facilities and housing.
