Intimate relationships between healthcare workers in a particular healthcare services provider

This thesis is focused on the formation and presence of the intimate relationships between healthcare workers from nurses' point of view. The aim is to find out if those intimate relationships are developing on the nurses' workplaces and which factors can influence their origin as well as to find out if the presence of this relationship between a doctor and a nurse can affect the quality of collaboration among themselves but also with the other workers in the workplace. The theoretical part is dedicated to important socialization factors of the individual in society. It's focused on a position and function of the individual in a group, formal and informal relationships, family and it's function and types, on a married life and on risk factors of a family environment. The integral part is a description of the profession of a doctor and a nurse with their roles, team cooperation and professional relationship, but also a description of the doctor's and nurse's relationship like man's and woman's with potential intimate relationship. The empirical part is processed as a quantitative research. Data were obtained by non- standardized anonymous questionnaire and the research sample consisted of 177 respondents. Media coverage of doctors in a connection to manifestation "Děkujeme - odcházíme"in daily press

The main aim of this study was to describe the media coverage of the manifestation "Děkujeme, odcházíme" ("Thank you we're leaving" in English) in the daily press Mladá fronta Dnes and Právo. In this manifestation doctors complained about bad financial and organizational conditions of the Czech health care system. They put forward several requests - among other things, they wanted to change the system of education, improve the control of finances in hospitals as well as they asked for salary increase. If their requests hadn't been heard, they would have left their current jobs and started working in the private sector or even abroad. This study used quantitative content analysis as well as qualitative content analysis and also described topics and participants that appeared in the articles concerning the manifestation. Moreover it also described the media coverage of the doctors who participated in the manifestation.

Relationship doctor- patient; criminal aspect

The purpose of my thesis is to analyse criminal aspects of the relationship between a doctor and an patient. The reason for my research is that I think this topic does not recive enough attention in Czech republic as it deserves. The thesis is composed of five chapters, each of them dealing with different aspects of doctors criminal lability. I dedicated m attention only to doctors criminal lability, not to the criminal liability of patient. Chapter One is introductory and defines basic terminology used in the thesis as types of lability, basic aspects of relatinship between doctor and patient, medical experiment, specific aspects of criminal lability in medicine and another terminology which is often used in medical law. The chapter is devided in nine parts. Chapter Two is dedicated to crimes which are usually committed by doctors practising their profession. The chapter is divided five parts, using the same system and order as in czech Penal Code. Chapter Three is subdivided in two parts. Part one is dedicated to euthanasia and legal problems which are united with euthanasia. Chapter three examines relevant czech legislation and problems in czech legislation united with euthanasia. Aim of this Bachelor's Thesis "Web ambulatory care information system" is to gain information about ambulatory systems and comprehend their principles. On this knowledge base build up own ambulatory system and assume results. Created application involves basic functionality provided by obvious ambulatory systems and is opened for future update. System is conceived as web application. It was built up with the usage of facilities for development web information systems in Java language, specifically by using JSF (Java Server Faces), JSP (Java Server Pages) and Servlets.

Design of dental chair

This thesis is deals with design of dental chair which is integrated into dental unit. Whole concept of the proposal is in conformity with compulsory requirements for equipment of dental unit. Whole proposal meets technical, ergonomic and hygienic requirements, which are especially in health service very high. The main point of design proposal is elaboration of whole shape arrangement and determination of colour scheme. These characteristics have high influence for patient psychic. Comfortable sitting of patient and his rest help to doctors with treatment. Computer visualization and model in scale factor 1:3 is included.

This Diploma thesis deals with creation and realisation of extensions for medical dental unit Vizio. Specifically, it deals with electrotechnical solution and software for capacitive keyboard and with proposal of principle of control and regulation of speed for integrated brushless motor. The Diploma thesis contains both the description of used hardware components, and software solution implemented in assembly language. This device is already in commercial use.

Stressogenic Factors in a Health-Care Facility

This thesis deals with work-related stress and stressors of medical staff, doctors and nurses. The aim is to expound this issue and to determine the level of stressors influencing the medical staff in given hospitals. As first in the theoretical section, the characteristics and specifics of medical profession are described, thereafter personality traits supposed for this profession. The second chapter describes stress, which medical staff is burdened with, and concrete typical stressors as well. The third chapter concerns burnout syndrome, which is a possible consequence of long-acting stress. The fourth and last chapter is devoted to the prevention and coping of stress and burnout. The practical section presents the evaluation of the survey concerning effect of stressors on the medical staff of four selected hospitals. According to the ascertained results are outlined measures for improving the situation and preventing acting stressors.

Social and emotional development of an individual with ADHD syndrome

Bachelor thesis "Social and emotional development with individuals with ADHD" (Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorders) addresses how individuals develop from birth until early adulthood, and what problems these individuals, their parents, teachers and the whole neighborhood faces. Given that from ADHD syndrome suffer between 3-5% of the child population, it is certain that almost every teacher encounters with a child suffering from the syndrome. Personality of a teacher has an important impact on a development of a student with ADHD syndrome and influences mainly whether a child with the syndrome receives at school appropriate evaluation, will perform with adequate results with regard to their intellect and whether a child will like to go to school or will only have bad memories of school. Syndrome of attention deficit disorder together with hyperactivity is also currently known as so-called ADHD syndrome. Children which suffer from this disorder tend to be hyperactive, impulsive and have attention deficit disorder. For this reason they have behavioral and learning problems mostly from the first grade of primary school. Despite the fact that the intelligence of children with ADHD syndrome is not affected by the syndrome and in most cases they have average to above-average intelligence the children do not reach adequate results at school. Often receiving bad grading or being criticized for bad behavior and receiving notes sent home. These children are identified by others as sloppy, fools, punk, thugs, cheeky, etc." This thesis contains overview of up-to-date knowledge of this area (issue), above all reasons for ADHD, diagnostics and kinds of ADHD, legislation, possibilities of how to reduce ADHD syndrome and influence positively at a child as of very early age until the completion of the school attendance. In my research I have concentrated on evaluation of the main problems of individuals influenced by ADHD syndrome. These individuals suffer with ADHD as of early age up until adulthood during their studies and while spending free time. Taking into consideration the view of the teachers, doctors, parents and social workers. Study of the Bachelor thesis was prepared based on qualitative research method, the data were obtained from 3 kinds of anonymous surveys which were composed while using closed, semi-open and open questions. The studied group consist of doctors from hospital - pediatric department in České Budějovice, from children psychiatric hospital in Opařany, teachers from the primary school in Týn nad Vltavou and social workers from department MěÚ in Týn nad Vltavou. The aim of the research was to find out whether students if they are provided with specific educating and raising needs still show problems during tuition. If the individuals with ADHD syndrome are accepted by other children in a group, if based on the research persists syndrome ADHD until the adulthood and if this issue is perceived or ignored by layman and professional public.
