The aim of this thesis is to evaluate enterprise ESTCOM CZ oxide ceramics Inc. for the purpose of sale to the general candidates on the market. The goal is to find the market value on December 31, 2014. The first part is theoretical and it summarizes the currently valid theoretical knowledge of recognized experts. T he second part is the practical part. It consists of financial and strategic analysis, followed by a chapter of value drivers and a financial plan. The financial plan was drawn up for the years 2015 2019. At the end of the thesis is company valued using discounted cash flow method discounted cash flow method and the capitalized earnings method.

The Valuation of the company FARMAK, a.s.

The diploma thesis is dealing with the valuation of the Compaq FARMAK, a.s. and it is created for potential investors. The company evaluation refers to December 4, 2013. The beginning of the thesis is related to the theoretical part, where methods used in the practical part are described. In the first instance, there is financial analysis of financial statements performed. The analysis has three elements -- vertical analysis, horizontal analysis and ratio analysis. Then the strategic analysis is performed with its analysis of micro and macro environment. Then financial plan was planned based on previous analyses and prognosis of value generators. The valuation of the company is using yield method of discounted free cash flow. -- FCFF and then the value is compared with the accounting value of the company.

The forecast of attendance in Choceň up until the year 2015 through the time series

This thesis focuses on the analysis of the demographic development and student attendance at kindergartens and primary schools in Choceň. The main objective is to forecast the number of students enrolling in the first year program's up until the year 2015. Predicted numbers are then compared with the current capacities at these school institutes and, in conclusion, the appropriate solutions are suggested. Sample procedure and generated forecast can be useful to Choceň Council to prevent the problems with insufficient capacity at kindergartens and primary schools.

An evaluation of economic development of PROZNAK Praha, Ltd.

The aim of this bachelor's thesis is to evaluate an economic development of PROZNAK Praha, Ltd. since 2008. The theoretically-methodological part will be devoted to the definition of economic and financial analysis and methodology of formulas that will be further applied in the practical part to analyze financial reports. The practical part will provide background and practical information about the presented company with the inclusion of contextualization of industry development. The analyzed company will be put through horizontal and vertical analysis as well as balance rules, followed by chapter dedicated to ratios such as profitability, activity, labor productivity, debt ratios and liquidity. Similarly, phenomena including working capital, ROE decomposition, economic value added, value and bankruptcy models will be analyzed. The detected outcomes will be compared to competition and will help to provide prognosis of economic development of the company. The concluding part will summarize the findings of the dissertation and offer relevant recommendation for future development.

Statistical analysis of the development of the fecundity and fertility in the Czech Republic and the European Union

This bachelor thesis deals with the analysis of demographic development of fecundity and fertility in the Czech Republic and European Union. The total fertility rate and crude birth rate are the main demographic data this bachelor thesis is based on. The aim of the thesis is to determine the most suitable trend function for the number of all births in Czech Republic from 2003 to 2013. Secondary purpose of this bachelor thesis is to predict the number of all birth up until the year 2015.The results of the survey carried out in this bachelor thesis are hoped to be helpful to the experts dealing with the topic of the demographic development of fecundity and fertility.

This Bachelor Thesis describes closer the impact of economic crisis in automotive industry and the globalization of automotive industry and foreign direct investment in automotive industry in Czech Republic and also describes trade balance of this industry sector in Czech Republic. For more information value, the Bachelor thesis focuses on a TNC company Volkswagen Group, especially its representation in the Czech Republic. The main goal of this work is to determine the prognosis of the automotive industry in the Czech Republic and prognosis of the domestic market with new cars.

The aim of the thesis is to discuss the theoretical role of controlling in a company, to compare it with the real controlling in a specific company and consequently to deduce some recommendations for improvement. The theoretical part deals with the issues of controlling, namely the main subsystems of controlling which include planning, control and reporting. In the practical part the author analyses the application of individual controlling functions in the specific company, suggests recommendations for improvement and makes assessments of possible economic impacts resulting from those recommendations.

Dealing with the risks in crop production by commercial insurance

The main purpose of this thesis is dealing with the risks in crop production by commercial insurance. The paper provides description of the occurrence and form of the risks in crop production and agricultural insurance as one of the ways of the protection against them. It analyzes the development of crop insurance from 1986 to present, discusses how statutory insurance was provided by the state insurance company until 1990 and also presents the current form of commercial insurance, including a detailed comparison of offers according to the relevant insurance conditions. The next part of the thesis is focused on the government subsidies on agricultural insurance operated in the Czech Republic. The last part of this thesis describes possible trends of future strategies of risk management in the agricultural business including uninsurable risks. These possible trends are presented and discussed in several models.
