This bachelor thesis is being focused on the processing of the biography of our successful and well-known Czechoslovakian national hockey team member Jan Hrbatý. According to the subject of matter is this work aimed primary on his personality, secondary on a brief outline of history of ice hockey in the world. Brief outline of history of ice hockey in the Czech Republic and in Jihlava follows. According to period of time is this work focused on the 50's till 70's. In wider connection I mention period of beginning of our ice hockey and subsequent development of ice hockey in Jihlava. The work is incorporated with an amount of various extracts from contemporary press and memorial literature. As addition follows amount of pictures and photographs of the period mentioned above. The text is supplemented and controlled interview.

Thesis: Detailed manual for training and coaching upcoming hockey players of 6 to 8 years of age. Main objektive: The main purpose of the thesis is to portray and illustrate modern practice techniques. Furthermore, practice methods and detailed explanation of specific situations is also illustrated. Strucutre of the thesis: The theoretical part includes the analysis and presentation of several known and proven publications in regards to training methods. The practical section is dedicated to the explanation of the most modern methods and trends in high quality traning methods that are currently used in professional hockey. These professional methods include interactive, full- body drills. Results: The data analysis and the application of modern training methods serve not only to make the training units enjoyable and engaging, it also allows for young hockey players to learn and practice the necessary movements and tactics used in professional hockey. Marketing research of HC Sparta Praha fans' saticfaction

Title: Marketing research of HC Sparta Praha fans' satisfaction Objectives: The main objective of this diploma thesis is to find out how satisfied were HC Sparta Praha fans with the quality and the quantity of services that were offered them during season 2010/2011. As the contribution of the diploma thesis I will propose, according to the outcome of the marketing research, new services that can HC Sparta Praha offer to increase the fans' satisfaction. I will eventually propose how to improve current services. Methods: I used a method of personal interview, electronic survey and observing in my diploma thesis. The method of personal interview was used for the preparation of a questionnaire. I interviewed employees of HC Sparta Praha's marketing department. The method of electronic survey was used for data collecting and I used observing when working in a Customer Care Centre and when attending HC Sparta Praha's home matches. Results: I found out, that HC Sparta Praha fans were satisfied with almost all services, that the club offered them. The most important thing, when attending home match, is a sport performance and the less important is a supplementary program. Ice Hockey Injuries in the Professional Ice Hockey Leagues in Czech Republic

Title: Ice Hockey Injuries in the Professional Ice Hockey leagues in Czech Republic Objective: The aim of this thesis is to investigate the incidence, types, severity and mechanisms of injury in Czech ice hockey players at the highest competition level during the season 2010/2011. Methods: Data were collected by the non-standardized six-side questionnair from 11 teams in the highest ice hockey league in Czech Republic for season 2010/2011. Findings: There were a total of 559 injuries, 18,4% injuries occured during praktice, 75% during games. The overall game injury rate was 57,4 per 1000 games. The most common injury was laceration in the face. Collision with an oponent, with the boards or fall on ice caused nearly 38% of injuries. As for severity, 45,1% injuries were classified as minor and 14,3% as major injuries. Of the 419 game injuries, 65,2 % occured in forwards, 28,1% in defensemen and 6,7% in goalkeepers. The impact of a three-month training on motor functions in preschool hockey players

Title: The impact of a three-month training on motor functions in preschool hockey players Objectives: The goal of this diploma thesis is to summarize the knowledge about motor functions in preschool children. Also to find suitable test methods which should help to evaluate the motor level of children this age who are attending the preparation course in the hockey club Sparta Praha and also evaluate the influence of a three month hockey training on postural maturity and development of motor skills on the regular surface and on the ice. Methods: The pre-experiment was conducted in hockey preparation course HC Sparta Praha in preschool children during their training. It was carried out using 5 tests evaluating postural maturity, which were evaluated by two physiotherapists and 4 tests evaluating the level of motor skills on the regular surface and on the ice, which was measured on time. Tests were performed twice, with a three-month interval. Results: After three months of training, there was no substantial improvement in postural maturity assessment tests, although the consensus of the two physiotherapists in the assessment of the postural tests maturity was relatively high, for both measurements. Thesis name: Ice Hockey Players' Association strategic plan project Thesis aims: The main aim is to describe both external and internal environmental forces of Ice Hockey Players' Association and to design a complex strategic plan project for a specific time period 1.8.2012 - 31.7.2015. Methods: Supportive analytical methods SWOT and STEP were used as a descriptive analysis for identifying the initial situation of the organisation. Within the bounds of the descriptive analysis, focus group, and interview were used. Results: The outcome of this thesis is a complex project of Ice Hockey Players' Association strategic plan based on results of used analyses. The influence of two different lower limb exercises on the speed of skating during dry land training in young ice hockey players aged 17 to 20.

Title: The influence of two different lower limb exercises on the speed of skating during dry land training in young ice hockey players aged 17 to 20. Aim: The aim of this study was comparation of the effect of two variations in preseason pre preparation on speed of skating. Methods: The hockey players in the age from 17 to 20, who have been training ice hockey for 12 - 14 years, have been watched. The hockey players have been divided into two groups on the base of the technology of the skating. The speed of the skating, have been measured at all hockey players at the beginning of the watching. Then the hockey players have absolved the summer preparation. The capacity of the training has been the same for both groups (the amount of the lessons, frequency, etc.). The difference was in the way of performing of some exercises, mainly the exercising of the legs. The first group has been doing the exercises in the "speed" form, while the second group has been doing the exercises in the " strength" form. The effect of the used training has been controlled by the motoric tests. The speed of the ice skating has been evaluated again before the beginning of the playing season.
